Great November viewings: Three ... Extremes - 9/10. what's in a 9? made wanna have my grammas dumplings real bad. Last Life in the Universe - 8/10. Wheels on Meals - 7/10 once again in many years, just to remind myself that Jackie Chan doesnt suck Benny Urquidez's balls... well in 84 he didnt.

The site is pretty stupid. They get few well known negative/annoying things right about celebrities but feel obligated to mark things like their magazine covers and having dead parents at early age as the not annoying features.

Rotting Christ - Athanati Este Would make a great song for Christopher Daniels' entrance.

The Project Hate - Hate Incarnate

^^^ that's a nice addition indeed, something i'll be checking out on daily bases.

I was actually buying Tanahashi as the person who could beat Sasaki in a good long match. And no I didnt care if they would sink the belt even lower with a fast switch because storyline wise Tanahashi would make a better champ. He at least is fighting the war against BNJ alongside Nagata/Tenzan and the young guns where Sasaki hangs in somewhere between top faces and Chono's group with a little convincing army of Tenryu and Nakajima. Outside of the bloodfest match with Nagata Sasaki's comeback to me felt very useless.
-
Besides (and this is from a guy who doesn't even remember seeing the match), I have to assume it involved lots of run-ins. Did anybody find his job to Brooklyn Brawler to be humiliating? -=Mike I believe Jericho made a run in but I'm sure Batista used some force from the outside as well.

Just because the crowd goes hot for the challenger doesnt mean they should drop the title to him nor do any companies ever do that and if they did we would have many juniors beating heavyweights for the big belt. Fact is if the champion is booked to look like he has trouble beating the opponent which is the case with Kobashi then they don't need to look further than Morishima and just establish him as the star that he looks to be... or maybe they got Mike Awesome in mind since Kobashi has been moaning to work with him. Gaijins my ass.
-
C'mon Kobashi's reign is going fine, yes they can get AJ's and NJ's top stars for the job but they need to try and sell their workers as worthy opponents, because frankly the good people at TNA or elsewhere never will. Even Saito who looks like a 50 year old Mexican veteran needed that match although how he earned the title shot is non-existent. Nagai brought it upon himself, as well as Kakihara by jumping to NJ. At least he's getting some action after what seems like a year of being uberunderused. Nakanishi is doomed, in 5 years he will become what Yasuda has been for the most part of his career - doing 13 min comedy matches and sometimes winning by cheating. NJ has an on and off faith in him and lately it has been off. Looking at him still makes me happy that Kojima left.

Battle royale is a japan flick. He was talking about Funny Games.

Summoning - Stronghold (8/10)

Madredeus - Ainda

Is that a chinese movie? Yes.

Irreversible mainly for the fire extinguisher melting into the skull scene and of course the 10 min rape scene. Miike's Audition is another one. It's a slow creeper but worth the wait. Human Meat Pies: The Untold Story. very powerfull stuff involving human hamburgers and the man behind the buns. Memories of Murder - disturbing and sometimes funny. the cook, the thief, his wife and her lover. I'll try to think of some good Italian shockies from the 60-70's that not many people will be able to watch alone or twice.

Wasn't he going to retire and pass the torch to Booker T?

Right man, no more 70-80's slasher flicks now lets give money to a novice director whose only credits are Ludacris videos and episodes of Undressed, surely he cam remake a great mystery thriller with an easy and get a cult following out of the same people who thought Cabin Fever was the shit. Some cockhead will botch OldBoy man and I won't watch it ... unless they get Gary Oldman to play Oh Daesu then maybe, maybe I'll catch it on HBO in the year 2009.

My friend saw Bichunmoo few years ago, he didn't like it enough to make me watch it mainly because the characters were flip flopping without much direction although he said the action scenes were good. In that light Casshern can be a movie you might also want to see. It's fantasy/action/romance with good music/flashy characters but with the oftenly repeating simple Asian plot telling method done to exhaustion. It was irritating but I though if they are going to remake My Sassy Girl they should at least cast maybe Jake Gyllenhaal with either Thora Birch or Anna Paquin.

I choose Mr. Blonde because he had style but as King said "sometimes, Jake, style can get you killed."
-
I just hope they stay unknown and independent, far away from MJ buying the fed out and turning it into a WWE with pillow fight royal rumbles and dramatic angles involving kissing the owner's ass. On a brighter note they should bring in bigger names, Colby as mentioned before along with Reid Flair and Benoit's and Malenko's kids to revive the Four Horsemen - all of it done tastefully and respectfully of course without hurting the home grown talent that will only benefit in the end.
-
That'd be Minoru Special #2, from one Minoru Tanaka. Yeah, I didn't think it was worth mentioning his name since most people here wouldnt know who he is.
-
Bring in Colby Corino.

... Power Rangers vs NWO feud ... can I get shot in the face now?

Since almost no move is original nowadays and my memory of invented moves has gone to shits I give you these: top rope flying DDT, simply climp the turnbuckle and dive off onto your opponent and DDT him. This doesn't require much flying skills. it's a move that will look good on anyone especially on heavyweights to kinda give your the goliath killing image ... normal DDTs on big men done by little men don't look convincing. If you like sumbission moves consider using STF maybe with a chicken wing variation or with Samoa Joe's style choke sleeper (camel clutch like sleeper hold). Maybe somehow make it flow into Lance Storm's running off the ropes Canadian Maple Leaf combo. Another move, a combination of nortern lights suplex followed by you rolling yourself into an armbar hold instead of a pin. Another move I like, called Final Cut (done beautifully by Kaz Hayashi), basically it's a rapid reverse DDT followed with an elbowdrop. Imagine Stinger's reverse DDT but done in a fast way with you providing the elbow for the already falling body of the opponent to seal the deal. Big Show used it too but I could have eaten 2 pies of pizza by the time he turned and connected. If you're going to use an enzuigiri then you shall do it from the top, like a real man, like Hoshikawa:

He'd have to leave the Pepsi Plunge behind though. Not necessarily, they'd probably demote it to Pepsi EDGE level with full entertainment and 50% less impact. Maybe turn it into a double-arm underhook crotch sleeper.

WWE has already made judgements about him while he was in UPW I'm sure which isnt fair for those who have no input whatsover outside of speaking 4 lines and showing their tits and abs. This could be WWE's way of getting Mike into the company, making it look like he earned it instead of giving him a job for just being a drunken lay from MTV's "reality" show. should this be considered spoilers?
