Actually, after looking back through my DT collection, they've essentially alternated studio/live from the beginning

re: XFL. Lest we forget Vince's attempt to interject conflicts/storylines/sketches into the product. Most notably Jesse Ventura "vs." Rusty Tillman, or the cheerleader dressing room dream sequence, which was probably the final turning point for any non-wrestling football fans who still remained with the product to that point

The mods seem to be really good at doing everything except what they should be doing Example - Posters: "WP causes problems", "WP does nothing but trolling", "WP disrupts threads" Mods: "Oh look, a deer... also, we need to delete the GTG folder!"

Speaking of prog, I've seen on VH1-Classic that Dream Theater are releasing yet another 3-CD live set. If you haven't been keeping score, that's their third 3-CD live set in five years. They've essentially alternated studio/live since '99. They're supposed to have a diversity to them, akin to a King Crimson or Zappa. The live CDs don't quite show that much however, as far as I've seen. What's worse is I'll probably still wind up buying it though

RB51 seems to be more a fan of the guitar-era late 70's Rush. I'm more a fan of the early 80's synth-y Rush. I'd recommend Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures and Signals

On that note, I've always heard mods talk about "Why don't you just PM us about issues? Why do you have to make threads about everything?" My interpretation would be that people probably think if they just PM a mod, the mod will read it and go "Psh, whatever." to themselves and sweep it under the rug, whereas they think bringing it to public attention would be much more effective

As for WP, I mean, come on, we've certainly banned posters for far more benign offenses (see: SledgehammerUh,UseThe)
