Oh boy, only five more years of hearing Leno's bad monologues replayed on my morning radio station

What I'd like to know is if the technicalogical void for older films was so bad, why haven't other directors gone back to redo their older films? Why is it just Lucas who seems to be doing it? I don't want to say that Lucas thinks SW fans are sheep who will drop money every time he feels like changing assorted things in his movies and then repackages them, but... that's essentially what it feels like

One of my cases in point for this is the MIB-esque "music video" at the beginning of ROTJ... that was horrible

While there are some additions I get (like the shot of Cloud City when Lando calls for evacuation shows the magnititude of the city and situation), too many additions just reeked of "Look what I can do with my computer" and I find it hard to believe his vision was horridly incomplete without them That's just my opinion though
