Yeah, that wasn't a squash.

I don't think I like HHH moving over to Smackdown. Smackdown seemed like a place where people could shine and do more than they were able to do Raw. I was excited to see Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy move over to Smackdown as I got the feeling, that they'll finally get more to do and have better chances to win a World Championship and be in better feuds....then HHH is drafted to Smackdown and my hope for good championship programs is shot into the dust.

Does anyone know anything about Ted Dibase's new book? I didn't even know there was one coming out until last night.

That was WCW. WWE lets their annoucers know whats going on ahead of time. They have scripts right in front of them. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the WWE didn't let the annoucers know about any of the draft selections. Tazz sounded really pist off last night about how ECW was being treated all last night and it really didn't sound like he was acting it up at all. I know you hate "the dirtsheet folk" because you think it sullies your business with speculation that isn't really news, but Meltz/Alvarez are pretty sure the only on-screen talent that knew what was up was HHH (because the move was done to accommodate his and Steph's new pregnancy schedule or something) and maybe Batista. Tazz really was mad. This isn't new though, this is how they did the crappy draft in 2005 where it ran 4 weeks (and Jericho didn't know his guest on the Highlight Reel was John Cena) and in 2007 when guys had to log on to WWE.com to see where they ended up in the supplemental draft. That said, it IS pretty WCW of them, but it makes things "more real" for the draft, which is fun for the fans. Where the hell is al with his draft analysis? Well like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if the annoucers weren't informed on the draft moves, but when it comes to matches and other things, I'm sure that the annoucers know whats going on. If you read Bobby Heenan's book he talks about how when he went from WCW back to the WWE he felt so much better at annoucing because WCW didn't give any information about what was happening to their annoucers while the WWE made sure to give that information to their annoucers. So that's what I ment, if their was any confusion. And that's not really why I don't like Meltzer and Alvarez, I just don't like how people really believe everything the two of them have to say.

I hope you guys don't mind, but I recently remembered a piece from Carlin....it was a cheer anyone could use. "Ratshit, batshit, dirty old twat! 69 assholes tied in a knot! HOORAY! LIZARD SHIT! FUCK!!!!!" Thank you and RIP George Carlin.

It can't be Rikishi. He's wrestling in Spain.

So what was fast?

Raw should have been all triple threat matches, with each wrestler representing a certain brand. That ways every show has a chance to get a draft pick. It sounds like Raw and Smackdown are the only two thats been given chances to get draft picks so far.

RAW 1. Rey Mysterio 2. CM Punk ECW SMACKDOWN 1. Jeff Hardy

NOT VAL VENIS~~~!

RAW Rey Mysterio ECW SMACKDOWN Jeff Hardy

I'm not watching, can't for another 3 hours, so I'll just try to keep track of whose drafted as best that I can. RAW Rey Mysterio ECW SMACKDOWN

Yeah but that was also a different scenrio Hawk. It wasn't "we're gonna move this random person to a random brand" it was the roster being divided up into two different shows. Every draft since that draft has been a lottery.
-
Yeah..that graph is pretty much right. Though I'd put Coffee and Trees when it came to Oregon and Washington...Maybe Coffee, Trees, and bad weather.
-
You do realize the draft has always been a "random lottery" right? It's not really a draft. The only time the "draft" effect is really used is when the GM's did trades on WWE.com. It's also a work, the GM's have no control on who their picking. So how would feelings even get hurt? All Vince has to do is tell one wrestler "yeah...we're gonna put you on Smackdown now." and then that person would be on smackdown.

It would be great to push someone like that if they had a history with the WWE, like D-Lo does. However doing it with someone like Chirs Harris wouldn't be smart because I gurantee 85% of the WWE crowd will be in cricket mode, probably the same for Ron Killings as well.

I like the idea of the Random Generator landing on Free Agent then that Free Agent comes out. If anything that Free Agent should then go out and have a match against someone, but I think the problem would be the lack of a re-action any Free Agent would get. I can see the crowd doing the "who the hell is this guy?". Then again, I'm hoping they do the balls in the spinner and someone draws a name.
-
How can you draft "free Agents" when they offically haven't even debuted on tv? The only people who should be drafted are people who are already on selected brands. Maybe WWE can do something on WWE.com where the GM's get together and select "Free Agents" but even then I don't think that would get any fan intrest.
-
Holy shit. That sucks.

Yeah but i'm not a big Hulk fan....I wasn't a big Iron man fan either but that impressed me....hmmm...maybe Hulk or Get Smart then.
-
Ok, quick poll! Which movie would you rather see Hulk, Get Smart, or Love Guru?
-
Ah good times. I was born in V-town which is a part of the 707. I now live in the 925.
-
Honestly....that's kind of a hard question to answer, espically since you really don't follow wrestling all that much. I would say The Great Muta, but since you're not a big wrestling fan, you may not know who that is. So I'm going to throw out The Sandman's name....umm if it'd be easier I could make a list and you could go from that.

It's most likely a way for the WWE to make the PPV more intresting. If Wrestler B who just got drafted to Brand X beats Wrestler Champion A....then that title could go to Brand X!!!! OH NO!
