Saw it today. Loved it. 'Nuff said.

Don't forget about the defending champion Greater Boston and Mostly New England Too Since It's All One Place Anyway Located In the NE US on Planet Earth in This Solar System Red Sox

But VaTech's other loss was a tight game against USC. I can't explain away the NCSU loss though. And at least Auburn gets some viable competition, as opposed to Utah getting a Pitt team that so backdoored into the bowl system, their head was in the ground.

It's essentially the same thing with the Rams The Vikings and the Rams are two teams packed with talent that are held down by bad coaches who seem to somehow maintain their owner's confidence (and paychecks).

Great game. Giants forcing the Bills to retard their play down to the Giants' level with excellent ball control. Regardless I don't see why that's considered an upset. (Yes I know Bills only lost on a missed FG, but it's a loss well earned IMO). The Bills were pretty favored over the Giants (don't remember the exact line though) because of their no-huddle offense and their coming off a shellacking of the Raiders in the AFC final, while the Giants hadn't exactly set the world on fire in their playoff run, beating two-time defending SB champ San Fransisco with 5 FGs and nothing else.

By the alternating year pattern (going back to '97) of good/bad Super Bowls, this year's SB will suck.

And add me to the list of people who think the Jets will beat San Diego

I think Denver over Green Bay was a pretty legit upset. Denver was a wild card team that played close games against KC and Pittsburgh in the AFC playoffs and then had to face the defending SB champs. Other notable upsets were Patriots over Rams in '01 and Giants over Bills in '91.

Extreme Dodgeball rocks. Unfortunately while I'm in Georgia I can't watch the playoffs because my friend doesn't get the channel it's on

Peyton and Vick in a 69. Minnesota has a tough game at one of the worst road playoff sites against their biggest rival, and present little reason to have faith in them after whimpering their way through the last half of the season. If Minnesota pulls this one off, I don't care what happens in the next game, I can at least get something from the season. If they lose yet again, I want to hear about Tice's unemployment in the near future, recent extension be damned.

Also, Agent looks like Michael Keaton in that pic (the first one), though I stand by my older impression that he looks like Matthew Lillard

Maybe he can finally getting around to banning Banders Also, I should note I am a scant two hours away in Valdosta... not that that matters much to this thread

What does it say about the NFC when the two top seeds limp into the playoffs with two straight losses? And no, the "they were just resting their starters" argument won't work here (since the two AFC teams didn't have any problems)
-
Anyone know the number of times one team has beaten another team three times in one season? It can't have happened too often, I don't think. Last time I recall was Tennessee beating Jacksonville thrice in the '99 season And thanks for backing me up on my remark too

*hates on Manning, the Packers, the Colts, the Lakers, whatever grocery store Alf works at, and Mexico*

I ain't proud, that's for sure, backing into the playoffs like a dumptruck. BUT, if the Vikings can pull an '98 Arizona and beat the Packers at Lambeau despite losing both regular season games (yeah yeah, I hear you Packers fans tuning up the "almost unbeaten at Lambeau in playoffs" band. Pipe down.) then I don't care what happens after that, it'll be worth it.

I think if USC wins the Orange then AP will vote for them, but I think if OU wins then the AP might vote Auburn as their champ if they win as well.

NFL pregame show (yes I know I don't normally watch, but there's nothing else on) has shown Minnesota's 0:00 play from last year three times already today. Yeah, they're not rubbing it in at all.

I hope I haven't become a typical jaded Minnesota fan, because while I want to see my team make the playoffs, something just tells me that I'll end up seeing a repeat of last year. As for the AFC, I would much rather see Buffalo go to the playoffs than Denver (or NY, for that matter, but one of those two has to go, I guess)
