Or Jeff Hardy wins it on Monday since WWE set the program back up. Why unify the titles?
-
So I'm assuming there's going to be quite a few title changes next week? At least with Umaga and John Morrison (if they're actually ones who got caught.) WWE set up title programs for them before this happen. Now I'm just wondering how WWE is going to handle the "suspendeds", will WWE take these wrestlers off tv or will it be like the Orton thing where the WWE will just suspend their pay but will make them do tv?

Folks...WWE is now in red light panic mode.

Why would Hulk have to pay the family? If they sued wouldn't they have to sue Nick or because he's 17 it will fall on his parents shoulders? Besides if it goes to court, would Nick be facing jail charges?

Devil Mountain Wrestling presents Eve of Destruction on 8/25
Scroby replied to Scroby's topic in General Wrestling
Here are the results of the Devil Mountain Wrestling Eve of Destruction show last Saturday night. First off, we had a number of around 200 or over 200 people at the show. I'm not a 100% sure on what the actual number of fans was, but I know it was near 200. Match 1: For the DMW XXX Championship, first a Battle Royal then when there are 3 wrestlers left, a Triple Threat Match will start to determine the first DMW XXX Champion. The night started off with a 25 man and woman battleroyal to determine what 3 wrestlers would face each other for the DMW XXX Championship. The last 3 wrestlers in the battleroyal were El Chupacabra, Kenny K, and Sheik Khan Abodi. With these 3 wrestlers left in the ring, a Ref slid into the ring and a Triple Threat Match was started to crown the first ever Devil Mountain Wrestling XXX Champion. The Rules of the match work like this, One wrestler in the match must get a pinfall or submission victory over both oppoents, so for example, Wrestler A gets a pinfall on Wrestler B then later makes Wrestler C tap out, Wrestler A would be the winner of the match. Sheik vs Chupacabra vs Kenny K was a physical high flying match, but it when it was all said and done, it was Sheik stealing his 2nd win in the match. After Chupacabra hit Kenny K with the Spanish Fly, Sheik grabbed Chupi and threw him out of the ring, Sheik then quickly pinned Kenny K to pick up his 2nd win in the match, making Sheik Khan Abodi the first ever DMW XXX Champion. Match 2: Virgil Flynn vs The Brown-Snake Jesus Kruze Winner: Virgil Flynn after hitting a 450 splash from the top rope on Jesus Kruze. Match 3: The Russian Wolf Alexis Darevko vs Rockstar Robbie Gilmore. During the match, Darevko went and grabbed a chain and was planning on using it on Robbie Gilmore but Referee Guido grabbed one end of the chain and started a tug of war with Darevko, but what the Ref and Darevko didn't see was Maynard Skynard sneaking out and getting on the ring apron and when the chain tug of war came to a end with Ref Guido being able to get the chain away from Darevko, Darevko turned around and caught a HUGE clothesline from the waiting Maynard Skynard. Maynard jumped down off the ring and hid on the side of the ring, this gave enough time for the Rockstar Robbie Gilmore to get up and nail The Russian Wolf with a cutter and got the 1..2...3 pin victory. Winner: The Rockstar Robbie Gilmore via pinfall. Sidenote: This was one of Robbie Gilmore's last matches in North California before he heads off to Booker T's school in Houston. DMW would like to wish Robbie Gilmore the best of luck with Booker T. Match 4: The Bristish Messiah Timothy Thatcher vs The Big Ugly JD Bishop Winner: The Big Ugly JD Bishop via pinfall by a roll up. Match 5: Rik Luxury vs one part of the Suburban Commando's T-Rent Winner: Rik Luxury via pinfall. Match 6: In a DMW Student Grudge Rematch; Anton Vorhees vs Shaun Sims The match was pretty much back and forth, at one point during the match Shaun Sims got Anton Vorhess in the corner and then started punching Vorhess in the head 10 times, once Sims finally got back down to the apron, Sims backed up and began to charge at Anton. Anton Vorhess quickly pulled Referee Toby (that's me) into the corner and before Sims could run me into the corner, Shaun put the brakes on and quickly stopped himself...thank God, but Anton being the crafty Canadian that he is, ran into the back of Shaun Sims with a shoulder block causing Sims to squash Referee Toby into the corner. Sims quickly got the upperhand again and hit his finisher (chokeslam into a cutter) on Anton, but with Ref Toby out, there was no one to make a count. Sims got up and revived the Ref but Anton got the upper hand again and hit his own finisher (Jumping spinning Cutter) on Sims giving Anton Vorhess yet another victory on Shaun Sims. Winner: Anton Vorhess via Pinfall. Match 7: Ryan Drago vs Helfyre Winner: Helfyre via pinfall after hitting a Demon Spike (Half nelson into a face buster) on Ryan Drago. Match 8: For The DMW Tag Titles, It was The Suburban Commando members DJ Rizz and D-Unit (Tag Title holders) vs Bloodline (Mike Rayne & Billy Blade) vs The Fun Athletic Guys (F.A.G's) (Kimo Kanaloa & Chico Navaro) in a 3 way elimation match. Winners: The Suburban Commandos were able to hold onto their Devil Mountain Wrestling Tag titles after beating Bloodline. The F.A.G's were elimated earlier in the match. Match 9: The DMW Championsip Title Match; Sir Samurai (Champion) vs Hollywood Jason Vega (Jason Vega beat Rik Luxury in Aug. to become the #1 contender for the title.) During the match, when Hollywood Jason Vega was getting the upper hand and mounting a comeback, Vega went for a clothesline but The DMW Champion Sir Samurai ducked the clothesline and Jason Vega nailed the Ref (me) instead.....and that damn clothesline hurt too! I got knocked out for a 2nd time for the night. When I came to, Sir Samurai was pinning Jason Vega and I counted to 3, Sir Samauri retained his DMW Chamionship Title. I was told later in the night that apprently Rik Luxury came out when I was knocked out and hit Hollywood Jason Vega with something, knocking him out as well. Winner and still Devil Mountain Wrestling Champion Sir Samurai via pinfall. Match 10 was our Main Event for the night, it was Former WWE Superstar and TNA Wrestler D-Lo Brown vs Former WWE Superstar Gangrel. After D-Lo Brown hit a spinebuster on Gangrel, Bloodline (Mike Rayne and Billy Blade) rushed to ringside, Rayne distracted Referee Guido long enough for Billy Blade to slide into the ring unoticed and hit a reserve ddt on D-Lo, shortly after the reserve ddt was hit, The Suburban Commandos rushed out to ringside as well to chase off Billy Blade and Mike Rayne through the front door. When Ref Guido turned around, he saw that Gangrel was covering D-Lo and went down for the count but D-Lo kicked out! Gangrel then went for his impaler DDT but D-Lo reversed it into his Sky High, D-Lo went for the cover and the Ref counted to 3 giving D-Lo Brown the win. Winner D-Lo Brown via pinfall after hitting the Sky High. Overall it was a fun night, the crowd was big and hot throughout the night and was a wrestling packed night that entire crowd enjoyed. Our next show is Sept. 22nd and I do believe it is the King of Devil Mountain match. So stay tuned for that! -
Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch
Scroby replied to theintensifier's topic in General Wrestling
They have to buy their own health insurance. Bob is right, WWE does not provide health insurance, or any other kind of benefits, but WWE wrestlers do make good enough money to be able to get their own insurance. A stiff boot did it? Did Danielson not protect himself? Did he just take the boot face first? -

Depends, does anyone know what actually caused the problem with his eye? I have to agree though, i don't understand why Indy wrestlers do a lot of dangerous moves, I mean yes there is a certain way to protect yourself so you don't become seriously injured but some moves that are done today still look like they would cause some type of injury even when you can protect yourself. Yes, these moves can pop a crowd, but they won't really get you noticed. Actually depening on whose watching you, you may get noticed as someone who does dangerous moves. -
It's been taken down. Damn, youtube's been removing the viacom stuff quickly since the lawsuit has been brought. so..umm...who is it?

I actually heard the story on Friday night...and Ron is telling you the truth about that.

The OAO Thread For The Twentieth Annual SummerSlam Games

You just answered your own question. -
Zappa, why did you refer to Morrison under his real name?
-
She has pretty much quit in-ring wrestling. She does manage and makes apperances though, but that's all she wants to do now. Unless she changes her mind in the future, I don't see her returning to the ring. She really likes doing what she is doing now. To answer your question, yes...yes he can.
-
Yes
-
he doesn't wear it anymore.
-
So I'm curious on a few things. 1. Does anyone want Morrison to stay champ? I know a LOT of people want Punk to win but I'm really digging their feud and Morrison as a champion. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't mind Morrison keeping the title just a wee bit past Summerslam. 2. If WWE was still doing the single brand ppvs, would you buy a ECW ppv with how it's going today or no?
-
Was that actually confirmed? I didn't think they actually specified Summerslam. I don't know, I haven't watched the show yet but someone earlier mentioned it, so I assumed it was actually booked. In that case, I think the poster above was just speculating. There's no way. DAMN!

You do the show kinda early Pacific time, just asking not saying you should do it, but would a later show be possible for those in other time zones.
-
With only a one hour program, you don't want to over do it with having to many people on one show in one hour. Look at how big TNA's roster is and how many people don't get used for weeks on end or at all. Stevie Richards vs Kevin Thorn at Summerslam? Is the world ending?

Played the demo the other day, I really enjoyed it. I would like to buy it but since it has no MP, that is a big turn off for me. I'll rent it once I get a free weekend.

Right.....if you read my blog, you would know that I've talked about working with New Jack and other workers as well and no I am not using someone who is considered a big name to help put me over, the subject of this thread is your "Funniest/best indy momnets" and New Jack calling me a Micheal Jackson looking motherfucker in front of a live crowd, on a live micaphone and the crowd along with me laughing at it, was a funny moment for me. I do have others but that was one of the first ones that came to mind, but just to make you happy, when I first got into the buisness, I was working with a promotion called the ICW in WA and at the show I went to, which was a all cage match show, in the main event, one of the guys got thrown into the cage and the corner of the cage slid off the ring. There was litereally a gap between the corner of the cage and the ringpost. The gap was so big, I could have easily ducked under the cage and got into the ring myself. All of a sudden, all of the guys who were near the ring, jumped the guardrail and pushed the cage back onto the ring, as the match was going on, a few of us stood near ringside to make sure that didn't happen again. That was my first BIG funny/best indy moment. There ya happy, by the way, I'm kinda curious, have you ever had any in-ring training or are you one of those who are just throwing around the word "Untrained" because he thinks he's someone special? I also want to point out to you, that some of my peers, guys who I look up to and respect who help me learn this buisness, have read many of my posts, have read my blogs on this messageboard and haven't said one thing negitive about me talking about my life in pro wrestling, so I'm sorry you have such a big problem with it...but then again, who excatly are you to critacize me? Actually, don't answer that, I don't want to stir up crap here in this thread, I don't want to get in trouble by a mod. So if you want to bait me into something, bring it up in Choc. Socket or PM Me, and say what you want to say. Otherwise quit trying to bait me into something.

Ron: STAB! can kinda rhyme with...damn. -
yeah I'm a mark because I got to work with New Jack and had a great/fun time while working with him. If that makes me a mark, oh well. Oh and I forgot about afterwards, after the match (Cage match that got extremely bloody) Myself, New Jack, and Terry Bull were laying in the hall way laughing our asses off about things that just happen and I look at New Jack and say "You know how to do more than just one wrestling move" and he says "I now know 2, a Suplex and a belly to belly.".
