While it would be expensive, to be sure, I don't think it'd be a good idea anyway, as not every episode was a great gem, either due to extremely bad movie, not-very-good jokes, or a combination thereof Though I would very much mark out for complete season 3 (the strongest Joel season IMO) and the complete first Sci-Fi season (Mike's strongest IMO) Edit: Though it'd be very unlikely to happen, I'd like to see a single DVD release of Phase IV, which was the only good MST episode from when it was a local Minneapolis show

Oh, well then... sweet Now about that RaS set...

Don't put words in my mouth. You said it. I was just chuckling at the irony within Anglesault's pair of sentences.

I see HHH still has his way with Vince... The hell? Perhaps I was too subtle with this Chinese Hunters I N Kungfu Suits Of course, now that I think about it, when does the 'E' ever use subtle humor? They like to point out their own jokes immediately so they can laugh at them while the audience groans.

My animated dream set would include Ren and Stimpy season 1 (bonus would be John K. commentary) and The Critic

http://icejerseys.com/vintage_pittsburgh_penguins.php The very first year jersey, no logo, just name Take it for what you will
-
For all your NHL uniform reference needs Both current and old school Though I see now that the triangle skating penguin logo has been with the franchise since its second year of existence, so that wouldn't change much

You could always go back to the ice blue unis from pre-1980

Something seems ironic here... I can't quite put my finger on it

Al Wilson, part II

Provided they size them down a bit for easier use... yes

Side conversation here, but you know another possible "curse" I think that gets undersold? The "curse" of the Black Sox The White Sox won the WS twice in the early 1900's, then after the Black Sox scandal didn't see the postseason again for 40 years (one year longer than that other Chicago team's time during their longest postseason drought), and then spaced 24 years before it saw the postseason again. Granted, they never had any major postseason collapses, although I imagine a couple years ago when they had the best record in the AL and promptly got swept by Seattle was rather disheartening. Again, I don't put much stock into "curses"... I mean, Anaheim was a historically unlucky franchise too (1982, 1986, 1995), and they got theirs finally
-
Well, I can't speak for the majority of Sox fans, but being one myself, I don't put any stock into it. Poor management and playing has cost them in the past, and it cost them in game 7 by not yanking Pedro early in favor of Timlin, who showed he could hold his own against Yankee bats the entire series. So, as a Sox fan (also a Reds fan to note, but that ain't important now, except for the Arron Boone thing), I fall back on the only other thing I got: Rootin' against the Yanks

And Florida goes up 1-0

I wasn't saying the original unis sucked... hell, I loved those original unis too. My point was the redesign that would have to come with the franchises moving could have resulted in some shitty unis given the trend that was being established in sports logos in the early 90's (going back to my statement earlier), but the Avs and Hurricanes unis turned out to be pretty good, IMO. The symbol doesn't make sense, but I'm guessing Vancouver is apparently a team doomed to have shitty logos (block with stick in it, Flying V, the skating blade, current) I mean, after all, how the hell does one symbolize a "Canuck" (obvious cultural jokes aside)?
-
And the jerseys in the movie were ugly too. Hell, the fact they even made a franchise after the movie was bad in itself. If you say so... I dunno WTF that logo was though... looked like what would happen if Picasso designed sports logos If you say so... again... I think in the cases of this and the old Phoenix uni that that shade of red and that shade of green used as they were was just bad I saw that, looks allright, though I still miss the classic red uni with white C... Also, this year's unis page from the nhluniforms website still has the horsehead jersey as an alternate, though I would shed no tears if it were dumped It's just not the same (too different a design), IMO <insert old joke about why Flyer fans wear orange> You bought one? Haha Though I'm guessing the overwhelming stench of the '96 jerseys were so strong even you could not disagree with those

SORRY Like I said, I don't have the advantage of TV and comp in same room, hence why it's hard for me to keep up on the game But yes, I miss the joviality of TMOTTBG (see, acronyms aren't always your friend)

Game Boy Advance? Seriously, what?

"Now... stay! Good bench."
-
Oh yeah, the score went to 3-2 sometime while we were talking (have to keep checking TV in other room) Although Florida is threatening to add some runs now

Side note: How dare you remove your avatar with Christy Romano and replace it with that! I'm blind... </notserious> And MST still owns

I was talking about the '99 NLCS, which I broke off of a tangent when I initially said nothing was really interesting about the '99 postseason, which I realize was essentially on the AL side, as games 5 and 6 from the NLCS were fierce.
