SS memories: *** SS 91 - Marking the FUCK out when everyone's favorite hero Hulk Hogan got shafted courtesy of my WCW hero Ric Flair, and he LOST the title. Quote Roddy Piper after the match "It be a dark, dark day in da double-U, double-U Ef". *** 92 - Horrible buildup. Rented the video. *** 93 - Even worse show. Rented video. *** 94 - Terrible main, heels go over??? Backlund wins title, this was surprising. Marked for Owen's fake turn shenanigans, but the match itself was very slow. Diesel eliminating everyone was fun. I ordered the show just to see 4 guys I marked for (Owen, Neidhart, Diesel, Shawn) all on one team. *** 95 - VERY UNDERRATED and entertaining show, IMO. We saw some different aspects of the WWF. Low undercard got a big match. Heels and Faces put together in a "Wildcard" match. Japanese ladies embarassed Madusa's team. Great Bret/Diesel match. Taker squashes everyone. *** 96 - IMO, one of the best Pay Per View events WWF ever produced. *** 97 - On my birthday, so missed it...got a tape the next day...something about Bret Hart or something... *** 98, watched this with friends. Marked out for The Rock taking it. Kinda knew he would tho. Whichever Stooge hit Austin with the chair during the good mankind/Austin match RUINED IT. Worst chair shot ever puts down Austin. RIGHT. *** 99 - Watched it, terrible. *** 00 - Watched it, terrible. *** 01 - First SS for me at college. Was marking out for The Alliance although obviously it was a lost cause. Okay show. *** 02 - Missed it, but caught DVD and thought "excellent show". Survivor Series 2002, after giving it 2 years, is TERRIBLE. Trish/Victoria is awful. Opening 6-man tables match is terrible. Show/Lesnar is fun. Elim. Chamber is long, prodding, and boring. Smackdown 6 3-way tag was decent, but WAY dissapointing. Kidman/Noble is underrated, IMO. *** 03 - Watched it at bar, hot crowd there, it was amazing to watch first time. Got DVD. Shane/Kane sucks. Vince/Taker sucks. Opening Elim match is not that good, but not horrible. Team Bischoff Vs. Team Austin is AMAZING, one of 2003's top matches. There's like, maybe ONE (if that) rest hold the entire match. All action. Surprising ending. Shitty/slow main event.

Edge has better mic skills than Booker T. Edge has a better offensive arsenal than Booker T. Or at least he did. I think he's getting there. E & C > Harlem Heat Oh yeah, Edge was never in a tag team with Test where *TEST* was pushed as the bigger star. Plus, Edge CLEARLY showed he is better than Booker T by winning the highly coveted Japanese Shampoo Commercial.

Why sign Liger? Why sign ANYONE? If Liger comes in and puts on a ***** bout with Williams (Hahahahaha!) and Styles (more likely), will it matter? No, because NO ONE IS ORDERING THIS SHOW ANYWAY. They can bring in Hall, Nash, whoever... but A) WWE has the highest marketing and TV exposure in wrestling history and their buyrates suck...TNA has FSN. B) As bad as the WWE PPVs have been, they're 5 times better looking on paper than TNA's carnival, old 2000 WCW crap. Not only had no one heard of TNA, but the few that have don't even want to buy the product. The difference between ECW and its loyal fanbase dreaming of PPV and telling people "you gotta see it!"...ECW was entertaining! TNA is a junior-league WWE wannabe. They have no distincition. Lame "political leader" has the belt, stupid fucking heel stables, shitty cruiserweights, thrown together tag teams, the works. I'm glad Liger isn't gonna work for them. He whored himself out enough for WCW in 2000 and Ring of Suck this year. Did I read that they're having those stupid Mexican "lucha" midgets wrestle again? Is this fucking 1997 WWF? Those two were absolutely DREADFUL on the 2nd anniversary show, so why have them tarnish this show? Oh, that's right, because it's going to suck anyway and TNA is out of business in less than 6 months.

I went to bars and saw: Rumble (Best Rumble match ever) and Mania (best Mania main event ever). My friends and I ordered Bad Blood, but the fucking shitty Comcast digital receiver broke and we didnt get to see it, but got a refund. We ordered Vengeance, which was a terrible show. We ordered SummerSlam, which was an even worse show. Notice a trend? We don't order them anymore. I just download them the next day off of wrestlingmedia or Limewire for free now.

The only thing ring-wise Booker T has going for him and fast, quick leg attacks. At WrestleMania 19, HHH worked his legs the entire match and they stayed on the mat. The wrong guy went over. That's why the match sucked. It was boring, save for like 45 seconds.

There's a reason "people like" Booker T don't get World Title reigns. Because "people like" means: Over the hill workers who have no star power, have very basic movesets, can't properly execute OR don't even attempt half the moves that got them over, and have lackluster performances when given main event matches (WM 19, SSlam 2001).

Oh, and I did read Loss 4 Words post. He's insane. Bookdust Vs. Unamericans on par with Rey/Angle? Someone get him some coffee. Two matches with Mark Henry which carried the big lug to BEARABLE matches instead of instant DUDS? He's a moron.

One of the lamest SummerSlam main events ever, as well, because Booker T has no drawing and/or star power. *** A couple of bouts with Jericho in 2001? *** I remember one on Raw and one on Smackdown. Nothing stuck out. Run-ins galore. *** His Rebellion02 match with Matt Hardy?*** Never seen it. Can't stand Hardy, however. Booker T's matches with "Honky Tonk Man" Christian were AWFUL. Don't even TRY to sell them as reasons Booker is great. The ONLY interesting work Booker T has done in his WWE Career is teaming with Goldust and producing a couple decent matches with Christian/Jericho and Christian/Storm.
