    Topanga is a drunk driver.

He also played football with or against (forgot which) Kyle Boller

    Topanga is a drunk driver.

When he sees this, Leo's going to post his junior high experiences with Ms Fishel

    Johnny Depp Dislikes U.S.

Yeah Then again, so are Cheesy and Jerk

Re-Reading old posts you've made on this here forum.

While I did dive in fairly well, my first few months were those of feeling out the board, understanding the natives and learning what I could get away with, so like most I've got some awkward posts from my early days Once you get "established" though, it's like college tenure: free license to say all the dumb shit you want

The last week of the NFL season.

Haha, Mike McCarthy's throwing away Green Bay's huge winter advantage. I love it

Some questions for TaigaStar to consider.

While I agree with his earlier post, I can't help but wonder, given the combination of vitriol for Taiga in this thread and well-documented antipathy for Kristianna, whether pbone has some deep-seeded misogynistic issues

Some questions for TaigaStar to consider.

You do incite the same response as most of the political posters from these boards

Yes he is, except that he's mostly confined himself to that green board now... and I did see that thread, which I looked up because of sub referring to it in that first post, hence why I felt like noting his improvement

Has it really been that long? Funny how three years later Meatwad has improved by leaps and bounds while most (if not all) of the political posters are still awful

The last week of the NFL season.

Taylor's done more for his team this December than Brady

    Pictures I Like

Penny Arcade was once the premier webcomic for gaming, but it's gone downhill the last few years Also, it's hard to take Jerry Holkins seriously once you've seen his picture

Some questions for TaigaStar to consider.

Clearly TaigaStar is not considering these questions well enough

    The Matter of Ryechnaia Sobaka

With Sobaka, pbone and Nightwing, we've had quite the rookie class this year On the other hand, we also have TaigaStar, who's shown herself to be our own personal Brady Quinn... I would say I need a rookie who fell far below expectations, but she never had any in the first place.

what do you want for christmas?

Will the baby get a mini tin-foil hat of its own?

The official thread for year-end lists.

Bad redbaron51! Yes they did. There were some very good songs on it (Youtube links below), as expected from IE, however the album as a whole is a bit bloated, mostly because it's a concept album where the concept falls flat IMO. Good songs: Something Wicked Part 1 Setian Massacre Ten Thousand Strong The first two are just songs with a static b/g of the album cover. The last one is an actual music video, however I highly recommend not watching that... just stick that window in the b/g while posting on this board or whatever

Top Ten Personal Metal Albums of the Year 1. Helloween - Gambling with the Devil A solid power metal album from beginning to end, with only one WTF over-the-top song near the end of the CD, which has been par for the course for Helloween going back to their first album. Not only is this my favorite CD of the year but it's become a top contender for my personal Metal Album of the Decade list (currently headed by Iron Maiden's Dance of Death) 2. Paradise Lost - In Requiem My favorite metal band churns out another great CD which definitely marks a return to the heaviness of their peak years in the mid-90's, although I actually preferred the mellowness of the s/t album from a couple years ago (another one on my AOTD list) Beyond these two, I'm too lazy to try and rank the remaining eight in some kind of order, much less write up another eight mini-reviews, so here they are alphabetical order Candlemass - King of the Grey Islands Dark Tranquillity - Fiction Devin Townsend - Ziltoid the Omniscient Machine Head - The Blackening Megadeth - United Abominations Silent Force - Walk the Earth Symphony X - Paradise Lost Therion - Gothic Kabbalah Five albums I've been meaning to check out but haven't, which sound very good from the 30-second iTunes samples: Amorphis - Silent Waters Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos Korpiklaani - Tervaskanto Lake of Tears - Moons and Mushrooms Wuthering Heights - The Shadow Cabinet Disappointments Iced Earth - Framing Armageddon Nightwish - Dark Passion Play
  17. While I am glad Minnesota didn't give up without a fight, it was frustrating that they didn't actually start to play until the middle of the third quarter Unfortunately now we're possibly a Cowboys third-string cameo away from the Sean Taylor Memorial Playoff Experience, not to mention three teams from the NFC Least for the second straight year
  18. btw, there might be something to this "major threat" kiss-of-death by ESPN as put forth by some poster(s?) earlier If the Vikes lose, whomever gets the new title of "major threat" should watch out
  19. Well, it only took two-and-a-half quarters for the Vikings to start playing well
  20. "Win and you're in" does not fucking mean "Give the game away as best you can"
  21. NBC announced they are exercising the flex to pick up the Titans-Colts game
