Michaels re-MADE himself in that bout, solidifying his spot and going forward into a great year end bout with Triple H on Raw, as well as a decent effort at Rumble 04, a good match with Benoit in February on Raw, and the WM/Backlash main events. Everyone was on in that bout. There were NO slow spots. All action. All bumping. Desperation on Austin's behalf. Drama. It was **** 1/4 to **** 1/2 to me, depending on which time I viewed it, and the WWE Raw MOTY for 2003, actually just slightly behind Smackdown!'s Benoit/Angle at Royal Rumble 2003. I reccomend that for the initial post.
