Mrs. McKenith: So, what did you learn about today? Brandy: Hell. Mr. McKenith: Brandy! Brandy: But that's what we learned about. I sure as HELL can't tell you we learned about HELL unless I say HELL, can't I? Mr. McKenith: Well, the girl has a point. Brandy: Hell, yes! Mrs. McKenith: Brandy! Brandy: *singing* Hell, Hell, Hell, Hell...

Yeah, but someone needs to keep an eye on idiots like you... And someone needs to keep an eye on no-good limeys like you

Don't know. Never heard of them Well, I'll put it to you this way Dream Theater - (Labrie + Myung) + Levin = LTE No, you're right, he does get around. While a good portion of his resume lies with King Crimson and Peter Gabriel, he's bassed for quite a few groups, including some of the new supergroups that have been getting together for one album deals in the last five years

HD shouldn't have mods. It goes against the whole "purpose" of HD to begin with, i.e. (almost) no-rules

I've been saying for years that Minnesota needs to bring back outdoor stadiums. For the Vikings, it would provide the same midwestern cold-weather edge which they enjoyed in the 70's and which Fat Bay still enjoys to this day For the Twins, it could provide a good advantage when the temps start dropping in Sept/Oct, though I'm not sure how much it would be.

What was it? Forgotten in all this is what cult phenomenon really began three years ago around this same time... you know what I'm talking about "...In AD 2101, war was beginning..."

Good thing he had a hunting knife with him in the shower for protection, then, huh? (note to self: carry weapons in the shower with me, just in case I need to defend myself) IIRC (from the account by Dutch Mantel and what people say Tony Atlas said before supposedly changing his story), Brody wasn't actually in the shower showering, but one of the two or both (being Gonzalez and Brody) decided for that to be a "private" meeting place over some issue I'm just playing devil's advocate here for Gonzalez, since so many people automatically peg him as guilty. I try not to take sides due to the whole "none of us were there and all we know is through said second-hand accounts"

Ehhh, rather than comparing total ranks, I thought I'd make it a bit more interesting to look at each category. Here are the top five from each Bang for Buck 1 Edmonton Oilers 2 Philadelphia Eagles 3 Montreal Expos 4 San Antonio Spurs 5 Arizona Diamondbacks Fan Relations 1 San Antonio Spurs 2 Dallas Mavericks 3 Green Bay Packers 4 KC Chiefs 5 Detroit Red Wings Ownership 1 Green Bay Packers 2 San Antonio Spurs 3 Detroit Red Wings 4 KC Chiefs 5 Dallas Mavericks Affordability 1 KC Royals 2 Montral Expos 3 Memphis Grizzlies 4 San Antonio Spurs 5 Minnesota Twins Stadium 1 Columbus Blue Jackers 2 Minnesota Wild 3 Dallas Mavericks 4 Green Bay Packers 5 Chicago Cubs Players 1 San Antonio Spurs 2 Tennessee Titans 3 Detroit Pistons 4 Florida Marlins 5 KC Chiefs Coach 1 Dallas Cowboys 2 KC Chiefs 3 Utah Jazz 4 Minnesota Wild 5 Anaheim Angels Championships 1 New York Yankees 2 San Antonio Spurs 3 New Jersey Devils 4 Florida Marlins 5 Detroit Red Wings

It's never too early to start discussing the Super Bowl Initial thoughts: In a way, this Panthers team reminds me a lot of the Patriots team that won two years ago. Same record, same underdog mentality, similar team structure (tough defense and a reliable offense) This has the makings of a potential classic battle like that from two years ago (and given the alternating good-bad SB pattern since '96, we're due up for a good one).

And your empty content reflects that What? Really? I had no fuckin' clue your b/f is another poster here Since I presume the sarcasm of the last statement failed to penetrate your skull, I assure you it's there

Also, bear in mind that while some people are quick to label Jose Gonzalez as a murderer, he also has his defenders who believe it was an act of self defense Given Brody's tempermant, that's quite plausible

I thought you meant right after being stabbed (in the shower, in other words) This is just a funeral pic which, while inoffensive, disappoints me (given the premise)

Are you serious? I might give you the O'Donnell thing, because without those picks the game would have been much more interesting. The second win over the Bills was inevitable. All Thomas' fumble did was give the Cowboys the win sooner rather than later. That's why I said sometimes No doubt they were a great team with a great coach (in Johnson at least), but they had their flirtations with disaster too My main point is how people are ragging on these Patriots because they don't believe they're the same kind of teams as the dynasties of old, and I was pointing out that even those dynasties had the potential for disaster

I love this thread if only for the fact it's showing how uptight and humorless TSA is... Though I suppose that really would make her like Dear Abby Keep up the good work

Sometimes I don't get why the mid 90's Cowboys get so much love They were a Thurman Thomas fumble and a couple of Neil O'Donnell interceptions away from possibly only winning one SB in the 90's
