  1. I know we're all latent homosexuals here at TSM, but do we have to keep using the blowjob metaphor?
  2. If you go back to his early time at ESPN, or if you've seen footage of him before his ESPN days, you know Stuart Scott used to be a normal talking guy until he decided he needed to be the voice of the "brothas". Funny thing is, most "brothas" I know can't stand his superficial act.

The Orange Bowl Thread, Take 2

Re: The difference between Carroll as NFL head coach vs. college coach I remember an interview he did about halfway through his first season ('01) where he talked about how he loved coaching college way more than NFL because he liked to have fun and be a fun guy and that the NFL was too serious for him while college was allowing him to be himself. I don't think he would (or should, personally) go back to the NFL.

What do you think a church should look like?

"Now, let us thank the Lord for this magnificent crystal cathedral, which allows us to look out upon His wonderous creation! ... Gaze down at God's fabulous parquet floor! Eyes on the floor... still on the floor... always on God's floor."

You waste far too many words defending yourself on a wrestling message board

I will first admit that I have a bias against big cities, but I've always found the hype about SoCal to be so damn overrated after having been to LA/SD twice in my lifetime. Northern Cal or the Valley might be to my liking though

  19. If anything, the Patriots get the opposite of blown by the sports media. Tom Brady has been a veritable wunderkind in his first four years with two Lombardis and two SB MVPs, but he never gets mentioned in the same breath as the almighty Manning. On top of that, Kurt Warner got shitloads of media rimjobs during his comparable hightime a couple years ago.
  20. What is this Pats blowing of which you speak? All the AFC talk I've heard the last few weeks has been Colts and Steelers, Colts and Steelers, Manning, Manning, Manning, Colts and Steelers... "Who the hell are the Patriots?"

Why is Figure Skating on ESPN?

Does that mean boxing isn't a sport? But at least boxing has other means of winning relating to the competitors themselves (KO or TKO).

I would say Randy Savage's Electric Cowboy outfit constitutes "non-traditional" wrestling attire

    The Wildcard Weekend Thread

I don't foresee much from the Steelers in the playoffs. Cowher's always been a "so close yet so far" coach, and I think this season will proliferate that label.
