I think LJ got the whole 'net socialization bit out of my system, so at this point I refuse to get a myspace... especially when people from my past, of whom most I do not wish to reassociate with, would find it and then most likely flood my comment section with Gary Floyd's favorite internet pictures

I did the Livejournal thing earlier this decade, and I thought that if anything Myspace was the dumbed down version of that... I mean, LJ didn't allow users to do nearly a quarter of the brain-melting things that Myspace allows

So what does that say about the state of relief/closing pitching

The other day I listened to YCD1 (the whole thing, as I'd had some songs on my YCD comp that I listen to more frequently) for the first time in awhile, and damn there's a lot of crap on there... I think in another Zappa thread I recommended starting off with this one because it's where I started (with the whole series, really), but there's just so much filler on there, especially on Disc 1 with F&E crap and not-good-stuff from the Roxy band, that I regret ever making such a recommendation "The Mammy Anthem" almost makes the whole damn thing worth it though

Try to ride it out until fall

Thankfully Inc put no such restriction on Matt Young, else I would not have been able to utilize that two-degrees-of-separation gem

I'm thankful to be absolved from such a difficult decision

God yes, I hate that fucking commercial. That commercial sucks, for sure, but I think an even worse one is where the father says to his kids "Hey guess what, now you can text and call your friends as much as you want" "We do that anyway" "Yeah but now your mom can quit her second job" *boing!* As if to say "Don't worry kids, you can run up the bill to your heart's content and we'll go ahead and pay it"

On the other side, if I was a fan of a team that took this direction, I'd be hesitant at best and miffed at worst, given how past situations have shown that after 2-3 years the team is almost always worse off than it was before and the coach either gets the boot or leaves on their own and returns to college and no one is better off.

I do a lot of country driving for my job, and while I admire the scenery... no, I'm not dragging that drive out

So he went from "I want to elevate Florida into a program that can be mentioned in the same sentence as Kentucky, UNC and Duke" to "I've done everything I can here... Bye!" I agree with Czech's statement earlier... he'll be back in college by the end of the decade
