Conversely, I have to wonder what kind of precedent the police think they're showing the kids to bring (presumably) live firearms into a school. Would it have been better if they invaded with walkie talkies instead?

Noooooooooo... Although, I wouldn't mind seeing them go to the champ game if they get totally raped, Dirty Sanchezed and raped some more by OU like they did to A&M today If they run the schedule, it'll be like Tulane '98 or Marshall '99... it'll be a semi-good sports story, but they'll get about as much coverage from the sports media as any of the lowest bowl teams from any of the big 6 conferences

Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th

I remember seeing an issue of The New Republic in my HS library that had Batman and Robin on the cover, looking into each other's eyes, and Robin says "Oh Batman, I always wanted to tell you..." and it had to do with "The New Homosexual" (this was circa 1994, FYI, in the midst of Don't Ask Don't Tell and all that) I tried to find it to post, but alas, you'll have to deal with the mental image instead -
It is of my opinion that the Bret-Shawn Ironman Match, aka RestHoldMania, blew for pretty much all the reasons already said Also I read, somewhere in this thread, someone saying that a wrestler's main job is to draw money, and if that's how we define a great wrestler, then Flair definitely pulled his weight

To be honest, I've only seen the full SE version of ANH (in theater), and caught the tail end of ROTJ:SE (on TV), where I saw the added celebrations around the galaxy and the changing of the original celebration music. Should I be glad I haven't seen TEST:SE and the full ROTJ:SE?

Speaking of bannings, for shits and giggles, I decided to read through the helpful set of rules posted above and here's a funny thing I found: But then later on it says So if you've been banned, you will NOT be allowed back... unless you were banned as a gimmick poster, then you're allowed a second chance, but not if you were a "normal" poster? I are confoosed

Jessica Simpson:Dumb blonde or savvy businesswoman
Slayer replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
If that's the case, they're gonna go the way of MC Hammer real soon -
But then Olympic baseball fans wouldn't show up until the 3rd inning...

Not really, but working at the campus TV station, I've seen that one "Stacy's Mom" video quite a bit. I think the homage to Fast Times is pretty funny... I just wish the video would continue on to where Stacy comes in and finished the job for him

I considered writing a long parody script for this, but quite frankly I don't feel like it right now... RIAA wanted a viable yet appealing model for providing cheaper music online compared to CDs on a store shelf (and to reel in the more honest filesharers who actually want to see their favorite artists get compensation)... along comes Apple with said model, but the RIAA apparently is squeezing the system dry right off the bat, so much that it will not have any long-term viability. Now, I know people are gonna tell me about the objective of running a business and industry (money), but everything the RIAA has done to this point (including this) goes to show that it is forsaking the future for the present.

His actual birth name was Steve Anderson? He could've been the fourth Anderson! Arn and Steve Anderson, Minnesota Wrecking Crew III (I'm not counting the lame masked team)

... You say that like slapping hands is something they have to go out of their way to do. How about slapping asses?

Jessica Simpson:Dumb blonde or savvy businesswoman
Slayer replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
I'm not even gonna bother reading that whole thing <puts big red 'X' in "Dumb blonde' box> If she is a savvy businesswoman, then Anna Nicole is a fat female Einstein -
Maybe Vyce is a metrosexual with the stars and bars on his truck In that case, Dean is perfect for him

Lou Thesz: Have you ever went through his posts...

Interesting read, and a shame he is no longer around to shine a light on true wrestling history -
Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th
Slayer replied to Yuna_Firerose's topic in Television & Film
how about no homoerotic pictures at all? But that would be no fun. *claps, points* Exactly! Good thing I have my powers to ignore Yuna's pictures Your slash fanart is powerless against me! <heroic pose~> -
"Dammit, the one time we actually need someone to shout it..."

Explain please (though I've never seen ET, original or newer version, so it may be more trouble than it's worth for you) I know this one. Roughly, there were some people looking for the alien, and they were carrying guns, then in the redone version they made it seem like they had walkie talkies. GHEY

Then give me one of yours. But then he'll only have two

I believe the "justification" was so Han wouldn't seem like a totally cold-blooded killer, even though that would fit in with his rogue smuggler character quite nicely. As for the redone scene itself, it just looks so horribly done and doesn't fit well at all, even if you haven't seen the original. Explain please (though I've never seen ET, original or newer version, so it may be more trouble than it's worth for you)

When was the last RAW to run from the Manhattan Center?
