You're only saying that because Michaels half-assed so many house shows, or didn't bother showing up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Flair fully-assed all his house shows. I've got the tape to prove it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha, at first I was in disagreement and then I got it.

(Chavo goes for a pin after hitting the Gory Bomb) Lawler: "He reversed it!" Awful.
-
The lines aren't all that great but the way T read them was hysterical. He couldn't stop laughing, even before reading them. I love that guy.
-
No, because Flair couldn't do three rotations after being hit with the big boot. I think Michaels would be completely lost in the ring with Harley Race and Dory Funk. He's more of a showman than a wrestler. Not to say Michaels can't carry a good match, but I think Flair tops him in that category, and just about everything else (except for bumping and theatrics). However, I think Steve Austin narrowly tops them both as the best total package performer of all time, but let's not even get into that.

Dean Malenko winning the PWI 500 was great. Dean Malenko became "huge" (well, not physically) in my eyes after that. I remember being initially ticked off Austin didn't win, though.

I agree completely. Even Austin's run in 1992 draws a better comparison to Flair than Shawn Michaels' 1996 does.

The death of VHS is coming very shortly.

DVD Recorder owns your house. My Panasonic can record a program and watch another. That's multi-tasking at its greatest. -
Yeah, I don't think he improved or anything. He just got really, really shitty writing and managed to keep the same acting quality that he's always had. Which is a miracle in itself.

I'd suggest you re-watch that match. It's easily the best Elimination Chamber ever and is at least ***1/2 higher than anything else on the NYR show. Meltzer's ratings are pretty odd. I thought Flair/Angle was better than Michaels/Angle from Vengeance and he gave the Vengeance match ****1/2 and Flair's match ***1/2. I'd say it's more like ***3/4 vs. Flair, ***1/2 vs. Michaels. And some of the rest is garbage too. Tanaka/Awesome was not nearly that good.

Raw was absolutely awful tonight. Beyond pitiful. Only two things I enjoyed were Tyson Tomko embarassing the tag team champs in less than a minute and Ric Flair no-selling his brains coming out the back of his skull. That's good enough to last me 'til next week.
-
Rikidozan vs. Dick Beyer Ali vs. Inoki The first Elimination Chamber I'm joking.
-
I donno. RAW up tomorrow.
-
WWE threw a bunch of other guys in with him to throw you off.

Curry, what in the hell is Sizemore doing in that avatar? I thought I was the only one who has Tom Sizemore in their avatar. EDIT: Nevermind, I have some watermelon or some shit now. Forgot.
-
That's because he hasn't had a job since Simon Dean was traded.

You're right, they are great shows.

Curry Man. Awesome. The rest of the show sounds fairly lousy. Nigel McGuinness? Bleh.

Your favorite top 5 Steve Austin matches
The Mandarin replied to JN News's topic in General Wrestling
Everyone already named all the good ones, so here's my top five underrated Steve Austin WWF Attitude matches (off the top of my head)- 1) Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho- KOTR 2001 2) Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle- RAW 2001 3) Steve Austin vs. Dude Love- Unforgiven 1998 4) Steve Austin vs. Val Venis- Smackdown (1999?) 5) Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit- RAW 2001 (the match before the SD match, it was still very good) Honorable mention to Austin vs. Mankind during the Deadly Games tournament. -
Eh, I thought "Me, Myself and Irene" was a bit better. Anyways, the movie was pretty good but some things just fell flat or were overdone. The chest waxing scene would be funny if Carrell wasn't ruining it with the dialogue. The ending music video or whatever was absolutely ridiculous. That may be my favourite part of the movie. ***/****

Yeah, Kevin Steen's pretty good. I wouldn't like to see him get a mega-push right off the bat, but Steen vs. Samoa Joe could be good. Delirious- one of my favourite indy workers. How could anybody not like the guy? They need to push him more. Puma- very good. He needs to move up the card a bit. Lionel Knight- local worker who had an excellent match with Austin Aries last night. I really enjoyed it. Josh Prohibition and M-Dogg 20- two guys who could be a good addition to the tag team ranks

I enjoyed Hardcore Holly vs. Randy Orton much more than I did Orton vs. Benoit from last week. No idea why, I normally detest Bob Holly.

What a retard. The gimmick was stupid, though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You deny the beauty of Stacy Keibler? You horrible man.
