Even through I do work for a gamestore I still had my dates very fucked up. I knew about the 18th and the 20th, but the 18th is a Friday, and the only game that released on a Friday that I know of recently was Tekken 5 and the 20th is a Monday and Doom was the last game I can think of that came out on a Monday. So I'm guessing it'll be the 21st or the 22nd. If there's a April 20th date, that would most likely being the shipping date of the game and not the instore date. I'm thinking maybe the instore date if anything will be the 21st.

You know I still need a release date answer.

You know what needs to happen, someone just needs to give Vince a big slap in the face for hiring these writers that have no idea what a baic lock up is then slap him again for giving Stephanie full control. Ever since Russo, Vince keeps thinking that he's going to hit gold with another "hollywood writer". Now I'm not sure we can count Russo as a hollywood writer, even through he did work in a video store, but Vince needs to realize he needs more wrestling minds then soap opera.

Quick Question: Does the game come out next week or in two weeks? I have the dates really messed up.

Seriously...I give up. How the hell, seriously what the hell do you think when you wanna bring in someone to make a speech, and the first guy that pops in your mind is the Ultimate Warrior, what process goes on in someone's head and why the fuck would you wanna bring someone that legally changed his name to Warrior? I guess its press but seriously...the ultimate fucking warrior, thats just asking for some stupid nonsense to happen. Now what I wanna know, how did he show up. Was he wearing his wrestilng gear? Was he all sorta dressed up with his face paint on?

I have a feeling if there is one, it might be annouced tonight on Raw or within a few weeks, but I'm just guessing at this moment.
-
Yes and I hope you can't take down the Big Show that easily in the game. Is there a weight system in place?
-
Thank you A.I.S. I can't wait!

Sorry to turn the subject but yeah, I gotta make a few points on this..... 1. Piper turning on Austin in favor for Hassan would be stupid and pointless since Hassan already had a major, plus it would make no sense. Unless they run some stupid jealously angle with Piper saying he didn't like the fact Austin was getting more press than Piper. 2. 2 minutes into the "beer bash" Austin would stun Hogan so it'd be pointless, then again Austin has to stun everyone he ever comes across, so don't be surprised if it happens to Piper. Ok now on to the ironman match, wrestling wise it was boring since Bret and Shawn paced themselves trading holds for really the first 30 minutes. Story telling wise, the match was done very nicely. The whole story going into this other than the fact Bret and Shawn hated each other with a passion was the fact both men had to prepare themselves mentally and train themselves hard for the match. So we saw all these clips of both guys working out, running up stairs, running up hills, etc, etc, etc... So we come to the match, if both guys started going into the match balls out or having to do a lot of spots, basically the match would have sucked. The whole rest hold part of the match was to tell that each guy was trying to wear the other down for the match. Psycology wise, thats how the match should have been done, it should have been rest holds from the start for a slow pace and worked its way to a more faster pace as the match went on. Of course to the casual fan, the casual fan will lose interest in the match because not enough ohhh and awwing is happing for the match, but then the match wasn't ment to be this exciting fast pace wrestling match, it should have been a classic slow paced wrestling match.

I wouldn't look into to much, Storm always talks about he doesn't wanna come back and enjoys his current job with the company. If anything he wants to do the ECW show as his last match.

That was the year Lesner won the tournament right? I can't remember. I find it funny that they blame the main event for the low buyrate and not the tournament itself, so since two wrestlers can't pull in a decent buyrate, they stop the actual tournament which should be the show itself.
-
If anything it should be the other interbrand match ppv. Why it was cancelled I have no clue, I always found it to be a good idea until they started doing nothing with the winner of the tournaments.

That sound you hear is the PS2 screeching

So when did Immersion start making the controllers, none the less start using them? -
Exslade, I was on that same boat, I didn't like any of the Resident Evil games until I played 4. Resident Evil 4 is a very good game and made me a fan. Just check it out if you can, just rent it....go on, rent it! As for the PSP itself, I have already heard one problem. A kid bought from where I work and supposely the screen goes black for a few seconds after he turns it on. I told him to try chargeing it and if it doesn't work contact Sony and apprently someone already traded in Metal Gear Acid. I'm not sure why, I had Friday off so I don't know if its a bad game or maybe he thought it'd be differant but sure enough, he traded it in.

Were going to get 4 new maps in April, two will be for free while the other two will cost some money. There suppose to be released soon after the giltch fixing update is up and able to download ( ) . The 4 are called.... CONTAINMENT A massive, mostly outdoor, and somewhat symmetrical environment set in the frozen tundra near Sentinel Wall, on Delta Halo. The icy terrain is a walled valley floor, scarred by a massive trench, running between two enormous Forerunner compounds. Each of these structures acts as a base, and each base is itself large enough to drive a vehicle around in. The bases contain a heavily fortified flag capture point which presents a tough challenge for an unorganized offense. To even the odds, it's possible to open vehicle access to these bases by activating a switch - exposed to sniper fire in the center of the map. Above this switch is the teleport exit for each base. The rapid access enabled using teleporters and vehicles means that while this is by far one of the largest Halo maps ever, it's also one with a large number of transit options, on foot or in vehicles. Caves, ridges and tunnels provide stealthy entrance to enemy bases, while the jagged central trench is a great spot to take cover. Above, the exposed, icy fields are littered with the most explosive cores in the game. Default vehicles include Hogs, Scorpion tanks and Banshees. Containment was built from the ground up, with large scale objective games in mind, especially CTF. If you like Coagulation, and were a fan of Sidewinder, you'll love Containment! WARLOCK Set in the rain-soaked ruins of an ancient Forerunner structure, nobody knows if Warlock is a temple, a castle or even a dwelling. What we do know is that the architecture predates the Halo itself, and that it must have been moved here, brick by brick, with obvious reverence by the Forerunners themselves. A small to medium sized map, Warlock is ideal for close-quarters fights, Slayer matches and thanks to its four way symmetry, multi-team Territories battles. Warlock's mix of obstacles and open areas makes it a perfect spot for more chaotic matches like Rockets. Sharp-eyed players may note its resemblance to the map Wizard, although it has been rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of Halo 2's new graphics and gameplay features. Warlock is filled with nooks, crannies and other hiding places, and while the ground is a warren of obstacles, it's possible to reach any other point in the map by taking the high road - a series of platforms and ramps that stretch across the map, with a temple-like center structure dominating the arena. Teleporters dot the walls allowing you to evade pursuing enemies, or take instant shortcuts across the map. TURF The surrounding streets and evacuated buildings of Old Mombasa make it a dangerous warren, with potential assassins lurking in every shadow and around every corner. Dusty storefronts hide mazelike interiors, and narrow walkways above street level make this shadowy part of town a sniper's haven. Although it was designed primarily with Territories and CTF in mind, Turf's wildly varying situations - open streets, large buildings, narrow passageways - mean that it's surprisingly flexible. In spite of its size and complexity, the level even works well as a cat and mouse one-on-one map. Although the tight alleys and streets are initially confusing, there are plenty of vital landmarks - a downed Covenant Scarab, a makeshift Human military base and a massive warehouse, complete with huge swinging doors. Players can knock down catwalks to control ledges above the streets, and a well-parked Warthog can lay down covering fire for the team quick enough to grab it. And the last one for right now is called: SANCTUARY A walled grotto defines the center point of this Forerunner habitat, from which aqueducts span out, like the hands of a clock. It perfectly obscures a clear line of sight between two more robust temple buildings primarily used as Flag capture bases. The map was designed to be perfectly symmetrical and used for smaller, team based objective games, like CTF and Assault, but its size and layout also make it a perfect spot for Slayer matches and slightly more frenetic types like Territories and Oddball. The tunnels at the sides and the open areas in front of the bases make for frantic firefights and nerve-wracking chases. Stop for a moment to admire the scenery and you'll see a complicated system of waterfalls, canals and pools. Splashing water and the chirp of birds help define the sound scheme of this otherwise peaceful environment. If you wanna be really lazy and wait, all the maps will become free by late summer for download on Xbox live. For those who don't have Xbox live and want the maps, retailers will be selling a expansion disc for 19.99 which will include all 9 maps. So you can use the maps for regular multiplayer games or Lan games if you would like to do so. The other 5 maps are named Terminal, Relic, Elongation, Gemini and Backwash. There's no real big info on these 5 maps at the moment but if you do wanna see pictures of the first 4 maps, there over at Bungie.net in the first article thats called weekly update special edition. For those wondering how playmatching is going to work, Bungie are still working out the details but the idea for right now is, there will be a certain matchmaking you can do so nothing gets all mixed up. The map update should come after the maps are released and a new mode will be added as well, 2 vs 2, my guess is a lot of slayer. Thats all the info I could really gather from Bungie.net at the moment, if anyone wants to see the pictures or anything for themselves, check bungie.net and they'll be an article you can click.

I sware if we get one "save Africa" game.
-
Their might be one more parody. Supposely there's a Steve Austin/Gladiator (sp?)coming soon.

As long as there not ruined by the people singing the songs, I won't be to worried. I know my store will have this on display and you have no idea how annoying each song can get. The only song I could really stand off that last one was the swing song, I forget the actual title but its the one that used to be used for the chips ahoy commericals.

I don't know who I'd rather have champion, Jarrett or DDP. If anything I'd go with Jarrett just because DDP didn't earn a shot at the championship and it wouldn't lowered morale in the locker room if DDP won the belt since he's only been there for what 2 months? The only thing I don't like about TNA right now is the fact that only the bigger stars who just show up are getting shots at the title, like Hardy, Nash, or DDP instead of the guys who have been around awhile and aren't getting their shots to chase the title. I wouldn't be surprised if Syxx pac is next to get a shot at the title.

That used to happen to both my arms for awhile, everytime that happen, I'd get up outta bed, stand up and twist my upper body so I can arms could just frail around....it was fun.

The game is good but I'm not liking the Online play all that much. I don't like the fact that in a ranked game (on the xbox), you can't use the pure baseball mode. I hate that "tap the A button to automatically get a homerun" thing. It takes away from the actual game, plus I don't like how someone can take a pitcher and keep using a knuckleball the entire game or some other special pitch and the pitcher won't get fucked up, even through if you hit a knuckleball with a power swing it will go out of the park, it still pists me off the game is like that online.
-
I'd be so on a Maniac Mansion if a re-make was done. That game was so awesome back in the day.
-
Trust me, I know. I've sold a Sony system to a lot of them.....MORE THAN ONCE!
-
But, the retailer did sell the games with the actual systems, pretty much. Because more then likely the people who bought the games early, will come back and get the system. So it's a win/win situation. Depends on the retailer. They may only get pre-orders PSP for a little while. So say all the games sell before the actual systems come out, and lets say a high percentage of the pre-order customers didn't get any of the games? That could fuck up that stores sale margin seeing how they could get more items per trans. and make more of a gross income selling more items at one time, plus you get unhappy customers because they just spent $250.00 plus tax on a system and have no games to play.
