I wouldn't call Striker a "well established Raw Jobber" because he really didn't wrestle all that often on Raw. He did a lot of promo's but didn't do to many matches. To call him a jobber, is a bit much, but thats just because he did really NOTHING on Raw. I'm still waiting for Conway to show up on ECW.

I see nothing difficult about learning the SvR2006 controls, at all. You're comparing it to the first Smackdown, which has completely different controls than SvR2006. NOTE: I'm talking about the controls here. How to do the moves. Not the clipping. Not the submission system. Not the stupid mini-games. The actual control-scheme of SvR2006 is fine, IMO. Oh...well I haven't played a Smackdown game since the very first Smackdown game came out. Told you I never picked it up again.

Yeah those aren't in the Bay Area of California.

Wait a sec...KOAB is black?

This is what I'm thinking is going to happen. -Joe beats Jarrett in the non-title fans with strap matches -Jarrett beats Sting and retains his title due to Christian run-in -Joe is number 1 contender since he beat Jarrett and gets the next shot at the next PPV.

Where has Terkay been anyways?
-
May I ask how you did that? Sorry I don't know how to do a lot of things on the computer yet.

I vist this other site and their forums regulary and all of a sudden, I think over the weekend, I'm not able to access the website. I get the "Page can not be displayed" error and I have no idea what is wrong. I know the website and the site's forums are still up because others have told me they can access both the website and the forums but for some reason I can't. Is there any reason why I'm not able to see this website anymore?

"If Double J Wins, We Riot.....With STRAPS~!" You know, I"m really hoping someone whips Don West when he's on screen.

Reasons the SVR games blow: -emphasis of presentation over gameplay I noticed this as well but only with the Raw games at first, then the Smackdown games. Yukes/THQ for some reason has always felt that the graphics is better than actual gameplay. Which is one of the stupidest things in the world.
-
I'm intrested in the kind of match it's in. The fans will get to have straps and will get to whip whoever comes by. That might be worth the price of the PPV alone just to see what might happen.

Becuase everyone who played any of the AKI wrestling games, really LOVED the control sceme. It was simple but yet you could do a lot with it. Anyone could just pick up the controller and start playing the game and the controls were really easy to learn. It was really the best controls for a wrestling game. I remember when I played the first Smackdown, the controls just felt so horrible I never picked it up and played it again.

I was thinking Sabu would interfere in the match, but then its also DX whose in the match. I'm thinking it might be the both of them just destorying Big Show or who knows maybe they'll actually put Show over on DX as the monster that can't be stopped. Either way I'm guessing we might see Vince and/or Shane tonight.

Is the main feature in documentary style? That could be why its clipped, or is the clipping in bonus matches? (Is Morales vs Koloff a bonus match?)

You can't be serious. I am black and I was offended by that whole promo. It was racist and very stupid!! Do you not see (I'm sorry, this is going to sound racist, I'm saying I'm sorry now) black people act that way or dress that way now? How many dumbasses wear a ugly ass "grille" in their mouth? How many dumbasses actually dress and talk that way? I'm sorry but if you don't think black (or any other race) actually dress, talk, or act that way, you really must not get out much. The skit and the team were and are a fucking parody, get a sense of humor and get over it. That entire skit was ment as comedy. You may not have found it funny but it was ment to come across as funny, just like the idea of the tag team. If you find this racist you must find this stuff also racist or sterotypical as well: -Eugene's Retard gimmick -Umaga (It maybe a throw back to the glory days of wrestling but people could find that sterotypical) - The Gangsta's from ECW (Which basically is the same gimmick excpet Cryme Time is a comedy team for right now) -The Little Bastard -Kamala -Bradshaw (Texan who likes to drink, smoke cigars, and fight) - Everyone who has ever done the Sheik gimmick in some form. I'm not going to keep listing other gimmicks, but I think you get where I'm coming from. This is pro wrestling, gimmicks like Cryme Time happen all the time, get used to it or quit watching wrestling. Hell I know two indy wrestlers who basically do the same gimmick but their white. Oh and before I get off the subject, Raw was actually pretty decent tonight. I actually was able to enjoy it tonight.

The roster is really, really dissapointing but apprently there will be a lot of unlockables. Hopefully it'll be more wrestlers.
-
No because the nWo will most likely have Vince on their side again and if it didn't work the first time around, it won't work the 2nd time around.....Well maybe if they did a thing where Eric Bischoff came back and led the nWo attacking the WWE, but yeah that wouldn't turn out right either.

California Bay Area according to pwi, looks like they have deals with 3 indie promotions for weekly TV. Really? What promotions?

I just got to finish watching Smackdown (thanks for the posting the new time Hotbutter.) and I enjoyed the show. The Triple Threat match was fucking great. I can't complain about it at all. It was given the right amount of time and left the window open for a re-match between the 3 or some kind of series of matches. There was nothing wrong with that match. Booker T on the mic while doing the King Booker gimmick is one of the funniest things. Just the way he delivers his statements is awesome. Smackdown is really keeping the line of storytelling (Entertainment, if you will) and wrestling nice and even, unlike Raw which just shoves the entertainment aspect down your throat. All the titles are seeming important now, Smackdown has the tag divison going again, the U.S. title is being booked like a major title that differant people are after (unlike the I.C. title, which really only has 3 guys in that divison.), the World title feud between Booker and Batista has been intresting, and it looks like the Matt Hardy/ Greg Helms feud can bring the cruiserweight title back to some limelight. I'm glad Smackdown has been booked like a wrestling show for the past few months.

I would like to make this statement. I've set foot in a wrestling ring, I've trained in a wrestling ring, I've bumped on the inside and outside of a wrestling ring during shows, and I'm making my debut as a Ref on the 9th and I can honestly say, I rather talk wrestling with Bob Barron and some of the other posters here any day of the week over a lot of other people here, and that includes DRH.
-
California Bay Area I take that back...APW (Roland Alexander) booked him for their next show.
-
Oh I thought that was Barron saying that about DRH.
-
What did the PM say?
-
hehe, i'll make you tap.

Well, the CW here in the Bay Area is again fucking me over and now I can't watch tonights Smackdown. Damnit.
