Weekend boxoffice Report Nov 4-6
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Why don't you post something truthful or relevant for a change? Seriously, just admit your gay, bro. No need to call beautiful celebrities "hideous". Liars only lie to THEMSELVES. -

Bob Barron, You have, in the past 6 days, called both Scarlett Johanson and Claire Dames "hideous" looking. If you're going to make such outrageous statements, please post a photo of any girl you've ever dated, let alone touched. Perhaps there will be validity to your outrageously stupid claims. -
It was revealed that T.O.'s suspension, among other things, came after a fistfight with the Eagles' Hugh Douglas. T.O., afterwards, reportedly challenged Donovan McNabb, and then the rest of the team, screaming "you want some? anyone else want some?" WrestleMania 22 is in Chicago. McNabb's hometown. Just...maybe...

Oh shit. WrestleMania 22 is in Chicago. Donovan McNabb's hometown. Smell the ratings.

T.O. wouldn't take one. He's not washed up, ending his career, or retired, like most NFL guys turned wrestlers. He's a prick, but easily one of the Top 3 receivers in the league.

"Good god, broken in half!" From ESPN.com It might not have been just Terrell Owens' fighting words that led to his suspension from the Eagles. It seems a fistfight also contributed to his being banished indefinitely. Owens got into a fight on Wednesday with former Eagles defensive end and current team ambassador Hugh Douglas, the Trenton Times reported and ESPN's Chris Mortensen confirmed Sunday. A team source told Mortensen that Douglas, whose post with the Eagles he re-titled "bad-ass-ador," entered the team's training room Wednesday and announced "I know there are people in here faking injuries." The comment apparently led to the scrum between Owens and Douglas. One source told the Times the fight "was like WWE Smackdown." Another source told the paper both Douglas and Owens threw at least two punches before Owens challenged quarterback Donovan McNabb and then everyone else in the room, saying "You want some? Anyone else want some?" http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2215718

ESPN.com reports Owens and Hugh Douglas had a fistfight, and then TO challenged McNabb and then the entire team, screaming "You want some, anybody else want some?" just, quote, "Like WWE Smackdown!"

Notre Dame Vs. Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl would potentially be the highest television ratings for a college game in quite some time. I really want to see that matchup.

"I'd say switch it up and have Ryan be with Summer while Seth is Marissa." Horrible idea, IMO. Let's be Dawson's Creek! Ryan and Summer have never really interacted, nor have Seth and Marissa, save for the first couple episodes.
-
I thought the movie sucked. The opening scene with the potential eye-gouging was the best, and only, memorable scene, IMO. The gore just wasn't there. The latin "bully" guy stole from the main antagonists. It's a major ripoff of "The Cube". I did like the semi-lead of the girl from Starship Troopers, however. Still, no characters to get attached to, and once again horrible casting. The "crazy gore" I'd heard wasn't there. This wasn't scary. And the lack of fun "tests" sucked. Um, why does the girl stick BOTH hands into the lame "arm cutting" device? More, creative tests may have salvaged this, but weren't there. VERY dissapointed.

Eddy got hurt, and is returning this month.

You could interview me, I own TheHistoryofWCW.com, which is the "History of WCW" website that was once semi-complete but now is re-designed and very not complete. Eh, I know a lot of shit.

Vince outsmarted Austin at KOTR 98, but Austin got revenge a NIGHT later. Vince outsmarted Austin at Judgment Day 98, but Austin got revenge a NIGHT later. Vince outsmarted Austin at SSeries 98, but Austin got revenge THAT NIGHT by attacking Rock. Vince outsmarted Austin at Rumble 99, but Austin got revenge a MONTH later in the blowoff. It's also about how QUICKLY the face recovers.

"the NWA World title is the same title Ric Flair carried around in the 1980s. It certainly was not "made" for Jeff Jarrett." That NWA Title has also been held by Tracy Smothers, The Colorado Kid, Chris Candido, and countless other low-carders.
-
Diesel was a much better champion than Cena.
-
Matt Young said: "I've been a fan of Jarrett's since his last IC title run. I loved him in WCW." Matt, seriously, you've as bad of taste in workers as girlfriends. WHAT, could POSSIBLY, make you dig Jarrett? - Breaking a guitar over Buff Bagwell's head? - Undeserved push over Benoit, including using convoluted "oh no, the steps of the ladder were rigged to fall OFF!" gimmick to defeat Benoit on TV? - Boring matches with Dustin Rhodes? - Horrible main event title feud with Sid? - Being awarded a US Title? - Basically ruining the WCW restart from the start. "Let's give the fans a NEW WCW!" they said. "We've chosen Jeff Jarrett as the challenger at Spring Stampede for the WCW Title!" - Pushing a small, lame-gimmicked WCW mid-carder as WCW champ? - Pumping up his title reigns? - Involvement w/ awful feud with Nash, as Goldberg turned heel to save Jarrett's title reign for whatever idiotic reason? - The CHOOO CHOOO CHOSEN ONE? When you hear the train coming though, you know its time to switch to Raw. - Seriously, Jarrett's push ALONE was one of the 5 major downfalls of WCW from 1998-2001...and he wasn't even IN the company until Oct. 99! - Jarrett killed Raven's nuclear TNA heat years ago. SUPER JEFF! - Jarrett killed the 5% of credibility Rhyno had coming off of BFG. Imagine, say, Kane winning the WWE Title at WrestleMania 22 and then losing it days later on Smackdown. - Jarrett is HORRIBLE. I can't even try to suggest TNA to my semi-casual-okay-I'll-give-it-a-try wrestling fans because when they see rejects like Jarrett they cringe and smirk.

I have this on DVD. It's absolutely amazing, and I've never played an FF game. I demanded my friend make a copy of his for me to watch. The opening scene alone sealed it for me, the crazy ass bike chase.

I think the OC is so good that you want to see it go more than one season. But when it does go more than one season you wish it never did. What, are they ALL going to the same college? Seriously, when your trailer for the next episode is all "Ooooh, Marissa likes a new guy (that fans could care less about)", there's problems. And they solved potentially the year's biggest problem (and didn't even help Marissa) in like 4 minutes. Ridiculous.

What makes a 5 star match?
UseTheSledgehammerUh replied to cameron chaos's topic in General Wrestling
War Games 1991 is to me, a 3-star match. It's severely overrated, although it doesn't have a lot of flaws. It has intensity, but nowhere at the level of the 1992 version. The strengths of the workers (Pillman's aerial game, Steiner's flippy suplexes) are somewhat negated due to the low cage ceiling. Zbyszko does nothing, and even Dusty Rhodes questions why he is in it. Still, a good match, but one of the most overrated bouts ever. The ending SUCKS and just kills everything, and was scripted to end like that, despite the poor angle of the first powerbomb. 1992 blows the thing away. It's like comparing Austin/Rock WM 17 to WM 19. -

Chick sings: "I'm not aware of too many things, I know what I know, if you know what I mean!" Butthead: "This dude sucks." Beavis: "You know usually chicks give me like, a funny feeling. Noooo...just not working, nope." Butthead: "Damnit Beavis, this sucks! And it's a dude!" :::smacks Beavis around:::
