This week we'll get something like "Blind Date", complete with the bubbles with with words, on screen comments, that sort of thing. Better yet...a "Cheaters" spoof. Regal can be the host and Santino can be the guy who thinks he's getting cheated on. We'll see clips of "Private detectives" spying on Regal and Maria on their date as Regal gives commentary, then later on Santino and Regal and a few camera guys bust in on Maria and Simmons in the middle of their dinner date.

Is there no way to change whose on the field and whose not on the field? I wanted to bring Jordan out and bring in Fargas (Raiders) during the game but I couldn't find the area to sub players. I even looked after the game was over to see if I could just make it so Fargas could start instead of Jordan, but I didn't see that anywhere either. Don't tell me they took that aspect out. This is in Franchise mode by the way.

I think it's just the new facepaint and a haircut, the plain colour does make Boogey look a lot different. Personally, I don't really like the new look (and as far as minor things to complain about in wrestling, I realise that's right up there). It kinda looks like a Heel Boogeyman would have done before his old look, really plain and basic. I've been wondering the same thing as well, I don't know but Boogey just seems thinner and I thought his voice wasn't the same when I heard it on Monday.

I always liked him better as a heel. I've seen him wrestle as a face in front of a few live crowds, the man can get himself insanely over, not only that but he would a good name value for that show.

I think WWE will basically do to WCW what they did to the AWA name. By that I mean, WWE will just throw in AWA's name for a backround thing for a wrestler or show old footage of a certain match for a certain wrestler. WWE won't talk about what WCW did right as a promotion, but what they did right for a certain wrestler.

I caught a bit of X-play today and they were showcasing the fall sports line up and I just happen to catch a pre-view of Smackdown vs Raw 2008 and they showed a lot of Sandman and damn it seems you can do a LOT more with weapons now...and I had no clue there were going to be flaming tables. One thing I kinda didn't like were the wrestlers body models, they all seemed to shiny for my taste.

When did D-Lo get signed? Or was it a try out match? No idea. I MIGHT find out more information next weekend (Aug 24th and 25) as he's doing a training seminar with the promotion I train with and he's also working a show for us the next night. So I'm pretty much gonna talk to him for a good part of that weekend but I'm not gonna hold my breathe about finding out more information about what happen with the WWE.

A cheap DQ would have continued to build the feud and kept Joe strong. This doesn't further the feud, makes Joe look like a moron, and alienates the entire fanbase. Explain to me, from a kayfabe standpoint, how I'm supposed to take Joe seriously as a title contender after that. Joe gets angry for being outsmarted and beats the living hell out of Angle, but not in a match, say Angle's gloating in the ring about what happen, Joe's music hits and Joe just beats the living hell out of him until wrestlers/security are able to hold him back enough for Angle to escape and Joe keeps going after Angle until he gets a re-match. Build up to the re-match where Joe actually wins the TNA world title but TNA needs to build it up, not just hot shot it like they did with this angle. Though how does the Karen Angle thing not further the feud? Joe got cheated out of a title(s) win, Joe wants revenage and a re-match, how does that further a feud?

I caved and bought it tonight. I played a Season game and I really enjoyed it. Everything but my passing coverage (partly my fault) felt right.
