Just curious.....did anyone think the finish for the main event was bad booking? Cena just got hit with the Van-damniator, which has been sold as a KO type of move for years, then all of a sudden, Cena rolls out of the 5-star frog splash, gets up and sets up RVD for the FU then hits it. I don't know about you guys, but the set up for the finish was just a good example of bad booking.

I think its a 50/50 thing on why RVD lost the title tonight. Yes, I'm sure it was because RVD got caught with weed and painkillers...Vicodin none the less. Anyways I also think RVD lost the title tonight for promotional reasons. Since tomorrow is the 4th of July, it might get people to tune in to a title vs title match.....but can someone please tell me why the tag match turned into SNME's main event? Either way you look at it, tomorrow night will be a intresting night.

Suuure, only if they intend on Cancelling ECW after this Tuesday's show. Imagine RVD and Sabu showing up to TNA, there would go any chance of the "ECW" brand drawing away fans from TNA. Technically they would both have to wait till 90 days is up.

Wait I'm confused, I haven't seen tonights Raw yet so please don't ruin it for me...but when was the main event changed to WWE championship on the line? I thought it was a tag match tonight? edit- Nevermind, just saw the opening segment and I was looking forward to that tag match.

So since the show starts in 5 minutes for those on the East Coast, I figured I bumped this up.

Not only that but Brian Lawler had a hell of a lot more than just weed and a few painkiller pills.

Anyone think WWE's reaction will just be a fine and they'll be done with it?

Odds are, nothing will happen to RVD and Sabu. If anything they'll just be fined and they'll pay it off. I can remember correctly, when WWE started enforcing the drug test, I believe if anyone got caught with weed in their system, WWE wouldn't have done anything. I can't remember where I read that, but I think it was posted somewhere on these boards...I think. As far as the painkillers go....Vicodin? Thats nothing compared to a lot of stronger pills that are out there. I'm sure if Sabu had stronger pills, something worse would have happen. Besides, it well known RVD smokes pot, who didn't know that?

If you follow the Frontline comics, the story of Speedball keeps going. I read the Frontilne comics before I got to read Civil War 1 and at first, I felt bad for Speedball because EVERYONE that came in contact with him is kicking his ass, then I read Civil War 1 and now...I really don't feel bad for him.

I was thinking they might do the "DX invades WCW" thing again.

That just made no sense, her contract expires in Aug but because she's getting married in Sept. so she might leave the WWE becuase of that? Yes its a possiblity, buts its a weak one.

Some fat kid who decided to make a video on youtube about wrestling and called it a shoot. His videos are posted in the youtube thread on page 14, though its really hard to sit and watch it all.

I didn't like that either. Its really to much dialouge to keep me intrested. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind reading long dialouge at all, but I like long dialouge when it keeps me intrested in whats going on. The side bar stuff at the end of the Frontline comics just bore me.

Gunner's jobbed for the past couple of weeks because he's being shipped back to OVW for some stupid fucking reason. I'll bet you 5 bucks that its becuse the writers couldn't come up with some chessy gimmick for him. On the bright side, he can now stop using the stupid "Gunner Scott" name.

It would be good for the tag divison that Heyman wants to put together.

So after looking at the stats for the week so far, I realized that Sabu got screwed out of a lot of points. Sabu didn't get points for being in a Extreme Rules match, which was once considered as a speicality match when the matches started happening but I guess now they are not. He got no points for any of the weapon shots that took place during the match and even though he hit two of his singature moves three times, he only got points for one of them. Sabu hit the Arabian facebuster once, and locked the Camel Clutch in twice, but only got points for one of those moves. Roadkill would have got screwed out of some points as well. I worte them asking about that, I also asked why Extreme rule matches are not counted as speicality matches anymore and why object shots don't count in extreme rule matches since they are just regular matches now. I also took a little shot at them as well. I put down "You guys can't raise the salary cap during the season but you guys sure can change the scoring rules around in the middle of the season can't you? That makes a lot of sense doesn't it?"

Those sound like good cards. A Dreamer vs Test feud? I'll wait till it panels out before I judge it.

Really? The Wolverine thing's pretty lame. I don't know what Marvel's obsession with making all their mutants ultra powerful these days. The Nitro thing's kinda interesting. Yeah I don't get that either, and it really wasn't out of the blue either. This is basically how it panels out. It is a fun story though. I still need to get the issue before this one.

Is anyone else reading the Civil War tie-in's? I've only picked up the frontline, Spiderman, and part of the Wolverine series, and those three tie-in's are pretty good. Frontline right now covers 3 differant stories, the first story is about two reporters who work for the Bugle and are going to follow the Civil War. The 2nd story is about Speedball after he is found. The what happens to Speedball is pretty intresting. The 3rd story of frontline is basically about the first sign of the Civil War. The new Spiderman comic details what happens after Peter revels himself as Spiderman. Details/spoilers in yellow. In the Wolverine tie-in, he's hunting down Nitro and he's found him in the latest comic.

I wouldn't say ECW right now becuase its only been 3 weeks, but the past two ECW shows have been better than the last two Raw shows. As far as the tag titles go, WWE hasn't pushed a good tag divison since it had the Natural Disaters, Money INC, LOD, and a few others in it. I wouldn't say that. The Dudleyz, Edge and Christian, and the Hardy's putting on great matches with each other, during their hey days as tag teams in the WWE. So you want to compare a tag divison that only had 3 teams in it to the one that I was talking about that had more than that? Alrighty then.
