It was at least good for providing one of the more funny WTF commercials ever to hype a game. "He cut my head off!" As for my personal list of disappointing games: FF8: the only post 32-bit FF I didn't like... with stupid confusing junctions, draw system of magic and "reallife" salary system MGS2: Raiden, 'nuff said. Plus, too much "movie", not enough action. Those're the two biggest ones I can think of off my head. CC wasn't that bad to me, just too many secondary characters and quite possibly the most confusing story in console RPG history...

I believe we had this type of discussion in another thread about metal fans, and while I try to be an exception, I end up falling into the trap occasionally too Examples: Iron Maiden gets new different kind of vocalist in Blaze Bayley and gets shit on by fans. Judas Priest gets a very similar kind of vocalist in Tim Owens and gets shit on by fans. If a metal band rehashes the same album three or more times (see: most any power metal band ala Helloween or Hammerfall) they get shit on for being "stagnant". If they make a sudden change in style like, say, metal to electrono, in the cases of Paradise Lost or Theater of Tragedy, then they're shit on for suddenly changing styles and get slapped with the (other) "s" word. And that's not even getting into the likes of Metallica post-1996 or nu-metal/"mallcore" (the cans of worms which I'm not gonna open up here) I just try to listen to my metal and enjoy it, and occasionally bitch, but only because it's fun to.
