RE: Procedural Note (Taking Legal Action)

Thanks for the birthday wishes, btw. I'm glad that for the remainder of my years I can associate my 30th with you threatening suit against two of my good internet friends
  2. I was doing pretty well in this thread until my exchange with Inc

Comments that don't warrant a thread

At this point it's not really that difficult to get your letter read if you refer to one of his beloved soundbites, which of course leads to him playing said soundbite, guaranteed everytime. He's become like a morning drive DJ with his love of constantly replaying the same soundbites again and again. "Dear (losing team), Tell me how my ass tastes. Sincerely, (winning team)" Also, he needs to bring back the classic buzzer already. Rome just saying AAAAAAHHHHHHH is fucking annoying

Spurred by discussion of "Ride Like the Wind" with Czech the other day we (well, I) started discussing metal covers of non-metal songs. Three favorites that immediately come to mind (I'll think of others in due time): (Christopher Cross) Video has that "80's WTF" quality to it, but I can't complain about watching cute women in tights running around Celtic Frost - "Mexican Radio" (Wall of Voodoo) Therion - "Summernight City" (ABBA) Share your favorites¹ ¹Please note that mentioning any cover (I know two, at least) of "Baby One More Time" is grounds for immediate dismissal from this thread
  6. How about Ben's two minute drill from the 12 yard line (after that holding penalty on the first play)? Does that go up there with Montana and Elway's famous drives?
  7. I am sorta, if only because the thought of Bidwill with the Lombardi makes me ill

We just need to evolve beyond that btw, you still live here? I figured you as one of those kids that would bolt from here as soon as you graduated from HS

It was Roberts' first inauguration too, can you blame him?!

    Barack Obama's Inauguration

So really it was a false start and then a fumble

    Barack Obama's Inauguration

actually I was referring to "My Country Tis of Thee", more familiar to you under a different (and very ironic, in this case) name

    Barack Obama's Inauguration

    Sound familiar, Chris?

List things that don't interest you

I'm with you on that one. I'm fairly certain you have to pass some sort of "asshole test" if you want to live there. We have the same thing here with New York

  21. So for the second time in four years we have the Steelers vs. an NFC West team in the SB, except people actually care about the NFC West team this time For the most part I'm neutral in this, although a good part of me does not want to see the Bidwill family with a Lombardi trophy

    AFC Championship Thread

I originally thought of "toaster in the bathtub" but then realized hairdryer would add that extra bit of cruel irony... irony which I was fairly certain, even with the pretense, would be lost on some people Thanks for proving me right!
