Last night, I traveled half an hour to go to a friend's birthday party. We're getting drunk and people are getting high and having a good time. About a hour after I get there the apartment complex's securitiy gaurd comes up and looks for the person who is having the party but she's in the bathroom, so I go out to talk to him. I only had a few shots so I was still pretty sober. I go outside and we talk and I guess a neighbor had complained that the noise was to much and the gaurd was suppose to break up the party but decided to just give us a head-ups and to let us know that he wasn't going to break up it but we have to keep it down because if he gets called again he's going to get in trouble for not breaking up the party. So after he leaves, we try our best to keep it down. There were little points where we got a bit loud but it quited right back down. After a few hours more, I'm sitting on a couch under a girl whose tits are getting played with by another girl and we hear another knock on the door. I get up to answer it, I open the door, and its the same gaurd again but this time he's with a cop. I talk to the both of them and the guard tells me this time we have to break it up and the cop tells me that if he has to come up here again, he'll write tickets for people. I go back in and tell everyone, "for those who are not staying the night, you have to leave now." People start packing up and are leaving. I go back outside and talk to the guard who is still outside. I ask him if he's gotten in trouble, he told me he had and I told him just tell your superviser, it was a bunch of kids who were drunk and just didn't leave. He told me he was going to tell him that. As I was saying bye to the guard, I noticed a car pulled up and two people were getting out of it, I didn't think anything of it and went back inside. A few minutes later, the two people who came from the car, came inside the apartment and one of them started yelling at everyone! I realized it was the tweaker roommate. She came in and started yelling "Get the fuck out of me house!" and slammed her purse down on the counter. I tried quieting her down but her friend just told me I didn't want to do that....so I did it again. The roommate kept yelling at everyone and just wouldn't shut her mouth, so no one could tell her everything was being taken care of. She actually called my close friend who had just showed up a bitch and my friend was ready to fuck her up. I told my friend to come on and told the girl who had thrown the party, i'm sorry but I can't stay and listen to this and said bye. Myself and my friend went outside and just hung out for a bit to listen to whats going on. I actually wanted to wait to see if the cop would return again and if he did, I was going to let him know what happen.....even through I was drunk. So after about 10 minutes of being outside (and cold), and after a neighbor came out and went up there and I found out that, that neighbor works for the complex and was going to write them some kind of notice, myself and my friend left. I also got lucky because I drove half an hour home, drunk, and didn't get pulled over or have anything bad happen. Through I will never try to drive home like that again. I'm glad I left because the tweaker roommate would have just ended up pissing me off and she would have been yelling at and threatening me instead of yelling at her roommate. I always say the wrong thing towards people when they upset me. Anyone else got any having to leave a party stories?

We most certainly do not. Booker T was terrible then. I guess he's made some mildly entertaining character improvements on Smackdown (I don't watch the show), but at the time, he was just a generic, boring, midcard face. Having Booker go over HHH that Mania would be like having Carlito go over Edge at SS this year if you made Carlito 12 years older, and if his ring skills had completely gone to shit due to age. However, I do agree that the finisher thing was bullshit. I honestly thought it was about 30 seconds before he made the cover when I watched the show live, and I really expected Booker to kick out. If nothing else, it breaks kayfabe when someone jumps up and slams someone's face into the ground, and then can't even be bothered to roll over for 30 seconds to win the match. Actually he's right, Booker T should have went over. It was planned for him to win the title off HHH at that Wrestlemania but I think within the final week before Wrestlemania it got changed to HHH beating Booker T and retaining.

If it was little by litte, I'll be fine but if WWE just started heavily using MMA styles, it would turn me off. I'm already intrested in MMA but thats only with Pride. I don't know why, I just don't like watching UFC, I just fine Pride more intresting for some reason. With that being said, I really should start ordering the Pride PPV's so I can try to follow it.

Wrestlers using MMA moves or movesets are fine with me. Wrestlers using MMA as a gimmick is fine with me. I just don't want to see a overload of wrestlers either using a MMA gimmick or just about every wrestler using some sort of MMA move. For wrestling, its good for a "oh-ah" kind of spot or a "This guy is a serious fighter or technichen in the ring." (very bad spelling, I know, I'm sorry). I like stuff from the MMA but I just don't want to see it over used in wrestling.

The Sandman and Dreamer will always be put in important matches to make the match more credible but will always job to make the other guys look good. At least that is what it seems like Vince is doing right now. No, the reason Dreamer and Sandman lost last night was so the feud continue. To blow the feud off now, would have been way to soon. It has nothing to do with Vince just randomly jobbing the both of them out. don't be so sure. i mean, i agree with you, but this is Vince McMahon we're talking about. Your right, it is Vince Mcmahon but I do think last night was just a good example of good booking. That doesn't mean that could change down the road, but the match last night with Dreamer and Sandman was just good booking.

Yes a extra hour will be good for TNA and I don't think TNA will run from 11 to 1. The timeslot will most likely be changed to 10 to 12.

I thought the show was decent tonight. The first half hour was great.....the second half hour not so great. The show started out right with the Sandman/Dreamer vs Knox/Test match and the ending of the match was good booking. The feud between the 4 needs to continue for awhile longer and having the blow off to the feud now would have been bad booking. I also thought that Knox should have taken the barb wire, he really REALLY needs to do something to help him get somewhat over with the fans a bit. CM Punk's debut match: Good wrestling match. Justin Credible did get a good amount of offense in but I'm completely fine with that. It felt like a ECW competitive match and thats what I liked about it. The fact that Credible is starting to look better and better in every match he's been in is a plus and the fact Punk debuted in front of the right crowd and it seems he will be heavily promoted as THE rising star of ECW is great as well. So far the bookers have done everything right with Punk, hopefully they can keep it up. I also liked the fact the camera's stayed on Punk after the match and we got to see his little celebration. Kurt Angle vs Brooklyn Brawler: I'm fine with this squash match and hey using the Brawler and just letting Angle squash him makes more sense than just using someone on the ECW roster. Espically since people on the ECW roster needs to stop being squashed. Vampire has a name: I don't know why Fertig had is in-ring debut last week and this week we learned his name through a promo. We could have learned his name two weeks ago, he could have his in-ring debut last week, and we could have just another promo for tonight. Random Question: Was I the only one not looking at Ariel's face when she came onto the screen? Big Show vs Batista: Someone booked themselves in a corner having this match. I guess Batista was just used as a ratings draw here but (like most of you have already said) this match shouldn't have taken place. Seriously this is a WWE match all over it. It would have been fine for a Smackdown or Raw main event but not as a ECW main event...espically at the ballroom of all places. Maybe if it was a extreme rules match, it could have been better and the fans wouldn't have shitted all over it but since it wasn't, much wasn't going to happen here. The finish was what I was expecting and the only good thing of match is that after it ended, the Big Show vs Sabu storyline progressed some more. Like I said the first half of the show was great, the second half....not so much. I'm glad it was another wrestling themed show but I'm not happy that we really got nothing to expect or look forward for, for next week.

Just posted this in the RAW thread. Very funny mistake.

So ummm Raw just started on the west coast.....and it just ended within 4 minutes of airing. I shit you not. Now for some reason HBK's opening promo from last week is on. Edit: After 2 minutes of HBK's opening promo from last week, tonight's broadcast came back with HBK and HHH interupting Vince and Shane.

Speaking of GameFAQs, Final Fantasy vs Zelda tomorrow in the series battle. Fun! Heh. I forgot I signed up to do that, my score for that is 43. I have no idea where that really puts me though.
