Hart got a written agreement from Bischoff not to mention the signing on TV until he had fulfilled all of his WWF obligations.

Y'know for all of his faults, I didn't expect Gabe Sapolsky to book an angle around his critics, and I really should have. -

King Booker on the Smackdown before WM. I don't necessarily disagree with you otherwise, though. -

And just about everyone in wrestling who has was on steroids at the time, often doing relatively mundane things that would not tear the muscles if steroids were't involved. I forget where on the continuum of muscle tears pec falls from between "possible without steroids but a complete tear off the bone would be from steroids" like torn groin muscles and "steroid injuries" like torn quads, but there was a story explaining them in the WON after (I think) the Undertaker injury this year. If someone ever says that a complete tear from the bone of a pec muscle or any muscle is definatlely the result of steroids, throw that report out the window because it is completely, and without a doubt, full of shit. So you're saying that HHH's full quad tear (maybe tears, I forget what the second one was) could theoretically be from something else? -

Exactly. -
For what it's worth, on Thursday night's F4D with Bryan, Dave Meltzer gave an opposite reason for why it's probably not happening: The Congressmen were horrified by how wrestling had "much worse assholes than they thought" and realized that there would be no solution that could do anything worthwhile, short of creating a national commission, which would most likely not happen.

I'm a fan of Cena's work, but it's been really ridiculously obvious since a few months ago that Cena's using SOMETHING. Mainly: - His mouth. Seeing him on Larry King with the sort of talking head closeups that WWE doesn't use too often, some sort of bodybuilding chemical gave him a gorilla mouth worse than Ultimate Warrior's. - Lance Storm pointed out that Cena specifically claims to the other wrestlers that he doesn't use "anabolics." Since HGH is not an anabolic steroid and WWE representatives (including Cena) claimed that Testosterone Cypionate is not an anabolic steroid, this sheds new light on his claims.

Well, the pay sites are designed for people with women's wrestling fetishes, who do pay that much, as opposed to people who happen to like women's wrestling. Seriously.

Cena is going to be super over even after he does drop the title. The people who hate him don't hate him specifically because he has the title, but because they hate women, children, and homosexuals. Fixed.

Err, Alabama slam, you're right. Hollycaust = Falcon Arrow. Also the fansite description seems to indicate less of a flip and more that he was supposed to push off Khali to get air and instead grabbed him, so Ong to go straight down with his neck tilted back instead of straight or tucked. -

Waterwheel drop = Hollycaust. Not sure why I thought the official stuff was closer to spinebuster, but from a practical standpoint, a flapjack makes no sense, as I can't see Khali being able to bend over enough to even try it. As described on the Khali fan site, it seems like it was intended as halfway between a back body drop and a flapjack, similar to what Benoit seemingly tried to do to Sabu, or maybe the nameless "toss dude in the air by his chest and let him fall on his face and chest" spot that often leads to huricanrana counters. Both of those seem more likely to be attempted by Khali. -

I've never heard flapjack, Dominator, backdrop, or bodyslam. The worst I heard was waterwheel drop. From the descriptions given in the trial/news coverage, it was something along the lines of a spinebuster, tree slam, or MAYBE waterwheel drop (which would be the riskiest, I'd guess). -

I believe Ong had suffered his first (known) concussion the previous week and was trying to avoid much activity as possible, but the trainer (it was Massaro hands-on and Morgan "supervising" in another room, right?) badgered him into getting in the ring. The second concussion came from a Khali tree slam. Ong was vomiting and was again badgered into getting back in the ring. This is where he got the fatal injury. Letting Ong work at all on a concussion, especially right after the 2nd one where he was showing symptoms immediately, was insane, evil, and negligent. -

- Homicide rupturing Steve Corino's eardrum - Gran Akuma? (or whoever it was) rupturing Jimmy Rave's eardrum - Danny Inferno breaking CM Punk's nose & rupturing his eardrum in the same match - Samoa Joe concussing a Ballard twin. - Samoa Joe concussing Kurt Angle. - Samoa Joe concussing KENTA, KENTA or Joe concussing Bryan Danielson, and Danielson or KENTA rupturing Joe's eardrum, all in the same match. - Low-Ki concussing Dan Maff. - Whatever the hell Low-Ki did to Kid Sensation to make him vomit blood. - Yoshihiro Takayama accumulates numerous brain injuries leading to a cerebral thrombosis after his G-1 match with Kensuke Sasaki. - Naohiro Hoshikawa's 2nd concussion in a few minutes comes from a stiff lariat, he suffers severe brain damage and forgets most of his life. - Chris Benoit uses shoot headbutts often, suffers severe brain damage, and kills his family before taking his own life. I'm sure I'm forgetting many more. -
Depending on how the hearings and such go, they're probably the closest they've been to an American network cancelling them since the bad ratings in '96-'97. They already lost TV in Italy over Benoit.

I didn't say I was, but I suspect that a doctor who clears someone to wrestle and do the same stupid dangerous spots just over 1 week after suffering a seizure-inducing concussion, a fucking TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY, is not a very good one. -

Yes, and Rod Strong, after being told to "go home" by loopy Delirious, went on with their planned angle and powerbombed him on a guardrail.
