I thought I made the reason pretty damn clear. Eddy had a problem, and then went and fixed it. He worked numerous Indy dates to prove that he was back in shape too. Scott Hall, on the other hand, has never made any noticable effort to clean up, has been actively drunk wrestling on shows before, and hasn't put forth a good effort in the ring in nearly 5 years. Maybe if Eddy repeatedly has this problem, lies about it, and proceeds to never work hard in the ring again--then I'll want Punk to shoot on him.

I don't think it's a work, but I do think he'll be back. There was one person in attendance who repeated this exact story on the roh boards a month ago, but refused to name names, and when you plug Joe in it matches, and he confirmed today it was Joe he was talking about. He witnessed the whole pull-apart, etc. Eventually however, I'm sure he'll be back, and it will be worked into an angle.

Last week, the HHH/HBK interview segment was a bomb in the ratings. If it does a high QH this week, then it will be due to Benoit in all fairness. Let's wait for the quarter hours. One mega overrun does not=.4 higher than usual unless it's REALLY huge.

These days, you can tell if a crowd is interested in a long promo if they don't do "WHAT" inbetween. After seeing the segment, I don't think it did anything for anybody, and it wasn't Benoit's fault. Lesnar's belt was buried as inferior, and we don't know why Benoit wants this one. There better be a good explanation forthcoming.

Hero-Shelley wasn't much at all to me. One of my biggest problems with Hero is the way he wrestles smaller guys and doesn't even play that up. Chain wrestling with a guy a foot shorter than you just looks silly.

All I really want is Punk shooting on Hall for being an alcoholic. I'll pay 35 bucks for it.

Also, doing Raven-Styles saves Jarrett-Raven for down the line.

If Raven-Styles for the title is the main event, I don't mind that tag match as an uppercard one. Throw in Ki-Daniels, Ultimate X-2, AMW-Simon/Swinger, Abyss-Shamrock, and Lynn-Kash, and you're left with a perfectly good card.

Angle isn't much of a face worker, I agree. I honestly think Benoit-HHH could be ***-**** just based on Benoit alone, with HHH trying harder than usual to look good at Mania. Benoit is going to do the work of 5 men, and hopefully Hunter will bring it.
