Honestly what did Sony annouce that was impressive or at least would blow Nintendo and Microsoft out of the water? Nothing, don't get me wrong, Microsoft and Nintendo didn't really annouce anything either, unless you want to consider the Netflix thing, but all three companies really didn't annouce anything huge and big.

It's addicting once you get into it. And I think Andrew needs a big ol Nintendo hug. Overall the Microsoft conferance got me excited the most for their product, while Nintendo and Sony really didn't. What about you guys? Which company got you excited for their product?

Oh come on, thats just wanting to complain. That is a pretty good download speed to get a movie that long downloaded in that time. Really? I'm not looking for something to complain about. If that's true for even the 360, I rather just walk to a videostore and rent a movie.

Did he just say it'll take a an hour to download a two hour movie? I could walk to and from a video store before the movie would even be fully downloaded.

I agree Little Big Planet looked pretty cool...Resistance though, eh it looked very nice but I didn't get the "Oh! I need to play that game" feeling.

Basically yeah, a lot of companies started to feel that E3 was becoming to crowded and to big/popular with general audiences instead of being a place for game companies to get press, so a lot of companies pulled out of the expo because of these reasons.

Overall I think the Nintendo conferance was kinda weak but at the same time I had a feeling Nintendo didn't have anything big to annouce since all their big games have already come out, so I don't know what Nintendo was going to pull out as a big giant surprise or annoucment or at least I wasn't expecting them to.

Nintendo normally shows their sales figures before they really get into games. Nintendo was showing 3rd party titles when it came to Rayman, Call of Duty, and clone wars. YAY ANIMAL CROSSINGS!

Punk already has about 3 or 4 (maybe more) Best of DVDs so I don't know that'd be absolutely neccesary but it could be cool for a complete set. Getting ROH footage would be more difficult. They'd have a better shot at getting IWA-MS or smaller independents footage. Of course, they would probably only take footage against other current WWE talent such as Sydal, Gibson, Cabana, Kendrick and Kennedy. I would hope they have more OVW footage then anything else. If they did get IWA-MS footage, they could just grab the triple threat Punk/Mysterio/Eddie match and maybe a Punk/Eddie singles match. The major crutch, besides there being no real precedent that I'm aware of of DVDs using indy footage except for The Hardys in OMEGA, would be that Ian Rotten isn't exactly the biggest McMahon fan. Then again, given the chance, I'm sure money would talk. Wasn't the Benoit/Regal match on the Benoit DVD an indipendant show...or was that run by WWE (which I doubt, given the bad camera for it)? You're thinking of the match they had at the Pillman memorial show. It wasn't really put on by WWE but had WWE talent there.

There was also a Superheros MMORPG annouced the other day as well. The people who were going to make the Marvel MMORPG are making pretty much the same thing but without the Marvel license.

Would be a wise thing to do considering they're saying you'll be able to 'save' games on to the HD come Fall Update to improve performance and save on wearing out your diskdrive ala PS3. I really want to get the 120 HD but without a job...I'm kinda f'd in the A. Aye, there's a 60gb one the way soon too! Not to step on your toes but you forgot to mention the Fall Xbox interface update, which is going to change it entirely, add avatars, and the Xbox Party system which is going to be fucking sweet.
