This was my only time dealing with someone who just went "uhhhh, ok, ummmmmm, hmm, ok.....Uhhhhh". Normally Nintendo reps (when I can get ahold of one) are really good when it comes to solving my issues. I only real complaint is just being on hold so long and instead of music, I get about 30 seconds of music then the annoying voice over comes on repeating the 3 steps I can do that might solve my issue. I hate that voice.

Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch

A stiff shot to certain areas of the body is fine as some parts of the body can take more of a beating than other parts. The upper chest and back are the best areas to take a stiff shot, thats sorta why we see a lot of stiff kicks to the back now and hear the effect of a loud chop to the pec, but when it comes to other parts of the body a wrestler should protect himself so he doesn't get hurt. The way you guys kinda make it sound is that Danielson wasn't really protecting himself so that may have helped caused the injury along with the stiff kicks/punches he was taking to the face or head area. There are ways wrestlers can protect themselves from moves or strikes so they don't get seriously injured, but unfortunaily a lot of wrestlers don't always do that anymore like they should. -
I haven't tried Wii sports yet. They recommanded I should clean it...I'm being lazy.

Eh? Why would you need to do that? Does it play other games? Here's what happen. I rented Metroid Prime 3 and popped it into my Wii, saw that there was a system update and updated my system, then all of a sudden the disc couldn't be read. I took the disc out and looked at the back, saw no deep scartches and tried it again, same error. I then grabbed my Legend of Zelda and popped that in and it worked, so then I tried my Wii Sports and got "can't read disc, eject game and restart system.", so I did that and tried Wii Sports and Metroid Prime again, both were both getting disc read error messages but the messages were in differant form for the games. Metroid was "disc read error" while Wii Sports was "Can't read disc, eject game, and restart system.". I called Nintendo and after being on hold for 10 minutes (God I hate their automated machine voice that comes on every minute.), I got ahold of a rep and explained what happen then I got "uhhhh, hmmm, ok, ughhhhh, ok (I sware to you he did this for at least a minute.). "What's wrong?" I asked him, "you sound stumped." "Well you see," he said "We've been getting reports that a lot of Metroid Prime 3 discs are doing this to Wiis'." "Doing what?" I asked, "updating the systems and getting disc read errors." he replied. "Great." I said with dissapointment. "And you see, here's the problem, normally we have you send your Wii and your copy of Metroid Prime 3 in and we fix it for you, but since you've rented it.....you can't really do that." He told me. He then told me "Well, how bout this, why don't you send your Wii and your copies of Zelda and Wii sports in and we'll see whats wrong....Actually can you hold for a second, I want to make sure thats what we should do." "Sure." I told him, pist off as I just went through this crap with my 360. After a few minutes, the rep got back on the line and told me to return the copy of Metroid Prime 3 I had rented and get ahold of another copy and see if that works and if that didn't work, call back. So thats what I did, went back out and returned the copy I had rented from a private video store that only had 1 copy in total and guess who had that copy....Me and I couldn't even get a damn cash refund back, I got a fucking credit. I then walked up to Hollywood Video that had one copy left and rented that out, returned home and tried it and lord behold....MY WII READ THE DISC! Moral of the story: Some Metroid Prime 3's are fucking up Nintendo Wiis'. Before of the Metroid Prime!

Jerry Lynn left?

Metroid Prime 3 made my Wii crap out and now I have to send it in! Edit: Maybe not, Nintendo wants me to try a differant copy of Metroid Prime 3, which means I have to return this one and rent another one somewhere else. Damnit.

It's Orton, odds are he's off the hook.

No, not yet. If Morrison does get the belt back, after a week or so after he comes back, it's just a way to keep building a title feud between the two. I don't think it's one of those "Well the champion is in trouble, lets do a title switch for now then put it back on him when he returns." kind of deal. It's very obvious that Morrison and Punk can have awesome matches and work very well with each other, plus the booking pretty much writes itself, so why not continue the feud? Honestly, I think the feud should end after last night. Switching it back and forth between them isn't necessary - it will hurt both guys probably more than anything. Punk chased the belt (quite a good while may I add) and having him drop it back to Morrison would just "depress" the program down to square one again. Now if they want to do another Morrison-Punk match, by all means, go for it, just put Punk over again, as Morrison really needs time away from the main event to get his gimmick more over and refined. It's time for both guys to move on to two different programs - Punk could work a program with Cor Von when he returns, and Morrison could move on to who knows who. They got a month to figure that part out. Well when the rematch happens, and by all means it should happen, Morrison shouldn't get the belt back that match. He should loose, then pull the heelish dick thing with the GM and get yet another rematch, winning the title back in a dirty fashion thus giving the feud more fire to keep it going strong.

Either way, the in-game storyline will probably be 10X better than the '01 Invasion. But seriously, is it just me or does it seem THQ gets lazier and lazier with this game every year? Sure they add a completely different control scheme every year, but even that gets annoying. HCTP had an amazing control scheme, but that was thrown right out the window when it came time for the abortion that was the first SD vs R. Last year they had a decent enough scheme, but the move variety was pitiful. I feel the same way about THQ becoming lazy with the game. It seems they focus on one or two things and just say "fuck it" to the rest of the game. I actually don't like how they keep "tweaking" the control sceme, pick a fucking sceme and leave it as it is. I hate to bring this up, but that's one thing EVERYONE loved about the AKI wrestling games, the control sceme was pretty much unchanged with their games. If you played WCW vs The World, you could have played any of their wrestling games after that. The other thing THQ really focues on is the graphics. Every year it just seems the wrestlers get more shinyer and shinyer and they have to look more realistic. I honestly don't care how realistic they look, I'm not buying the game to go "oh, he/she looks so real. Look their eyes move!", I'm buying the game to enjoy the game, not to stare at it.

and I'm even more sold than before.

I kinda agree with Austin here but then again how often are you allowed to propose something to the heads and hope they approve or don't punish you for trying to change your gimmick?

I'll believe it when I see it.

Flair's still on the Smackdown Roster page, so before we jump to "Where Flair is going to go?", how bout we wait until WWE makes an annoucement.

I'd be shocked if Flair went to TNA, espically since Vince Russo is still there.

Could we please stop saying that the Ref was untrained and had no idea how to take the move before? We don't even know what Ref it was, so how can we assume he "wasn't" trained? And why the hell are we automatically assuming that this one Ref doesn't know how to bump? For one, if someone doesn't know how to bump, Ref or not, they shouldn't be in the ring and if some company puts a Ref in the ring and that Ref can't bump, then that's the company's fault. The training or lack thereof, regarding the referee is irrelevant. The issue is that they made a public threat to potentially harm Cade and Murdoch inside the ring and then took a referee and made him take a unplanned bump. that's something that should be complained about, but to keep saying the Ref is untrained when we don't actually know is something else.

Is that honestly the full roster? It just seems so lack-luster.
