Some band (I believe GooGooDolls) murdered "Carry On Wayward Son" in a live performance, even going to far as to say something along the lines of "Does anyone remember the fucking words to this?"
-
I believe in MVP in the truest sense of the word Therefore I still think it's McNair. Without him, Tennessee would be nothing
-
Dammit, come on Eagles, I'd rather see you get HFA than the DamnRams
-
And McNabb tosses a pick on the first play of the game
-
If Philly and St Louis tie out, who gets HFA?
-
They have the setup matches, but not the big blowoff match (HH'93)? Beyond that, decent match listing, although I would've also had Foley and Sullivan vs Nasties from Slamboree '94 also, can someone clarify what the term "potato(ing)" means in wrestling?
-
What're you talking about... (Raven) Vince would never (D-Lo) and I mean (Buchanan) eeeeveeerrrrrrr (Goldust) release someone (Crash) right after pushing them following a downtime
-
What about a maskless Asai jobbing on Velocity? Yeah right, more like jobbing in Dark matches and house shows. Or Vince urinating on a maskless Asai

What about a maskless Asai jobbing on Velocity?

Worse, he became Konnan's Mini-Me
-
Lawyer Milloy stole the playbook a week before that game Next week will be different

Yeah it is. In fact on the Rey DVD when he went back to Mexico he didn't wear the mask cause he would have been dead if he did. There were some scenes though where he was wearing the mask there, like in that arena or that training facility Granted, those were indoors, but even at the training place I woulda thought someone else would point that out (though I imagine they used "tactful editing")
-
Isn't remasking in Mexico a death-penalty offense?
-
funny how things come around on the Rams. When Vermeil was coaching them with Warner at the helm, they became a huge sympathy story that almost everyone loved Then Martz's attitude and play calling turned them into a hugely unsympathetic story juggernaut team
-
Hmm...a month of T.V time, or no T.V time. I wonder which would be better. And sure, Juvi and Psicosis aren't in the WWE. That's not because they lost their masks. It's because Vince doesn't like their styles of wrestling, and/or attitudes. They got pushes after losing their masks in the WCW, remember? Long term, buddy, long term He gets a month of TV time, then gets dropped to Velocity and probably then gets released from the E because Vince got what he felt was the most out of UD (a minorly huge unmasking story with minimal followup) Question is, how would his career fare post-WWE if he lost the mask?

Come on Bengals, I want to see the Eagles get HFA, not the damn Rams

First got into wrestling around '84. Hulk Hogan brought it to the bigtime, but being an evil little kid, I couldn't stand his goody-goody take-vitamins-say-prayers-bla-bla-bla crap. Then I found the NWA with the kiss-stealin-wheelin-dealin-limousine-ridin'-jet-flyin'-son-of-a-gun-WHOOOO! and I was hooked Smarkism came to me first when I got the internet in summer of '97 and found out about assorted things both from the present and past, and then after the SS'97 incident the floodgates opened for me
-
Knowing the E's love for perpetuating good storylines on TV, he'll lose the mask, get a whole month (wow!) of TV time and then, bam, right back to Velocity with you, Asai Oh yeah, what happened to those other guys after WCW fell anyway? ReyRey put the mask back on like it never happened, which is a big no-no in mask traditionalism I dunno about the other two guys, but I can tell you where they aren't
-
That's WWE Logic (we can call it the Yoko rule)
-
The Observer being biased to puro comes as a shock to you people?
-
But his mask wasn't synonomous with his gimmick, character, and legacy like Ultimo's has. If you believe everything that's ever been said about the legacy of masks in wrestling, the mask is a definitive and tangible extension of the wrestlers themselves
-
While I want to see the Bengals game, I have to resign myself to radio because the cable went out
-
The first time I thought you were joking, but ....that's an actual class?

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2??
Slayer replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
Yeah I remember in Vegas vacation they had his daughter as a stripper. She has to earn money to pay for Eddie's son-and-grandson-all-in-one -
You sure? Point noted Plus after how they played up the importance of the mask on the DVD, while ignoring all of the maskless ReyRey era in WCW, I'd say they're not gonna do that anytime soon Provided you actually believe that
