These matches are really a sad commentary. Watching the crowd get rabidly into AJ vs. Ki, when Ki hadn't been around for months, just because the action was so good reminds me of how TNA used to differentiate itself. Of course, seeing Russo towering over Styles reminded me of how stupid that was. I mean, did you hear the crowd pop in that 3-way when AJ won the title? That's what TNA used to do--things you would never see on WWE TV.

He's right about Scherer not watching the show. Buck Woodward watches the show every week, and basically says the same thing. Hell, 95% of people watching the show are saying what Scherer said, to dismiss it because Scherer doesn't watch is absurd. Borash is back on the bong, all he needs is a TNA live show. All signs are pointing towards buyrates being consistently well under 10,000 for the first time in their history. Cable sources of Scherer, Meltz, and Keller are all saying the same thing--buyrates are on a downward trend. They need to right the ship instead of "feuding" with internet writers.

Rocky and Ricky are both really good. Walters is good, Daniels is great, Aries is good, haven't seen Dux, and who knows if Psicosis can put on a good show. My bet is Walters over Daniels in the finals.

My guess is they're doing it Tory style, which means 10 men at once, with pure insanity, tons of dives, tons of action, with pinfall eliminations. It would be stupid to blow the Rey big win over Chavo here, I'd like to see them put over someone else.

I have no clue what his job is, I know he gets paid for the stuff he does in the PWI elite section. Teddy has no credibility at all. He worked his injury at TNA, ripping everyone off who paid to see him. He has been kicked out of almost everywhere he's been because of bad attitude, yet we're supposed to believe that CM Punk started shit with him. Give me a break. The story MKJ got didn't even mention a legbar, which is the story Teddy was referring to, which appeared on 1wrestling.

As it turns out, the whole shows ARE in full on these first ones, except for 2 embarrasing matches being cut out.

Keller is reporting that Spanky will be signing a TNA deal when his 90 days are up. This is not true, Spanky has already signed a long-term(ish) Z-1 deal, and will work around it, a la Low Ki.

Why is this turning into Raven-Punk? What happens after Mania, Eddy pours beer down Angle's throat? Eddy is a way better Raven than Raven, but Angle can't hold Punk's jockstrap on the mic. That straight-edge promo was a disaster.

So for their April 23rd debut in St Paul Minnestoa, which was already going to be a tough sell, they now have competition. WWE announced today that it's running St Paul Friday the 23rd as well. In addition, they also announced that their June 13th PPV is in Dayton--one day after RoH's show in Dayton. Purposeful swipes? Pure coincidence? You decide!

It's arguable on that one. Mania is different because the attendance isn't locals that have RoH accessible to them all the time. The majority of the audience is going to be flying in, and a lot of RoH fans, flying in for mania, will take their chance to see RoH live the one time they're in New York. Nobody is going to fly in for Bad Blood, and it's much more likely that locals will say, "We'll just wait till next time they come back."

The problem is they're just trying to get the average wrestling fan with nothing to do on a friday night to come to their show. It's hard to do that when the WWE is in town, unless you reduce your GA prices drastically.

There's no way he sees them as a threat, but I don't think he'd mind taking a swipe.

Teddy has been called "legit nuts" by many people that have worked with him in the past.

Meltzer is reporting that most backstage think it's a work.

That hasn't been confirmed yet, and I'll be really disappointed if that's the case. Tenzan put on a HELL of a performance at 2/15, and it'd be a shame to see his title run cut off prematurely for a second time.
