This is from the PA Department Of Justice Filing Information Section, where it instructs corporations what to do: It is not common to get notarization on a change of ownership in PA when it is a business corporation. It's not how things are done. The ironic thing is that anyone can go get a notary stamp in 10 minutes, it's not a hard thing to do, and wouldn't prove anything, yet people act as if that's the determining factor of this whole thing.

Typical nonsense from someone without a clue. It has been pointed out many times that PA law does not require notarization or any filings when an ownership change occurs in a business corporation (which is what ROH and RFV are filed as). All that is required is the signatures of both parties and the letter from the lawyer. That is what they have. Who are you to set standards for them above the law? What proof could they show you that would make you happy? Would RF have to be dead? Please explain what proof would make you believe he's gone. Dave has said for months that there is growing jealousy in TNA over the way ROH is praised and they are criticized. Punk has also had heat for months for putting over ROH on his website, and not TNA. I wanna try to start a constructive thread for this forum, since I do know that SOME TNA people definitely do read this board What does TNA need to do to get ready for a national show on FSN? All indications are that the deal is closer than ever. I even heard that TNA is pretty much now banking it all on this deal going through. Once the deal goes through though, they aren't in the clear. Here are some questions to answer: 1) Fox has cut programming with good ratings in the past....what does TNA need to do in their first month to establish a big fanbase? 2) How can they make themselves a clear alternative? 3) Which workers currently on the show need to be released? In other words, which guys are too green, too embarrasing, and/or too campy to be on a nationally televised program (this is a big one). 4) Which guys out there on the Indies can be stars at a national level? Who has the most potential to hit it off big? 5) Where do you go with the title? Do you vacate it in the big cage match, leading to a title tournament to start TNA's new era? Or do you keep it on JJ? I'll chime in with my thoughts later...just wanted to get the ball rolling on something like this. People "in the know" expect Daniels and Styles to leave RoH for TNA, just as I expect Sabin and others to as well. This can only be happening if a TV deal is iminent.

Oh give me a break on this. Mike still says his source sticks by the story that it has nothing to do with Feinstein, and this source has been right about all of the other stuff in this story so far. TNA had been upset with wrestlers saying they prefer ROH over TNA for months, and they've jumped on a chance to take advantage of it. Bob Ryder posts some news that makes his OWN COMPANY look good, and you people take it as fact.

It's a bullshit number. Nobody checked it because the company was going out of business. Email Dave asking, and after he's done laughing, he'll send you the real buyrate. Assuming TNA will get more than ECW just because of national TV is a huge assumption too. ECW's fanbase, while small, was fanatically dedicated, and would buy everything. By the end of WCW's run, they were pulling similar buyrates and smaller attendances with national television.

I'll make a longer post tomorrow, but there are definitely guys that have to go. The Red Shirt Security are nowhere near the level of being on national TV. Any show with Erik Watts immediately lowers its status by about 5 notches, the same goes for Glen Gilberti.

He had an awesome Smackdown! match with Kurt Angle, and had a great match with Steve Austin within his first few months in the company.

Yes, HHH vs. Guerrero lost viewers, which is almost unheard of, especially for such a "dream interpromotional match." I think it's a heavy indictment of the uselessness of the brand split, given that the first free interpromotional match given away did not do a blockbuster rating.

It's going to be: HHH vs. Shawn vs. Benoit Orton vs. Foley Flair/Batista vs. Shelton/Cade Kane vs. Edge Jericho vs. Christian Victoria vs. Molly Add another throwaway match and you have the card.

I don't think that point holds water, because it's not as if these guys only work ROH and take the rest of the month off. Most of them work grueling indy schedules, driving for hours on end to reach shows all around the country. I don't think you could find a single worker in the business that has worked both Styles and Dragon that would say Styles is better. Dragon is quite arguably the top worker in the world, and while Styles is getting damn good, he was still carried by Dragon at 11/1, though not as much as he was in their first match, which was one of the biggest carry-jobs ever. I stand by my point on volume of good matches. For workrate, entertainment value, and variety, I will take RoH's 1/10/04 over Wrestlemania any day. The same goes for the minor show in Maryland that I just saw.

The fact that you choose Styles hurts your cred on this. American Dragon is a better worker than any of the above, and the bottom line is that while many of the above are good, outside of Michaels, they don't get to work long matches most of the time. I'll take CM Punk's body of work in the last year over pretty much any of those guys. The same goes for Samoa Joe, Homicide, The Briscoes, etc. While the potential is disgustingly great for WWE workers, they don't come close to realizing it. When looking at the roster, we should be getting 3 or 4 ***+ matches every single week. But that's not what happened. In terms of volume of great matches, the 2 RoH shows I've seen from 2004 sure smoke the first 2 WWE PPVs. The same goes for volume of great matches in 2003. The amount of great matches being produced in RoH smokes the amount being produced in the WWE. The fact that the WWE does 7 times as many shows as ROH, but still doesn't have a comparable body of great matches says a lot.

With the exception of Matt Stryker, whose inexplicable push is the sole example of retarded elevation.

The fact that a few guys are being used better doesn't make up for other horrible misuse. RoH lets guys go out there for 15-20 minutes and lets them try to steal the show. If they get over, and the fans dig the match, they'll get elevated. If not, back to the midcard and scrambles they go. There is no glass ceiling, everyone works with everyone, and everyone tries to make the others look like a million bucks.

Best promotion, as in best wrestling, best buildup to blowoffs, strongest feuds, best use of workers.

I think it's idiotic to assume he's responsible when his singles main events have been flopping in the ratings for over a year. Hell, his singles match with Eddy Guerrero, the hottest ratings guy the WWE has, LOST VIEWERS. Clearly there are other things influencing that pickup.

Because they'd be hurting the best wrestling promotion in the country by a longshot. Something damn well worthy of a boycott in my opinion.

TNA isn't asking their wrestlers to be exclusive. They are asking them not to work for ROH.

There is a strong crossover of fans. They would be hurt by a boycott. They were FREAKING OUT when ROH fans emailed fox. Further, the original sources of this story said it had absolutely nothing to do with the Feinstein thing anyway, so this whole debate is pointless. This is a promotion jealous of the success of another jumping on an opportunity to try to fuck with them. The real irony is that if they do get all those guys to leave, ROH would make new stars, and TNA would probably still misuse them.

I predict ROH keeps using the guys, and in exchange they put TNA vids/DVDs onsale at RFV and their shows. Too bad nobody will buy them.
