I think the NFL's concern is that if you wound up with, say, a Dallas-Miami SB in a snow city (ex: Giants Stadium), that few of those team's fans would come, certainly far fewer than if it was in a warmer city. Plus the sports media would bitch about it. A lot. I personally am for it though

I think it's okay to have two favorite teams as long as they're fairly mutually exclusive (i.e. not division rivals), like I have the Reds (grew up as fan) and Red Sox (he-who-shall-not-be-mentioned got me into Boston sports back in '98) But then at least you have more going for you than if you have just one team
