So while Bradshaw, Bob Holly and two OVW "studs" are in a upper mid-card scene, Eddie Guerrero is losing heat by the day while feuding with the Bashams and Chavo Guerrero. Eddie was on fire in September when he was the duel champ. Now, he's just stale, as is most of the wrestlers on the show, except for Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Tajiri and company and possibly Big Show. Seems like RAW is becoming the better brand.

I said it, because I honestly have never seen much of his good work named other than matches with Bret. For a man who was great in the ring, most of his other work shouldn't go ignored. The Lion's Den match with Shamrock wasn't too bad, as was a tag match I somewhat remember with Austin and Dude Love facing him and Bulldog.

That's because Owen Hart has attained a status of almost martyrdom when it comes to wrestling. I donno. I mean, some people call him one of the "best wrestlers to ever live" when it comes to topics about his death, but on the other hand, his best matches are not often named, other than the WMX match of course, and he's never in any "Top 10" or "Best Wrestler Ever" discussions. Personally, I think Owen was a very good wrestler, and it's a shame that the wrestling industry lost a good soul.

Phone Booth and Identity were great.

Ever have someone tape over any good wrestling?
The Mandarin replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
Someone taped over King of the Ring 95. .. And just replace "someone" with "I".. ..and "taped over" with "set fire to". -
From that same issue, I love Buh Buh Ray Dudley's quote. Something about Tauntauns and Tommy Dreamer. Can you get the exact quote for me? Thanks if you can.

I think WM 2000 went to 12AM, but I'm not exactly sure. I'm betting on it starting at 7 PM. Thanks, coach.

That's because you bought the "MTV's Behind WWF Tough Enough" DVD, not the actual boxed set. Yeah, I should have clarified that more. I'm sure the boxed set is pretty good, I liked the show. But the "Behind the Scenes" DVD was a waste. Although, seeing Nidia's horrible "entry tape" was worth maybe a dollar or more. "Ooohhh..I am the Undernidia. ..*snicker*"

I'm not trying to follow a trend, but I honestly fell asleep Brock Lesnar's promo with his team. I missed Yang/Mysterio! Damn.

Flair/Funk takes my match of the week.

Tough Enough: Season 1 was THIRTY MINUTES and cost me TWENTY EIGHT BUCKS. It was just, so, so crappy.

This is quite possibly the stupidest and most closed minded thing I've ever read in this forum. Well, I wouldn't go that far, but I disagree with what was said. This WrestleMania is ALL ABOUT nostalgia. It's twenty years since it first debuted, and it's the thing all wrestlers work towards. If you just got rid of all that, and just forgot all of the top wrestlers of the past 20 years, then this show would be no better than an Unforgiven or Judgment Day or any of those usual PPVs that are only placed as BUILD UP, in order to advance storylines until the next WrestleMania 20. I can't wait for Wrestlemania. Screw the star ratings, I just want to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the WWE's biggest event. And yes, La Parka rules.

Have you heard that "HoooooWAAAAAAYYYYY" shit? Every show. Every single show, every single time a face speaks a damn word, "HooooooWAYYYYYY". I swear.
-
Good idea. I'll start that Monday.

Try as he might, it was too late, as John Cena had already digested that portion of ham from six hours ago.

Cage. Cage matches have been great throughout the decades, and still today. Hell in a Cell is still good, but just doesn't match up. Now only if they'd bring the blue cage back.

If you could only watch the work of 10 wrestlers..
The Mandarin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
1) Bret Hart 2) Steve Austin 3) Kurt Angle 4) The Rock 5) Mick Foley 6) Shawn Michaels 7) Ric Flair 8) Hulk Hogan 9) Triple H 10) Trish Stratus Yes, Trish Stratus. Covers about every good WWE's Women's Match of the past 2 years. -
I personally thought this week's shows were pretty crappy. RAW wasn't BAD, but it was lacking compared to shows from earlier in the month. I don't know how some people say it was a improvement over past shows this month. And SmackDown, well, I was asleep. But from the hour or so I saw, not too great. I'm not usually so negative on the product. I just thought they really should have followed through after a great PPV.

Big Show/Cena gets MOTW, wrestler of the week goes to Show. ..Then again, I was actually asleep for everything else. Don't blame me, blame.. ..okay, yeah, me.

Michael Jackson Makes A Startling Announcement
The Mandarin replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Music
Out on 3 million bail. Damn. -
Here's an "Oops", if they're wanted. In V1's new column, he states that "Matt Hardy will always be known as the first wrestler ever to go from one brand (RAW), to the other (SmackDown!), and then return (RAW). " Benoit did it in 2002.

You think you have it bad, I have to wait until February.

Doink's the champ?! WOW.

Here's a sample picture from the show:

Woah, Marissa appears half naked in the new Enrique Moleface video? (clips shown on Extra) Wow. And she's underage, too. Uh oh.
