Good thing SO3 had the foresight to name this thread "Pictures I Like" rather than "Pictures That Are Good"

I like There's been two Spanish metal bands I've been touting for years. First is Tierra Santa, who plays very good Maiden-influenced metal (video 1 video 3) The other is Mago De Oz, a Spanish folk metal band in the same vein as Skyclad. They have a mix of folk metal songs and straight-up folk songs, though I tend to prefer the former (video 1 video 2 video 3) On the other side of the pond, there's metal from the Rising Sun, in the form of Loudness, who did have some minor hits stateside in the mid-80's with "Crazy Nights" and "Let it Go", but they had quite a few good songs beyond those. Oh, and X-Japan, of course.

though I must say, the whole "are you masturbating" scene did lead to one of my favorite Rifftrax quotes ever ("They caught him priming his Optimus!")

Even though I didn't like Shia as the "sympathetic underkid", I would have been mostly fine if it was just his storyline with the Transformers (though fazzle's quote was spot on), but instead we got a bunch of disjoint stories with awful extraneous characters who easily could have been dropped from the film, most notably the Aussie girl hacker and Anthony Anderson, as well as John Turturro as over-the-top Evil Government Guy. I thought it was very similar to Attack of the Clones in which the cool fight scenes during the last half-hour didn't make up for the 2.5 hours of shit preceding it I think Niskie contributed to the screenplay

This. I was on vacation for a week plus change earlier this month and when I returned I just couldn't get back into things. I still read the board regularly, just haven't found much to post about lately. I am on AIM nearly every evening though and am generally up for one-on-one conversation or group chats. In short, consider this summre my offsesaon As for The Pit, I'm not a big fan of the new layout, nor am I a fan of the new search engine which only finds posts from after the switch, making it impossible to find old posts for reference (which has been noted as the sword by which I live and die). However, I was willing to live with it and did post for a bit after the first board reset and switch, but after the second reset I was mildly annoyed and just didn't feel like asking Ill to fix my password a second time. When I feel like posting there again, I'll ask. and of normal size There was no Pit

Holy shit I think I see one black guy in the way back of that crowd. There's also no women. Because Boston women remember what happened last time they went out and celebrated

My philosophy is that as long as it tastes good and doesn't make me sick (or kill me), I don't care how it got from point A to my mouth

On the occasions where I think I'm being tailed close to home (none of which ever came to fruition), as a test I start driving convoluted routes around my neighborhood that nobody would drive if they were actually going to their own home in the area.

Disc 1 is definitely best disc of the YCD sets IMO (with Vol 5 Disc 2 pulling second), but two major complaints relate to the fact that "Pygmy Twylyte" is supposed to be a fast energetic song while "Village of the Sun" is a laid back lazy song (as both are played on RAE), and for some reason here they switch them up

Let's Talk About...Vince Russo's first stint booking WCW
Slayer replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
Quite frankly I have a hard time remembering anything about WCW between the FPOD and its demise. Hell, I went to two live Nitros in Minneapolis (Nov '99 and Feb '00) and I can't remember anything about either one other than Hogan's quote about "proper strapation". I have to look up the results to remember what happened. -
Easier than splitting the triangle would be using the Law of Cosines, which is the general case of the Pythagorean Theorem as applied to all triangles, not just right ones

Just post some (okay, a lot) of pictures making fun of yourself That seems to be the current quick and easy road to popularity around here

The OAO TSM "Happy Birthday, you!" Thread
Slayer replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in No Holds Barred
If Kinetic had the foresight to hold off his birth a couple more days, he would have actually received birthday salutations in this thread -
