Play action fake TD by Manning to Walters 23-14 Colts
-
Well, if there's anything Haslett is good for anymore, it's owning Tampa
-
Probably opening a can of works/asking for trouble here, but... I just happened to read through the "post your pic" thread (yes, all 25 pages of it) and then caught this thread here Was the joke/reality-of-the-situation ever revealed elsewhere? What was going on and who was she really? Angel, the curious n00b

I thought about this while making a post in the TNA folder... At Halloween Havoc '95, Hogan and Wight had their monster truck match, and it culminated with Hogan "accidentally" shoving Wight off the top of the supposedly tall building to his death... if death lasts ten minutes I never actually saw the event, but how did they do it? Was it not really that high up (i.e. they lied where they were)? Was there a platform for Wight to safely land on? Was it a camera trick?

Are you talking about Bobby Heenan?? Otherwise I can't figure out who you're talking about. Scott Levy (aka Raven, Johnny Polo at the time of this match) did commentary on the match with Gorilla, but I thought he was hilarious

Go Vikings, whoo! If they sweep the Packers this year, I will be a happy happy man, and I don't care if the Pack are "down on their luck" either.

And Vanderjackoff provides yet another 3 for Indy Colts 9-7

SANDWICH OF DOOM or DOUBLE PENETRATION OF MILD AGONY

If we're making comparisons to the Rockers and Hardys, then I have to introduce the inevitable "Which one will ascend to greatness while the other falls into chemical-induced hell?" question

Vanderjagoff kicks a FG, Dolphins only up 7-3 now

In a way, I'll agree with that. Anything that makes Chris Elliot not funny can't be a good thing. But still, I remember watching the first 2-3 episodes with the new crew in '95 and thinking, essentially, "WTF is this?" Hence, I'd only tune in after 11PM for 15 minutes or so to catch WU with Norm If you say so. I'll leave that as opinion and nothing more. Are you so sure about that? To me it seemed like they were taking all their new gimmick characters for the new crew and using them to death. You know that there were only two Wild and Crazy guy sketches in the five years of Akroyd being on and Martin recurring several times on SNL? Hell, there were probably 10 Mary-Catherine Gallagher and Spartans Cheerleader sketches each in the first new crew season alone.

Pretty much the same here After the Spring '95 exodus of almost everyone and bringing a shitload of new and unfunny faces (face it, Will Ferrell = not funny) and overused gimmick characters, I only watched for WU with Norm, then after he left, I said fuck it

Amazingly enough, I knew one, sorta. She was a Korean from Alabama, and sounded every bit of it. Dunno if I'd say she was white trash, but she towed the line

The Arkansas-Kentucky apparently just finished now at 11AM, Sunday morning, with Arkansas winning by a score of 378-376 in the 51st OT.

The argument for getting a credit card for your kid is twofold... on the one hand, the earlier you get their name on creditors' lists as being good liability, the earlier they can have a good credit line (I didn't get my first CC until I was 20 and on my own..), but, of course, the possibility for your kids to fuck up and fuck up HARD is always there, and we all know how forgiving creditors are. Huh? TV Show? <looks at thread title> Oh, it's on eMpTyV, no wonder I haven't heard of it. My box is programmed to automatically skip over it when I'm channel surfing.

Like this thread should be torn down I'm with Raven1919, good initial laugh, but the followup left me with a WTH (it doesn't warrant WTF level) feeling

The football program's been around for over a century, of course they have Even if you limit it to the last 5 years, they lost their '99 bowl game to Mississippi State, which was their last loss before kicking off the '00 championship season

For some reason, I've always thought this to be an urban legend... it floats around in smark history discussions, but I've never really seen it substantiated in any way (granted, we discuss unsubstantiated items all the time), and I'm skeptical about it's occurence
-
BTW, I've always thought flip flops were good for chucking at people

As far as if I became rich, I'd pretty much run the standard fare... first, for myself, all I desire is a decent house, decent car and, of course, kickass home entertainment center. Lifetime tickets to my sporting teams of choice would be good too. After that, then all the altruistic shizzle: ensure economic wellbeing of immediate family, donate to charities of choice, establish trust fund for future offspring, etc. As for raising children under wealth, my parents are fairly affluent, but they knew how to raise us right... now I was a bit more spoiled, being the youngest child, but I've learned my lesson over the years, probably a lot better than other spoiled kids, and I'd make sure my kids understood value and all that before giving them any large amounts of money/valuable items And definitely a clunker car when they start driving. Teens + sports cars = bad bad bad
