    E3 2008

I really don't know what people are upset about when it came to Nintendo. Was Nintendo suppose to annouce something major? Pretty much all of their major titles have already came out. Zelda, Mario, Mario Party, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., and they annouced that Animal Crossings is coming out later this year. So all of Nintendo's first party major titles have pretty much annouced. So what were people expecting? Nintendo had really no news to annouce, games or hardware. So what were people expecting for Nintendo to come out with?

    The Mike Levy Incident

Hmmm so either he ran his mouth off and was made an example out of..or just got his ass beat for running his mouth or did something to piss them off. Or...it's just a work. Though I don't see a reason for it if it's just a work. Does Mickie and Ian tag team or something?

    The Mike Levy Incident

Was this his first match for IWA MS? Also does anyone know if he's actually worked for any other known promotion? I saw some of his stuff in the videos on youtube but it all seemed very backyardish. I wonder if he's a backyarder Ian picked up to make an example out of.

Does WWE have to many titles?

Whoops fuck, I think people would buy less pay per views if the top titles weren't always defended.

Does WWE have to many titles?

I just couldn't see a pay-per-view not having the World, WWE, and ECW titles defended on it. That'd be weird and I don't think people would buy less PPVs if the top titles weren't defended. (The ECW title in my opinon is a top title, no you won't change my mind.)

Oh! I read it as "She was forced to be the top diva on Smackdown" not her being forced on us as the top Smackdown diva. My mistake.

A discussion on what goes where

It wasn't Snitsky's fault so there's really no disussion to be had on that one. (sorry I couldn't resisit) Chris did however bring something up that I think would cause a problem as well and that's with the people who copy and paste every little news bit they find or think they've found something and make a topic out of it. I think if the WWE folder goes back to having people make dozens of tiny threads, then we're going to get a lot of people making new threads just for finding random news facts. A lot of it probably pretty pointless and I could see the same problem we'd had with the CTDWAT thread and that's people not paying enough attention to something that already had been posted and another new thread is created. Granted a mod would close it and get rid of it, but I could just see that happening a lot. I like Oldskool's idea about making threads that warrant a certain kind of discussion but be real specific when it comes to what is discussed in those thread so there's not a lot of random confusing discussion in those threads. Have a News thread, have a "What do you think about...." thread, have a title belt thread where people talk about champions and various title belts. Something along those lines. The other idea I had on what might help a bit is getting rid of "Random thoughts" but keeping the "News you can barely use" thread. I think the "Random Thoughts" thread might be holding people back from making new threads because when they see "random thoughts" they might automatically think to post whatever they wanted to post in there instead of just making a new thread about it. If we keep the "News you can barely use" thread then it should (just my opinon) be used just for the minor small stories no one is really going to care about. While the major stories like someone getting released or suspended or if there's a new title and there's a picture of it floating around or something along those lines would get it's own thread. Now does that mean people should go nuts and post every small tidbit that they either think is news or is posted somewhere, no. Use the News you can barely use thread for things like new devlopment talent got hired and reported to FCW or a fan just the baricade and got his ass beat by J.R. news. It's very hard to make everyone happy, no matter what happens people are gonna bitch about it. I think the mods should just experiment with different things and go from there and see what clicks.

A discussion on what goes where

I like having the "comments that don't warrent a thread" thread back when we had it. The only issue I had with it was when people didn't look a page or two back to see if something had already been posted or discussed and would re-post the same topic. It was more annoying when people just didn't look a couple posts above theirs to see the same thing already posted or the same discussion would restart. The main reason I didn't start a thread for AAA using Lashley WWE footage is because I was worried it would overall turn into a AAA discussion and also didn't think it'd really get that many posts or a giant discussion and of course the "Oh this doesn't warrent it's own thread" or the "This belongs in a AAA thread." Though to be honest, and maybe this should be a PM, but I don't get why what I posted about Lashley was moved to the "Random thoughts" thread. Was it the way I wrote it out or was it just a matter of opinon?

My apologies, I wasn't exactly sure where to put the Lashley thing. On one hand I thought it was news on the other hand it was also a comment that didn't warrent a thread, I just wasn't sure where to put it so I put it in the news section, I kinda weighed more on the thought it was news than a comment. So my apologies for the mix up.

Yeah it is. Lashley's also heel. Are you serious? What do you think sells Pay-Per-Views? Title matches. No one buys a ppv for a undercard match, people buy PPV's for the main events. There's also those who will buy a ppv if they like the card but a PPV's main selling point is the title matches. And sticking another world champion (like the SD champ in your example) in some undercard tag match would be like ordering a Raw or a Smackdown on pay per view and no one is going to spend 40 bucks on that.

    The Dark Knight

There was another child that Mrs. Gordon was holding on in that scene. I was wondering why they focused so much on Gordon's son when we all know that his daughter is the one that is effected by who Batman is and becomes Batgirl. If they actually had Barbara and not her brother being the "person that Gordon loves most in the world" and being held by a crazed Harvey and then realizing why her father had to chase Batman and her getting it what Batman is what Gotham needed, it would have been more poignant and set up future Batgirl. I think the girl was a big tease, Nolan was asked about the girl by MTV and with a big smile on his face he refused to give any info on what her name is or who she might be/become. I thought they were doing the same thing with Detective Ramirez. I thought it was Montoya until they revealed her name at the end. In the new Gotham Knight movie she is even partnered with Crispus Allen so I assume they didn't want to tarnish Montoya so Nolan gave the character in the film a different name. I'm still waiting for someone to call one of the cops "Bullet".

Was it me or did Gyllenhall just look tired the entire movie? Though I have to admit, I have a thing for Gyllenhall, ever since I saw "The Secretary"...Maggie Gyllenhall = yes. (seriously, guys if you wanna get a girl hot, pop that movie in.)

    Pokemon Draft!

I actually blame the person who put the draft together on not PM'ing or just saying "so and so is next" in the thread, not the person whose turn it is to contact the person who goes after them. Why would I want the person who goes after me to get a better draft pick? Why wouldn't I just want to sabotage his draft pick by not letting him or her know? And why can't you just put down "This is person is up and has 12 hours before they get a random pick." when you post something in the thread?

    The Dark Knight

I saw the movie tonight (technially last night) and I found it quite good but holy fuck did the crowd annoy me. It got to the point where I almost walked out of the movie before the movie even started. The theater I went to decided to show 12 screenings of it at midnight and weren't prepared for the giant fucking line that showed up. The theater made only one line and let it run all the way back outside, so in a effort to make the line smaller, they let people into the theathers really fucking early. I'm talking like an hour in a half before the fucking commericals came on early and of course the place had to be filled with fucking people between the ages of 16 to 19 who got restless real fast. A giant group of 17 to 19 year olds sat in the rows behind us and when I say giant, I mean 20 kids were in the group and of course they were being as loud as they could be. This fat fucker who sat right behind me kept yelling at the top of his lungs while his friends would yell a long with him. It got to the point that the group I saw in (who was in the row in front of these kids) started yelling at each other for conversations in hopes they'd get the fucking hint. Some jackoff found the light switch and kept turning them off and on and I sware to God if I had known where that lightswitch was, I would have gone right up to it and found the motherfucker playing with that Goddamn switch and would have broke his hands. That's how much of a bad mood I got put into before this movie started. And oh God the clapping. Like I understand there were some pretty badass scenes. I mean the first joker scene (Magic Pencil), that really deserved clapping. That was a great motherfucking scene, but then the second scene the joker appeared in for like 2 minutes didn't deserve clapping. After every cool thing people would clap. It got annoying and fast. It really hurt the movie experiance for me, but besides the crowd I really wanted to kill, it was a great movie.
