Sidenote: I'm curious to know why TSM's sexual relations seem to harkon back to the '50s. Feigned innocence?
-
Yeowch, I saw that fumble too... Dammit I wanted the Titans to win too, first because of my Titan loving friend, and second because I hate the Colts (moreso Manning)
-
Oh well. Vikings have two almost-gimmes (not gonna get cocky) with Chicago and Arizona left, that'll make them 10-5, with the toss-up game against KC that has me worried... but hell, 10-6 is still much better to me than the other way around (i.e. the two previous seasons)
-
Allright, Vikings officially win the game and are now 8-5, and hopefully a win over a decent Seahawks team will quiet down the media at least a little bit. Unfortunately, Chicago couldn't hold their end of the deal and looks like the FudgePack is still going to be 1.5 games behind

Unfortunately, I have older (very antiquated) parents, meaning any little thing that raises the cost of a bill by 5-10 bucks results in continual bitching (moreso from the old man), not to mention they have that old person fear of newer technology. Welcome to my world. That describes my household to a T. Besides, anytime I try and convince them to get something that will obviously benefit me, they think I'm trying to scam them. Dames and Angel: Separated at Birth? Dun dun dunnnnnnn

Apparently I missed a 75 yd INT return for a TD by my Vikings, dammit Better catch NFLPT tonight

Or 17, something like that... I always pictured the continuous rollover in Menudo like rotating milk at a store... "Renaldo's expired... <producer throws Renaldo into trash bin, then opens up a fresh box with 14 y/o inside and puts him in Renaldo's place> ...now introducing: Julio!"

All I have to say is that it's about time Minnesota's defense started showing up again. If this were a couple weeks ago, Alexander would probably have 200 yards by now. On top of that, Holmgren's always been a thorn in the Vikings side, wether here or in Green Bay, so this makes the possible win that much more satisfying
-
I, too, shall never forget that episode, especially for that classic line from one Professor Hogan after seeing Wall on the building "...THAT'S THE WALL, BROTHER!"
-
The pathetic division leading Vikings, thank you And before anyone makes the "leading a shitty division" argument, it's true, they are, but don't act like they're the only ones

I'll say, I've been waiting for that since '00, like most of the college football world. Plus, as an OU liker (not quite full fan, but I do like them), as well as a full-blooded midwest kid, I want to see OU finally get redemption on Miami for all those losses in the 80's (when Miami beat OU three straight years, providing the only loss for OU in each year)
-
Fuck them. OU was undefeated, and Miami lost a game (albeit it was that cheap game against Washington). Plus Miami won their title anyway, and it should've been two in a row were it not for the "wait wait wait wait FLAG!" call last year
-
That makes four girls then. Color me wrong...

TD Vikings! 20-7 Minnesota
-
Minnesota was challenging the ruling that Alexander got in. That's why there was the delay. Thanks for the info
-
Alexander just scored for Seattle ("just" being as fast as Gamecast is updating) 13-7 Minnesota I really hate not having the game live in any form
-
Side note: I'm curious as to what Sakura and Yuna look like
-
I sure as hell thought OU did in '00. They beat the Cornfuckers, beat KSU twice and dominated sports-media darling FSU
-
Let me remind you of an oh-so painful scenario, all too familiar 1998, Kansas State is undefeated, including having finally beaten the big bad Cornfuckers, and rolls into the Big XII championship game. In that game, they find themselves struggling against A&M, and lose in double OT on a TD that never should have counted... if you saw them replaying it last night, you saw the A&M runner somersaulting OUTSIDE the pylon. It should've been a goalline stand, where KSU could've held A&M, IMO... it hurt badly, although it hurt even worse when a 1-loss KSU team got denied not only a BCS bowl slot, not only a NYD bowl slot, but got relegated to the f'king Alamo Bowl... You didn't have a close loss like this, and you'll still go to a BCS game (even if not the Sugar Bowl) and you may even still have an outside shot at splitting the national title, plus you still at least have won a national title in recent memory, so I don't think you need to say much else As for me, last night's win was a good first step towards healing the pain of that loss... at least the ghost of '00 is laid to rest as KSU avenges that 3-point Big XII loss to OU. Now all we need is that big crystal football...

Apparently the party idea got denied Looks like I'll be around
-
I think your Sooners became a victim moreso when they lost by 28 points
-
I like girls
-
...although, really, I suppose this could open up to either gender, seeing as how you can count the number of females on TSM on two hands Plus, given how short hair has become the big thing for women in the last five years, it wouldn't surprise me if WJM is in the minority of the TSM ladies

Only if you're a she-male
