If by "funny" you mean "arousing", then... maybe
-
but she was fucking annoying as fuck And even if she was, Rebecca was much worse than her

I thought the Incest-O-Rama gang-bang episode was pretty funny

I'd have to go with the notion this is just the most hated list, rather than the worst characters list Diane (spec. her relationship with Sam) was crucial to driving the show's plot. How they can justify having her on this list and yet not have that sorry excuse of a replacement for her (who I shall not name) is beyond me

What was that guy's name? I can't remember for the life of me And also, when and why did he leave and what is he doing today?

<L> Quite allright, there I've not been fully watching at all since 2002, really I was a devout fan up until the WCW acquisition and botched Invasion, then pretty much said "fuck it" and didn't watch from Sept '01 to Dec '02, when I decided to start watching again, although only on and off due to scheduling conflicts with work and school (and shitty storylines)

"Let's see-uh... we'll assign-uh 1,000 points to any match-uh with myself, Nash-uh or Michaels, and then to everyone else, we'll make their match worth... a million-uh points"

Was there any need to resurrect this black hole? In two forms even?
-
Holy saturation, Batman That's a lot of DVDs... where to start...

"Czech, don't believe what they're saying, I always keep my eyes on the chat, I don't miss a thing" "We now return to the Smart Marks Forum..." "Holy crap, Ripper's black?!"

Don't forget Demott's main event feud with Rikishi

Does this mean we now get to hear the women loudly call out their spots before they blow them?
-
Do they ever say anything negative about Austin? And anyone who does get off a nice insult usually just gets countered with a slur of "hell damn ass sonofabitch and that's the bottom line..." and/or a stunner

Well lets say there was a white guy named... Lesse Lackson. All of a sudden, Lesse claims that he is a representative of all white people(adimitidly this would be tough seeing as white people are seen as individuals unlike the rest of the minorities in this country, but thats another rant) and everytime a black guy said something that could be construde as racist, Lesse comes in with his followers(that make up a minute about of the race, mind you) and boycotts, sues, or whatever and the press shoves cameras in his face. Then they do a poll, of the white people there that are supporting Lackson and say on the knews that 95% of white people agree with these tactics. Lackson and his lawyers on the other hand, gets a out of court settlement out of court with the people he has bullied into the bad press and takes a percentage before giving it to a "worthy cause" (aka, the lawyers and big press affiliates). Continue this cycle. Add a few more guys like Sal Harpton to fight the "cause" and then you have just as much rawkus when black say shit as whites. As it is, whites protest and boycott black statements just as much as whites...but who do they shove the cameras on and who gets labeled as the ones crying "racism". Lauryn Hill, there were CD burnings by white groups after she said " I write my music from a black point of view and for black people so when some white people don't get it, its understandable." There was outcry, Lauryn was a racist...blahblahblah. But the cameras weren't all over the place. There was no Lesse Lackson there to bring cameras and make speechs. So basically the same uprising on Lauryn Hill goes unknown while if 4 black people get pissed over something, there apparently is a uproar in the black community. Okay I get it Wait, are we arguing or agreeing here? I forgot..

I tend to think that's the way it is a lot of the time. Personally I think the whole "who can say what" thing should be uniform, either everyone be open and not get punished (my preference), or everyone get punished equally (not my preference, but at least it'd be uniform) Explain please. Didn't the Matrix movies teach you anything? <g> Perception is bigger than reality.

I think they suspended Rocker a month...but then again, Bud Selig is a fucking moron. I believe it was originally a month, but then got appealed down to 8-10 games.

We're already halfway there Like in college football when teams go to bowl games and they put the sponsors name patch (and to a much lesser extent, the bowl name) on their jersey e.g. the "TOSTITOS Fiesta Bowl" and the "FED EX Orange Bowl" Combine that with the huge advertisments that are most of the stadiums themselves (Generic Cellphone Park! Generic Airline Dome! Generic Orange Juice Field!), and all the other previous beefs mentioned, and this is the ad oversaturated sports world we live in.

Lets not be confused here. Rocker was more villified because he insulted NEW YORK, not different races. New York...media central, and he had the nerve to insult its people. THAT is why the media jumped down his throat. If he said that shit about Seattle, he would have caught half the flack. Again, I'll have to half-agree with you there. While I know that NYCers are defensive about their city (lost a month of my life there, abso-f'king-lutley hated it), it seemed like everything I heard in response, from radio hosts like Jim Rome (pious SOB for whom my hate could fill a whole 'nother thread) on down to street-interviews were pretty much saying "How dare he talk about bad Asian women drivers and unwed 20 y/o mothers with four kids like that!"

How many movies does this put on Rock's plate now, and for how long?
-
Strangely enough, I saw a syndicated episode with Seven the other day... I thought (since I never saw them beyond the original airings) that all episodes from the Seven season were banned because of a) the embarassment of Seven and b) Katey Sagal's miscarriage and thus the screwed up pregnancy angle I could've been wrong though

I'd say his career was blah even before 1994... save for his feud with Warrior (which I don't remember having any TV matches, just house show circuit matches) and two matches with Hogan in 1991, and the short-lived feud with Roberts in early 1992, what else did he do? Mid to late '92: Feuded with Kamala over two PPVs (SSlam and SSeries) Most all of '93: Feuded with Giant Gonzales over three PPVs (RR, WM9 and SSlam) and began the Yoko feud (and you know what that led to) So really, his career started off strong then flatlined for a LONG time before Foley helped his career in 96 And even then, he was mired in crap for late 96 and 1997 (complete with unimpressive title reign) before HITC1 and Kane helped spark his career and Foley again set it on fire with HITC2

I half-agree with Ripper. I doubt a white player would be suspended (just fined), but he'd be much more villified in the media than Sapp was (a la Rocker). As for Sapp himself, he just naturally draws attention from the media with his mouth and actions, whether his play is good or not. Hell, that's true for sports in general (see: Dennis Rodman)

Call me f'king nuts ("you're fucking nuts!"), but I want to see another Triple H DVD, a real Triple H DVD, not the lame one-match (okay, two matches, and one not his, but I'm not complaining) DVD from before, but one that has his matches from a time that we all want to remember: When he was good in the ring. My dreamlist: vs. Rock I (Ladder, SS'98) vs. Foley (HITC, NWO'00) vs. Rock II (Backlash '00) vs. Rock III (Ironman JD'00) vs. Jericho (LastManStanding FL'00) vs. Austin (3 Stages of Hell, NWO'01) w/Austin vs. Benoit/Jericho (RAW is Quad I) Possibly throw in the Foley street fight that was on the first DVD (depending on your marketing POV). Hell, the 'E' is gonna promote Golden Boy #2 no matter what, so might as well do it right
-
I barely watched RAW last night (Sox game), but I did catch the weak-ass excuse of a Stunner he put on her. As for why he can do what he can? He's the Golden Boy, plain and simple, and without the other two members of the Golden Triangle, he has free reign.

Metal/Rock: Kiss. They created the popular form of metal for showmanship over substance, and essentially begat future pop metal bands like Poison and Shrimp Bizkit. Although I enjoy some of their songs, such legacy is not so forgivable Rap: Ja Rule. Made his career from ripping off Tupac Country: Shania. Pure disgrace to the genre, nuff said.
