The one defiant dick at Tiananmen Square is made better by the fact that he too has set down his groceries. The Major Kong drawing was great as well. Is Jonah Hill related to Chris Penn at all? 'cause I definitely see/hear a resemblance there. And yeah, I can't wait for this movie either.

1000 Reasons why Late Night with Conan O'Brien
The Mandarin replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
359. La Bamba bothering the shit out of Conan/Conan's mustachioed impression of La Bamba giving him an ominous look/La Bamba shaking his head (similarly) 360. I know Gay Lincoln has been mentioned before, but I don't think anyone mentioned him standing in the hallway and genuinely creeping out Conan, which was the highlight -
I've gotta imagine Rainn Wilson is a lock to be nominated for The Coup. I mean, my God. Business School was amazing, and a good Michael showcase, but not a great episode for Krasinski. And yeah, there are better episodes than Grief Counselling for Jenna Fischer. Initiation had superior stuff, with the Michael's day log and the phone call and whatnot. Could she submit Beach Day or would it be frowned upon for going 40-some odd minutes?

I thought Match Point was brilliant. I don't think anybody else really cared for it though. 21 Grams and Fitzcarraldo are fantastic as well. Kinski is just tremendous, and laughably insane.

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Comments That Don't Warrant A Thread
The Mandarin posted a topic in General Wrestling
I just felt like discussing PWG without having to start a thread with a real direction. What matches are you digging? Do you think the Dynasty angle is gonna work? Do you think the commentary's improved in recent years? Are the drugs ruining Topgun's workrate? Scorpio Sky = sexy? Discuss. My quick effort: - Chris Bosh is hilarious. - Jack Evans vs. Claudio Castagnoli at BOLA? Awesome. - The Iron Man match on UYI 4 was totally rocking, even with Joey Ryan being knocked silly. -
What a bizarre episode. Extremely off-the-wall, even for this show. Enjoyable though. The delivery of "Okay buddy" really made me laugh.

The ending was made even better by the fact that Dwight clearly spent a lot of money trying to replicate Jim's wardrobe. Good episode. "Lord, beer me strength," is my favourite line in a while.

I have to confess to not finding Paul Rudd funny from what I've seen (Anchorman, 40-Year-Old Virgin). Some of the lines he's given are brilliant but I find he just can't handle them. Rogen on the other hand, I really like. This thread got the heart treatment though, so the movie has to be great.

I thought the episode was quite excellent, especially in comparison to last week's shitty episode. -I'm surprised they didn't have Meredith shown with an emergency flask in the washroom or some shit. I guess that's a deleted scene? -The delivery on Kevin's one line wasn't very good. -The first Jim/Karen vampire gag was amazing, the second time it fell flat, but then Jim as Nosferatu at the end was just incredible -It's pretty evident that Toby doesn't care about Sasha. First it was obvious in "The Merger" with his talking head about leaving the country to go surf, and now he's just making sure everyone knows he feels he has no responsibility to his child(ren?).

Goirg always saves the day. Now that's a recall right there. Ace Steel as Donald Trump is almost as cool as Officer Castagnoli. That was an accurate pout.

Man, I thought Creed would be in for a bigger role this season after his great showing in Casino Night. What happened? I thought the newest episode was pretty solid but wasn't overly funny. Then again, I thought Email Surveillance and The Coup were overlooked whereas the popular Grief Counselling and The Dundies were low-end stuff, so who knows.

Anybody else pick it up today? Well, I rented it and played multiplayer for a bit. Must say, it's a bit different from the original. Fighting in space is a lark. Haven't really tried out too many modes and maps yet, though. I was absolutely in love with the original, however. Is that a Greatest Hit now?

PWG Presents "Passive Hostility" on December 2!

Are they ever going to release the 10/7 show? -
I loved the K.I.S.S. method hurting Dwight's feelings.

Raw Thread - October 16th, 2006

Great show so far. K-Fed took a pretty swank FU and that Umaga segment was the funniest thing on Raw in years. Seriously, between "I like Shane" and Umaga shooting on a laughing Steve-O, it was fantastic. Chris Pontius should be brought in full time to do something on TV, that guy is hilarious. -
Super Dragon vs. Kevin Steen in a Guerrilla Warfare match is tremendous. The first 5-10 minutes are MOTYC stuff. I showed it to my buddy and he kept asking if it was real. It's a fat guy in a singlet fighting another fat guy wearing a silly mask. Fuck yes. Kinda loses its steam around the time they start working in a table ( ) and the suplex or whatever through said table was unnecessary, but the end recaptures the viewer's heart. So disgusting. My personal favourite part was the way

Seriously. Sabin vs. Aries from PWG's Enchantment Under the Sea is such a fabulous match. Aries steals the show with his performance as the Macho Man, but Sabin carries his own weight. I'd say it's easily my favourite Sabin match ever. Samoa Joe is fucking dead in TNA at the moment. I don't care if he beat Jarrett, that was some of the most blatant no-selling in a match I've ever seen. Hopefully they'll come around eventually, but it seems like the indefinite ME picture is Angle vs. Jarrett.

So did Ed actually get decapitated? I figured it was just Creed making a story out of Ed Truck's name ("head", "truck") and that's why everyone looked so disgusted at the announcement. I wasn't really sure though. Decent episode, I didn't like it as much as I did last week but it was still good. "Did you check... your BUTT?" was possibly the dumbest thing any character has ever said on the show; I laughed. There's been too much crying this season. It was done perfectly with Michael tearing up during the Office Olympics closing ceremonies and it was even great with "I'm sorry I called you faggy," but the crying scenes from the last two episodes were a bit much.

Couldn't Flydle? So nasty.

I thought you sold your soul to AoO. Was that someone else?

"Now my family has TWO toasters." CUE BIG BUGGY EYES.

Go as Brock Landers.

Why is she called Kelly Kelly?

For whatever reason, I thought that said "Taft" instead of "TNT" on his dynamite and immediately pictured the result of the headdress, a Taft-like mustache and the kid's odd smile and began laughing. It was a weird 10 seconds.

The scene in the last episode where Dwight finds out he's the new manager is just so fantastic. I can't stop watching it. Between the repetitive shoulder shrugging as Michael lies (you can actually hear him do it a third time even though the camera's on Dwight) and the delivery of "Can you. ... That's so nice," I fail to see how Carell didn't cinch an emmy nom already.
