From PWI: What do you guys think this could be? More TV time maybe? They haven't officially announced the Philly show, but I don't think that's big enough for all this hype.
-
Not that we didn't know this already, but can it now safely be said that Christian's drawing power > than Jarrett's. When Christian was on top and TNA had the hot Joe/Steiner feud going on, the numbers were over 1.0 pretty regularly.
-
Where has Steiner been? Has he appeared at all since the last PPV?
-
.8 again, according to PWI.

TNA is running Philly again in November, according to the WO. Here's what Meltzer posted in today's update:

I came across this article and thought it'd spark some good discussion. Here it is: credit: PWTorch Thoughts?

I've alway thought Slammy should be their big show too. Don't know why, but it just seems like a big event to me.

From Da Meltz:

this is probably the strongest top-to-bottom Impact line-up they've every put together (only the first Thursday even compares IMO). I might be out tonight, but I'll definitely be recording.

Update from Mike Johnson: -
Where'd you read this? I didn't see it on any of the major news sites. Just wondering...

From PWI: Could this be a BFG preview? Unless this is non-title, they can't possibly deliver a finish here. Jarrett can't beat Joe, especially not on a house show, and Joe can't win the title before the big show. Should be interesting....
-
That was even better than when Rhino did that spot with Jarrett at Turning Point! I really wanna see those three in a Monster's Ball now.

This program hasn't done much for Sabin, but damn if it isn't making a star out of Shelley. For that alone, Nash deserves a lot of credit IMO.

One of the byproduct's of this main event is that it should give TNA a chance to see that Joe is over enough to be THE top face, if there was any doubt. I thought the crowd might be split, but last week's promo showed that the crowd likes Rhino alot, but LOVES Joe. This show seems like a one-trick pony though. There's no killer LAX promo to compliment the strong main event like last week. I hope those guys did some backstage work though, because they have some nice momentum going. I'm guessing who ever wins the the 4-way will be positioned to job to Senshi at the PPV. I hope they give those guys some time. The one thing that's been missing from Impact lately, as strong as its been, has been the spotfests. I always think about that 6 man tag they ran on the first show this year. It was like a 6 man match, but it stood out because it was so different than anything you'd ever see on WWE programming. Outside of Joe and Daniels on the first Thursday, and to a lesser degree the match where Senshi won the belt, they haven't aired anything like that since.

The Torch is reporting that Raw will air on a two hour delay on Aug. 28 and Sept. 4, when USA will air coverage of U.S. Open tennis. Considering the rumors that Spike wants to increase TNA's presence, what are the odds TNA airs live on one on of those Mondays?

Credit: PWI Not bad attendance at all I'd say. -
I agree with the guy that they stole the show at Victory Road, but I don't know if they're going to be the centerpiece of the promotion. I could see them getting a nice run with the tag belt, since they've managed to get over. TNA got lucky with the whole immigration debate, because it gave the group a reason to exist. Otherwise, they would have been the Nation of Dominance pre-Rock. They weren't over at all during their first few months.

This is why nothing but good can come of TNA running shows outside of Orlando. Even these small ones will help in the long run. -
He just blew off his feud with Larry at the PPV.

I just flipped past the replay, and they LAX segment was on, and even though I saw it already, I popped big for the "Gringo Killa." I may stick around for the title match, since I wanna see if its as good I thought it was the second time around.

Believe it or not, I remember all the major sites reporting that the two shows after Slammiversary were the highest watched episodes of Impact ever.
