The Halo 2 online update is finally be released on Monday, April 18th (A mere few days before Wrestlemania 21, damnit!) and here are a few things to give you a better idea what is being updated. Other than the cheats, glitches, bugs being fixed. The update will also change what weapon damage is caused, here's some details..... This is all from Bungie.net A few more tidbits: -The leaderboards will be resetted, they figure since its a new online experiance, they should make it the same feel. -Lag will be pretty bad for a few days after the update is released, but after a couple of days, the problem of lag will not be so present -Turf and Terminal are both earth based levels. -The very first E3 Demo we saw, is still around and even playable but has to many issues/bugs to be released. Lets just hope everything works out good now and whole multiplayer experiance changes.

I wouldn't call it Mac-ish since it also lays down on its side. Microsoft wanted it to lay flat and stand up since the PS2 was able to. I don't blame Microsoft going with this design, if this really is the design, since people were bitching so much that the Xbox was to big, blocky, and heavy.....but then again, I always liked the fact tha I could hit someone in the back of the head with my Xbox and knock them out with it.

People who don't shut the fuck up during movies
Scroby replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Chat
This is when you just wanna get up and start slapping the piss outta people and telling them "he can't hear you!". I have a few stories. Me and about 5 other friends went to go see Blade 2 opening weekend. The place was pretty much sold out, so we had to sit in the front row, which pretty much pissed us all off. So right before the movie starts, the second row was pretty much empty, but right before the movie starts up, about 8 kids take up the seats and they WON'T SHUT THE FUCK UP! The entire time of the movie, they were just talking. At one part of the movie, a line was said and the kids didn't hear it because they wouldn't shut the fuck up. So a couple of them asked "What did he say?" and myself and two other guys said it back to them in a pist off voice...they didn't say much more for the rest of the movie afterwards. Another time, me and the guys went to Austin Powers 3 and I think thats the one where Zeus appers, you know the big black blad guy who was a wrestler for a minute. So me and one of my friends had to sit away from my other friends a few rows back cause the place was pretty packed and me and my other friend, whose a wrestling fan, yelled out "Zeus!" at the same time. A few of us found that funny. The last time anything happened, was when I saw Kung Fu Hustle and both these times happen from people sitting in the same row as me. This one dude, kept getting phone calls during previews, now I didn't mind the fact it was during the previews cause to me, thats when its time to start getting settled in. My main problem was the fact he was telling the person on the phone if he kept calling him, he was going to go and beat his ass and other crap. Which I found funny as this was happening because this guy was like 5 foot nothing and just acting hard. You could easily tell he was one of those guys who just try to act hard but when it comes down to it, he'll back off or get someone else. I was half hoping he wasn't going to get more of those calls during the movie itself but I kinda was hoping he would, just so I could laugh at his ass. Then during the movie, at the other end of the row, these two mother fuckers decided to give play by play commentary for the movie. Everytime a fight scene happen "Oh he just dropped kicked the shit outta him dawg", "Holy Shit he punched a whole right in his grill!". They just wouldn't shut up, I didn't want to say anything through cause I'm sure my friends wouldn't have backed me up and it turns out all 3 of them were actually friends. Just the guy who was trying to act hard over the phone was sitting a couple of seats away from him. -
Awesome.

One Night Stand To Receive Little Promotion by WWE

Seriously? At those prices WWE will be very lucky if anyone shows up. I mean a ringside seat at a regular WWE event is just barely over 100 dollars. -
So were all in agreement? Eddie and Ray made Smackdown a good show tonight?
-
That is a good question since we've been seeing a lot more than normally. This could be a good sign for the Crusierweights since maybe we can see them doing a lot more spots.

I'm all for Gangrel coming back, but I don't want him on Raw he'd just end up lost on Heat. If anything I think Gangrel would be better on Smackdown and have more of a chance for Smackdown tv time, than he would being on Raw.

Thats funny, the game was street dated for the 5th of May. I wonder if anyone reported that EB for selling the game a day eariler than suppose to.

...I miss my 16 from the Big Team Battle games, now its a 1. I got it up to a 3 today but then after I won a game it went back down to 1. Seriously how fucked up is that!? But now I'm a 6 on Rumple Pit...again, I was a 12.

*grabs flik's wrist, gives it a slap* BAD FLIK, BAD!

Holy shit am I late on this topic or what? Sorry people, I didn't even want to look at the lists becaue I had a feeling they were gonna be pretty bad. But anyways, I'm looking forward to your choices for the Top 30, I would ask to get in on it but I don't play any RPG games except Legend of Dragoon and Super Mario RPG (that was a fun game) and I would choose games I had/have the most fun while growing up and recently and I didn't/don't play that many games that were only released for Sony systems But if I could make a few suggestions... -Contra -Maniac Mansion -Super Mario RPG (through I may get a backlash on this) -Conker's Bad Fur Day (Very fun, frustrating, mindless killing, and puzzle solving game) -Tetris -Doom -Halo -Grand Theft Auto 3 -Super Mario 64 -Final Fight (not groundbreaking but I had fun with this game) -Zelda: Ocarina (sp?) of Time - Zelda: Link To The Past (Best Zelda game) -Pit Figher (j/k) - Ghost and Goblins.... I completely agree with you about this, the baddies basically all rushed you and took a lot of damage, remember the fuckers with the tatto hearts on their arm...yeah they weren't fucking around. -Castlevania - Goldeneye and I'm basically tapped out on games right now. Good Luck on making that list guys, I look forward to seeing it.

Ahhh fuck, WWE really wanted to try and keep Carlito outta the ring, didn't they?

Last night I watched Cold Case for the first time on CBS last night, mainly because it was doing something on the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and for the first time seeing it, the show really impressed me. For those who haven't seen the show, basically the show is about cases that weren't solved being re-opened so they can get solved. So anyways, the story of this episode is that a serial killer is about to be released but the detectives wanna see if this unsolved murder tyes in with him. The murder was of this doorman who attend the RHPS with one of the cast members who were both planning on leaving for New York that night, but for some reason the doorman was killed before he could make his train and these events happen in the 70's. So their interviewing everyone who was involved, the serial killer, his aunt, the woman who attended the show, and other people who just knew the killer and the doorman. Well everytime they interview a different person, the show cuts to a event that happen in a flashback but the cool thing about this, is the fact that a musical number from Rocky is being played in the backround and the cool thing is the fact that each song fits into the event that is being shown, which I thought was pretty awesome. At the end of this, after everything is solved, the song "there's a light" plays and it shows everyone nvolved with the case, basically at peace and going on with their lives and for the ending credits they did the same credits thats at the end of the Rocky movie. I just thought this show did a really good job tying a movie theme into a detective show. If anyone gets a chance to see it, I highly recommand it. It really impressed me. Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

Re-signing Matt Hardy and feuding him and Edge
Scroby replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah I understand the fact that this whole thing blew up in the faces of the WWE, but honestly thats not the WWE's fault. Nore is it Lita's or Edge's, it's Matt's and I say that because he went out to the general public and he let them in on what was going on. Honestly, I understand where Matt was coming from, but it was a mistake to go that way. Instead of keeping his personal life and buissness life private, he went public, before even being released. Instead of just shutting up about it and settling down and trying to fix it privately he opened his mouth and when he told his readers about it the very first time, Matt basically dug his grave. Everyone knows when it comes to WWE, they want stuff like this to be quiet till cooler heads have prevailed. If anything, he had the time to cool off and he seriously just could have moved on with his life, he could have sat down with both Lita and Edge and could have came to some kind of buissness understanding. Unless he's got that big of a emotional attachment problem. But I will say this...that whole thing Trish did about "The Curse of Lita" was damn correct. -
Its sorta hard for me to make a prediction prior to the draft right now. I want to say Christian but knowing WWE they're just using him to promote the draft and will end up leaving him on Raw just because WWE are idiots when it comes to making a good descision on something. I don't want to say Carlito just because he isn't good in the ring, not saying Cena's great but he's at least decent. Carlito is good on the mic but horrible in the ring everytime I see him wrestle. WWE should just give him a manager role and let him get in the ring every once in awhile. I mean the guy hasn't really been in the ring all that much since his debute or has had that many long matches. All his matches has been extremely short or it just didn't end up happing. I guess I'll go ahead and throw out Eddy's name if the heel turn works.

First new Family Guy episode leaked
Scroby replied to Zetterberg is God's topic in Television & Film
I'm so glad Family Guy is back on.....AGAIN! Seriously through, I was cracking up for most of the entire show. But I think Fox should move American Dad to a different timeslot. Having it behind Family Guy might be the wrong idea. I just really didn't find A.D. that funny as I found Family Guy to be. -
Re-signing Matt Hardy and feuding him and Edge
Scroby replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm sorry to sound like a prick about this but seriously why do people still care about this? I mean I undertsand peole think it was really fucked up what happen and all but still, its sorta becoming old news and people are just making topics that were already said or applyed in the thread that was put up when the news first broke out about Matt and Lita breaking up. Whats the point about starting the same discussions over? Sorry, I'm just tired of seeing the same crap about this over and over again. -
Did anyone get the Pillman vibe while watching Candido with the titles?

One Night Stand To Receive Little Promotion by WWE
Scroby replied to Dimensions's topic in The WWE Folder
Hopefully around this time, the WWE will be running shows in the areas that ECW was most famous for being in and they'll do promotions for the PPV at the time. You know a good way to help promote this would say someone who was in ECW is in ring and right after his music cuts off that weird sound that the WWE puts out whenever the Undertaker is going to cut a titantron promo is heard and Heyman comes and he starts talking about how the PPV is going to take palce at the ballroom on this date (sorry forgot what the date is.) and if that wrestler was still extreme, he should show up there, then the picture cuts out. I think I could help out very well. -

Scroby replied to Matt Young's topic in Video Games
I think its mainly the fact that the new Xbox game is coming out in a few months, so people may want to play the N64 version first since its basically the same game. I for one tell those people who are over the age of 16 who are looking for a N64 game to get Bad Fur Day cause it was a really good damn N64 game. Its a cult classic! But yeah if anyone is looking for some games, we can work something out for a small fee. I won't rip you guys off or anything, I wouldn't like it if someone did it to me so I won't do it to you. I say we could it something like this. You pay for 3 for 15 deal shipping and maybe 10 extra dollars on my behalf for picking these up for you guys and shipping them. I'll help you guys and remember if you want, Gamecrazy's also do 6 for $30 and 9 for $45. If you still wanna do one of those, we'll still leave my fee at 10 bucks.
