One interesting thing I heard from a friend of Cary Silken is that Rob is gone, and hasn't profited a thing since it happened, but that they are still finalizing the closure of the deal (IE: Money to Rob to leave). If that's the case, then they won't file anything until the deal is actually finished.

How can you say it was a stupid analogy? It's no stupider than judging the workers in a match based on a factor they can't control. To an extent they can try to get a crowd into a match, which they did last night, but past that a match shouldn't be rated higher because of its geographical location. If WWE ran a show in a country for the first time ever, and the first match was Nathan Jones vs. Albert, and it was the biggest embarrasment in years, the crowd would probably still eat it up because they haven't seen WWE before. Does their match deserve a high rating for this? Chicago is a hot town. They are hot for matches. They would have been even hotter had it been better. I guess it all depends on frame of reference, but after getting done with 3 long comp tapes of Jumbo 6-mans from 90/91/92, last night's tag was so unadavanced and average to me that I wouldn't rate it high at all.

And yes, the deals have a 1 year option for TNA, another thing many of the dumbass wrestlers had no clue about when they were lead by the nose into these contracts. Further, it appears that TNA is using the vague word "competition" as their legal excuse to deny their workers a place to work, citing RoH's national DVD deal.

Of course, a quick check of the PA DoR absolutely does not confirm what he says. Further, there were no RoH updates on 1W for the 2 weeks before the Feinstein incident. When his deal is restructured, he has more than enough power to demand the ability to work Ring Of Honor. The bottom line is that TNA has breached its workers trust. They were told they would be completely free agents on the weekends, but now they're being told where they can't work. Even Bob Fucking Barnett has a column up saying TNA is in the wrong, mocking that joke of a contract.

No, he makes 800 a week for TNA. He makes over 1000 for ROH. Raven makes 1,500 for TNA, and is the highest paid worker outside of Jarrett.

Leave a promotion that pays him less than ROH, breached his trust, overstepped their bounds, and is just going to get kicked off of fox in 13 weeks when their shitty program gains them no viewers? He signed the contract with a garauntee he'd be a free agent on the weekend. TNA has broken that promise.

The document is a joke by any business law standards. Ask any lawyer advising a client if they'd ever have their client sign something like that...the answer would be no. The problem is that it holds them financially liable if Feinstein is found to be involved in ANY capacity. What does this mean? If Feinstein still owns the Lexus bought by the company, is this grounds? If a bitter wrestler gets fired and says Feinstein is still involved, is this grounds? If Bob Barnette goes online and says a friend heard RF on the phone (he's done this), is that grounds? TNA needs to define what Rob being "back in any capacity" means. Nobody in their right mind would sign over financial liability on a contract that uses the term "any." It's amateur-hour in the Indies again. The contract needs to say: If Rob Feinstein is found to have any owning interest in the company...XXX Beyond this, it's a breach of trust of their workers. I know that Daniels is pissed as hell, and I'm sure the others are too. They were told when they signed the contracts that they would be free agents on the weekends, but now TNA is taking that away without paying them more. TNA said it needed a signed assurance that Feinstein is gone to show to the cable companies. They got that. Now they've added a vague financial liability clause that any lawyer would wipe his ass with. The real irony is that TNA is going to take all these guys and put them to waste, while ROH creates new stars. When Daniels' contract is up, he is going to bolt, and I wouldn't be surprised if others do too. Those contracts end in June, don't they? Maybe there's a reason Gabe has said he won't strip AJ unless he's not back by June

The paperwork apparently said ROH would be financially responsible for any losses TNA would incur from the relationship, and Silkin wouldn't sign it. Doug signed the part saying Rob was gone, but Silkin was unwilling to put himself in a position where he could be financially punished for just about anything.

Eddie right now is nowhere near as good as Vader once was. More and more I'm seeing that Eddy is only a shell of what he once was. Outside of the Brock and Rey matches, his defenses have been average.
