24 Hour Jack In The Box Drive-thru's that decide to close for a little while but neglect to put a sign up saying that they are closed. This has happen twice to me in the past two weeks. Two Fridays ago, I was driving home really late and wanted to pick up a quick breakfast. I pull into the parking lot and there are two signs that advertise that the drive-thru is open. A window graphic that says "open 24 hours Thursday, Friday, and Saturday." and a neon light that reads "Drive-Thru open". I pull up to the box..."Sorry we're closed." "You're closed?" "Yeah are machines are down and won't be up for 30 minutes." I just drove away. Last Saturday night/ Sunday morning, I go back to the same Jack in the Box. This time the same thing, the window graphic is up, the neon sign is lit up, and there's even two workers outside smoking cigarette. I pull up to the box..."sorry we're closed." "What do you mean your closed?" "Our (something) is down and we can't take orders." "Then why do you have signs that advertise that your drive-thru is open?" "Our (something) is down and won't be back up for 30 minutes." "Ok, I'm just gonna come back later and talk to a manger because you guys used this lame excuse last week as well." "I'm sorry sir, but our (something) is down and we can't take orders until it comes back up. It's like this at every Jack in the Box." Which is a load of crap. "Turn off your fucking "we're open" signs, Jackass." and I ended up driving away at this point. I drive to another Jack in the Box in another city, maybe about 10 minutes away but 10 minutes out of my way, and of course they're open and got a long line going into the parking lot. I also know that another Jack in the Box near where I used to live (I just moved to another city) is open because I would go there during the same time frame and they'd be open as well. I wouldn't have been pissed off if the neon sign wasn't lit up and there was a sign on the box that read "sorry we're closed till such time." but nope, instead they have signs turned on that advertise they are open. Complete and under bullshit.

I'm wondering if the reason will be that AJ and Joe are TNA or someting like that, or maybe Jarrett thinks the guys who already had their time need to push over and let the younger guys step up.

Given the manner Joe has been booked, if he claims Jeff Jarrett is 'for sure' showing up the PPV, then nobody would buy it, so it probably does something for Joe that, for once, he's shown to have some kind clue. Jeff is still going to get a big pop for doing whatever he's going to do at the PPV. The problem I have is that the "We haven't seen Jarrett in months" aspect has been removed, because we just saw him on Impact. It doesn't matter that it was for two seconds. They could have easily done something to make it clear Jarrett would be at the PPV without having him show up at all. They could just have done the deal where we hear Jarrett's voice over the PA, saying a few words about how he's going to be at the PPV and things will be made clear about where he stands. You get the assurance of his first appearance in months at the PPV, while saving that first appearance for when it will mean the most. It's a tit for tat issue.....having him on the PA saying he would be at the ppv is essentially the same as him doing the two second stage shot to lead into the ppv, both are guaranteeing he will be on the ppv and its no swerve. Ultimately, if people are that into Jarrett, they are going to get the ppv to see what hes going to do, not just simply to see him and how feathered his hair has gotten. He's not THAT big of a draw as to where people are just waiting on baited breath to see him that first initial time in person. And realistically, even if he was, ultimately what the small deal on Impact was, was just a tease and a way for people to get the ppv. I dont think anyone, after seeing him show up on Impact, are going to say, "Oh fuck it, I was going to get the ppv to check out what Jarrett was going to do, but fuck it since he already showed up". The thing is still that there is still the question of what is up with him and what role he will play upon the return here. That's the selling point. I agree 100% with RedJed here. Jarrett just showing up for 2 seconds is just a way to really hype the PPV, and it doesn't hurt anything and it's more impactful than say showing a promo or just someone claiming Jarret is showing up. TNA actually went the smart route with this and is just going to show that Jarrett's presence actually exists and Jarrett isn't going out and attacking anyone or trying to get involved in an fight with someone before the ppv. Now I could see your point HTQ if say, Jarrett all of a sudden ran in and started fighting with someone or if he had a match before the PPV, then yeah TNA would have dropped the ball and dropped it hard, but TNA just showing Jarrett's presence for a few short seconds is the smartest thing they can do right before a PPV.

See...that's one of the reasons why I hate internet wrestling reporters, shit like that. By the way, the show was really good. Good wrestling matches from start to finish.

You know, I really want Nightcourt Season 2 to come out. I'm surprised after all this time that season 1 released, Warner Bros still hasn't released season 2.

I agree with you 100% and am cleaning it up now. I actually made a mistake and didn't realize that ECW was taped on Monday. I just thought the F4W was posting speculation again and people were buying into it.

I know Venkman is gonna get on me for this but the wrestlers involved in the match isn't official yet. I would wait until ECW airs or WWE actually announces who is in the match before we start wondering why so and so wrestler is in the match and why so and so wrestler isn't in the match.

I liked Primo's match, even though I don't get why he did the cartwheel and jumped in the air only to see nothing come out of it, but he didn't look to bad, but I also got the generic FCW (or OVW) wrestler to hit a WWE ring feeling from him as well. Hopefully that'll change soon.

No...odds are, you're right Bob. I don't want to bury Modest as I've gotten to work with him before and he was really great to work with, but the assumption that he pist off one of the promoters is probably right. I hope it's not but it might be.

Not only that, but Jimmy Hart created a lot of the enterance song for wrestlers and since Jimmy Hart has zero to do with the WWE nowadays except for showing up randomly every once in a great while, the WWE doesn't use his music. If they hired him for something, I'm sure he would allow them to use his music without having to pay to much but since he doesn't work for the WWE, I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy wants a lot of money.

Both Sub-Zero and The Joker looked great in the game. Superman...not so much. Looked kinda like a sluggish fighter.

Not only that but Primo won with the top-rope "The WWE taught me how to do a top rope cross body and it's now my finisher!" crossbody.
