Tremendous green sign that just passed by. A drawing of a needle going into an ass with the caption "HHH" above it. -

That was pretty lousy. The blood (which was by chance) was the only thing that made it at all intruiging. Everybody seems to forget that the storyline, which has seemingly gone on since 1982, has featured lousy acting on a weekly basis (Ashley is regularly terrible; Mickie's hit-or-miss) and produced absolutely dreadful matches. Note: Haven't really watched Raw in recent months so I don't know if they did any sort of storyline-saving angles. -

Of all the whores appearing at WrestleMania, Mick Foley is the biggest. Literally, too. -
I was educated by that possum!

HartFan, you've got to see "The Injury" or whatever that episode is called. I'm convinced that (don't read this) is the crowning moment of this show thus far, even if it loses its impact after a few viewings. I also got the season one DVD recently and I really enjoyed the Health Care episode (I had missed it on TV). Edit: Thursday's episode was fantastic. Stanley yelling at Ryan about "sniffing" his daughter was hilarious.

I think I'm going to need some drinks too.

Isn't it "I must break you"?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but does anyone know if these still exist anywhere on the internet? They were tremendous and it would make my day to see them again.

KKK, you've definitely got my Poster Tournament vote after that. Hilarious. Note: Unfortunately I do not plan on voting. -
Favorite Male Actor: Tom Sizemore. He's just totally unstable in the movies and out of them. Fantastic parts in both Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan. Part of my all-time favorite shootout in Heat. Really believable, gruff guy. I couldn't see him as Mr. Pink though (he auditioned for the role six times-- that takes determination). Also the first person known to actually use the Whizzinator. Plus he put up a good fight (against Ray Liotta) in Vice City. He's not an artsy prick or anything, he's a true motherfucker. I hope he takes care of his drug problems and gets into top form. Tremendous talent. Honorable mentions: Christopher Walken, Ray Liotta, Steve Carell, Scatman Crothers Favorite Female Actor: Naomi Watts. Man is she attractive. She can act, too. REALLY act. See: 21 Grams. And if you want to, go see Mulholland Dr. and King Kong. But see 21 Grams first. Who else is good looking and shows acting credibility?: Alexis Bledel, Rachel McAdams, Scarlett Johannson, Anne Hathaway

Agreed. I hate that fucking putz. I concur.

Oh Lorrrrrd. Looks like the kids aren't getting a Christmas this year.

Pretty average pay-per-view. The four-way dance was exciting to watch, probably ***3/4 or so and definitely best match of the night. Puma was the weak link of the match (killed the flow at one point by botching a double underhook suplex) but he still had his moments. Suprising stuff from all four guys. Ultimate X had some nifty spots but if that was the blowoff, that was certainly underwhelming. I bought the PPV to see this feud end. I was really curious as to what spots Samoa Joe would take off the ropes. He dropped his fat ass to the mat early on and that was it for him. I wanted to see a fuckin' 360 dragon suplex off the ropes or some shit but it wasn't to be; nothing from the match is going to make any sort of all time highlight reel. The double-team musclebuster was the most ingenious spot of the night even if it didn't look all that much like Joe's musclebuster. And did they really need to pimp Samoa Joe that much after Daniels' victory? I mean, I know Joe's going on to "better things" in TNA, but seriously, the title had just switched hands and Don West was still cramming Joe's unbeaten streak down my throat. Ease up, I'm sure he's not going to be fighting Christian next month. If you didn't see Christian vs. Monty, a match that you could closely compare it to would be Batista vs. Eddie from No Mercy-- dead crowd, not a lot of "high impact" stuff but decent fare. That shit afterwards was terrible though. No thank you, Scott Steiner. Shit like Hoyt vs. Michael Shane and Naturals vs. whoever was pretty rough. Worst match of the night was LAX vs. James Gang by far; Old Man James should have gently kissed Konnan on the forehead after those sad-sack punches. I knew they wouldn't be there going in, but I'm still disappointed that Strong and Aries are suspended and not working shows. For the most part, Ring of Honor gets me interested in the TNA roster-- I wanted to see guys like Joe, Shelley, Lethal and even Abyss tonight. The Truth still continues to be a really entertaining wres performer. I wasn't terribly impressed with the PPV but it was alright, on the level of the last TNA I ordered (Bound for Glory) but better than Royal Rumble. I'm not going to be too negative about TNA knowing that practically all their fans are saying the show was fairly ho-hum, but I'm still not going to tune in to Impact. I'll give TNA another chance somewhere down the line, probably in a few months.

BAD show so far. James Gang vs. Homicide and friends was abysmal on every level and you KNOW the feud is going to continue. Lethal vs. Shelley was best match of the night so far, **3/4 approx. EDIT: Actually it was worse, some spots looked like ass. I still have high expectations for Destination X and the main event, though, so we'll see.

Fantastic. Unforgiven is traditionally one of the worst PPVs in the year. Thanks, WWE!

Am I the only one who thought Jon Stewart was pretty terrible in the first hour of the show? The delivery on the monologue was lousy; he seemed out of his element and didn't connect with the audience. It picked up as he went along, by the end he had said enough midly funny things to put him above the last Oscars that had Steve Martin as host. Thankfully Stewart didn't do that fuckin' "Mmmm, _____?" voice or continuously insult the Bush administration; then I seriously would have turned it over. I'm disappointed Billy Crystal was too busy having ass sex with Chris Rock to host. This year Naomi Watts and Steve Carrell were the only reasons I tuned in. Neither really delivered; Naomi dressed poorly (as usual) and has gotten plump while Steve was pretty good but obviously not trying to overshadow his friend. EDIT: Another reason I turned in was to make sure George Clooney got his well-deserved award for Syriana. Good for the Academy. Hopefully Conan gets a chance to host next year, I have no doubt he'd knock it out of the park.

Dustin Hoffman's chuckling and strange behaviour eerily reminds me of Ric Flair's 2004 and 2005 HOF speeches.

241. Conan's interview with those two Finnish children. His comparison of the interview to the Nuremberg trial was great. -
