It's snowing in Tri-State area now... Expected to snow Sunday in Philly. Thoughts on the weather? Also, I'm seeing a common trend when people talk about teams playing Philly. "Moss will not be stopped." "Vick will run them over." "Favre can lead the team." With every good/average team Philly plays, there's always an argument that one player is going to take them apart. One player will not do this. A good TEAM makes the Super Bowl. Why did Pittsburgh beat Philly? Ignore Westbrook's injury and the old, disorganized defense the Eagles had then...the Steelers were the better TEAM that day.

Chris Jericho's themes did not have lyrics, to my knowledge. His first was the ultra-flowery stock music used as a face and heard on ESPN highlights. His second as face and then heel was the "Evenflow" instrumental, not done by Pearl Jam, just a cover with various modifications.

I highly recommend coming on the 5th anyway, as there are some great bouts already announced/planned.

Mr. Generico is a luchadore and doesn't speak English. He's absolutely incredible in the ring, however.

That match is remarkable. I love the ending. It furthers it and makes Austin seem like a complete coward. Plus, anyone who says "Austin as a heel failed" may have a point, but what about THIS match? About the ending: It's Kurt Angle. Had it been Benoit or Rock getting screwed out of the title, then long-term there'd be something to complain about. But it's Angle, the two had a fantastic match, and for once, I loved the cop-out ending. It added to the story.

Ric Flair and Bret Hart could star in "Grumpy Old Men III". Triple H & Stephanie in "So I Married a Creative Storyline Murderer". Lita will star in "Rithsky Business II". Eugene and Regal team up in "Rain Man: The Next Generation". and Batista stars in "Scent of a Woman" remake.

No to be off topic, but on the matches Windham/Hennig had against Malenko/Benoit... They were AWFUL. Uncensored 99 features blown spots galore, BLOWN UP wrestlers galore, and Windham's fat gut and awful goatee. The finish sucks too, but that is actually Malenko and Benoit's fault. Check it out to see how each kinda muffed it. Those Kuwait shows were silly. Pushing a new guy (Ahmed or later Tiger Ali Singh) over stars such as BRET HART, OWEN HART, STEVE AUSTIN, VADER, MANKIND, etc. (they were all in those two tournaments). I just won the Super Bowl in my first season with the Philadelphia Eagles, edging the Oakland Raiders 20-13. However, wanna hear something fucked up? Instead of kneeling the ball at the end of the game, I decided to pad Buckhalter's stats a bit. Westbrook already was out of the game with a hyperextended elbow. So I run Buckhalter with 8 seconds left, they have no timeouts. There's a MAN DOWN. It's Terrell Owens. The report: a lower leg hairline fracture. 8 weeks. Sound FAMILIAR? Into the offseason, Owens decides that with an injury and a title already won, he'll RETIRE. Ridiculous. I don't have the cap room to make him a ridiculous offer to stay. He won't unretire. Thanks.

Barry Windham is completely useless & unwatchable from failed run as "The Stalker" (WWE '96) to Blackjack Windham (WWE 97) to NWA Invasion member Windham (WWE 98) to Bischoff/Hennig friend Windham (WCW 99) to Rap is Crap Windham (WCW 99). Windham Vs. Lawler? I think Haasan Vs. Lawler was probably better.

T.O. is definately out this week, not likely, btw. The Eagles match up poorly with New England. The birds also didn't fare that well against Pittsburgh, but that was without Westbrook and before the new Trotter-led defensive arrangements were made. I'd rather see Philly/Pittsburgh, because hey, thge Super Bowl is one game. 9 out of 10 times the Steelers might win, but its only ONE game. If the Eagles receivers have a great game against Atlanta, McNabb keeps rolling, and T.O. comes back for motivational/on-field support, I think Philly has a chance to defeat the AFC winner.

The Falcons "are a running team" against awful defenses. The Falcons aren't as good outdoors. Donovan McNabb is much more a complete quarterback than Michael Vick. Brian Westbrook is a more valuable weapon than Duckett & Dunn combined. The Eagles receivers are making plays. The Eagles defense is SICK. Eagles win. Again. Over on the AFC...the two most boring teams in football match up, with "pound it up the middle" Vs. "make few mistakes, execute the basics perfectly". Uh, Pittsburgh wins it, I don't care.

My friends and are hitting up the Eagles/Ass-Wipers game on Sunday, anyone else in the area going to be tailgating? We usually get to the Linc at around 9 AM, break out the stereos, the grill, the keg, the beer pong table, the football and encourage lots of bystanders to join us in our celebrations. This will no doubt be a tremendous day as we celebrate the countdown to seeing Randy Moss' 1 week of "buzz" destroyed on the national level. Yay! Anyhoo, who's gonna be at the Linc Sunday? Um, TNN's cable ratings are different than what UPN's rating measure. We've known that for years. This means nothing. Different amounts of households are measured. Smackdown! was awful this week. Raw was not good, but much better. You are stupid. Seriously. Get your facts straight.
