I know how you feel, Benoit and Christian are my two favourite wrestlers (since long before the brand split) as well. Big Dave was number one until they ripped his balls off for a face turn. Thank God for Eddie Guerrero's acting, otherwise SmackDown would be sub-2003(~!) levels.

Wade Keller's star ratings are pretty much right, but Christian-Booker is almost negative stars for the horrible anti-climatic finish. And no way is MNM-LOD that good. Christian should retire. They have NO idea what to do with him. The peeps are being left hanging week after week. I can't believe I thought the draft lottery would improve SmackDown. I was proven wrong.

I can't believe I ordered that PPV. Especially after all the negative comments I had about it in the predictions thread. Hey, my friends pressured me into it. That had to be the most dull three hours of PPV in some time. They should have just shown Best of HHH vs. Undertaker (Backlash 2001, KOTR 2002) in its place. All matches were either what I expected or worse. Most of them were worse. Christian doing a meaningless job for Booker T is one of the lowlights of the show. I am cry. EDIT: The best part was Daivari eating the table like a man. That was absolutely disgusting. Keep Daivari.

That is the fucking greatest thing ever. Expand on this idea, please.

Is that the NC-17 version?

That is true. Hogan does a legdrop, a comeback and some posing. Flair wrestles (not so well anymore, but hey). It's been like that since the mid 1970's. During that time, Hogan's in-ring career has not at all looked better than Ric Flair's career. The fans have responded to it more, but that doesn't effect the work in the ring. You can't blame that on Flair. Angle was being a tool and refused to let Flair reposition his feet correctly to take the bump. Flair slipped, which would have happened to most guys in that position, and then did a nasty Flair Flop to the floor. Flair doesn't look awful when he sells. Hell, he does almost the same routine in every match, so he pretty much perfects it. Yeah, Flair should be taking steroids too. Flair never wins matches so it's not like there's any sense of disbelief. I understand what you're getting at in support of Hogan, but I can't put his current work above Ric Flair's current work.

I just noticed this writeup now while looking for some RoH stuff. I've made the trip to the UWA arena for the last few shows, including last night's. Yeah, UWA's wrestling is a little disjointed and bland, but it's pretty much all the GTA's got. The only true standout matches from the shows that I've been to were Austin Aries vs. Josh Prohibition, which was so smartly wrestled it put everything else on the card to shame; M-Dogg 20 vs. Cabana which was a safely worked comedy match and a Lionel Knight vs. Mickey Knight "grudge match" from last night where they just mangled eachother in a short spotfest. It was vicious. Good review. There was a much higher concentration of women at last night's show, though.

This show might be SmackDown's Taboo Tuesday.

I disagree. Hogan's barely able to work 3 minutes of a tag match while Flair had a very good match with Angle three weeks ago. Flair took some vicious bumps in that match, while on the same night, Hogan was finally able to do a legdrop. While I agree that both should stop wrestling soon, Hogan is no way in better condition than Ric Flair.

Comment 1: Rudo needs to bring back that point/counterpoint (or whatever it was, I forget) thread, because that was awesome. Comment 2: Edge spearing Eddie with the bad shoulder to win at SummerSlam 2002 was not only 100,000 times worse than Shawn Michaels' bad selling from later that night, but is possibly the most retarded thing in WWE history. Comment 3: From the same show, JR's commentary on Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels and the postmatch attack was excellent. JR also had the line of the night ("*grumble grumble* WrestleMania 2? Who cares.")

Coming up next, One Night Only.

Who will Vince have his kids "take care of" ?
The Mandarin replied to UZI Suicide's topic in The WWE Folder
Big Cat Ernie Ladd, and maybe Linda McMahon and that's it. -
What? Would that imply that everyone comes to see the scratch logo on the ring aprons and nothing else?

After talking with JMA and Hitman, it looks like I'll be doing the writing for the Raw television shows, which is pretty cool. Hopefully we can give more detail and insight on the storylines. But know this-- I'll never book a Diva Search.

Yeah, he also overrated the average Storm-Venis/Dudleys match from that time period. Edge-Benoit and Batista-Flair/Batista-Orton were MUCH better tag teams in the first half of 2004. In my opinion, the last really good tag team match on WWE TV was Orton-Batista/Benoit-Edge from May of last year and the last great one was at No Mercy 2002.

Carlito's the best second generation star than Tiger Ali Singh!

We got it on Rogers Digital today. I think the deal was announced at tonight's Blue Jays game. Pretty funny, I was leaving the game and as soon as I go through the exit, I run into Carl DeMarco. Didn't say much to him.

That card looks like shit. Meltzer's probably just assuming half of it. They're probably going to go a completely different direction with guys like Big Show, Angle, JBL and others. Why would they blow a casket match in a non-main event position? Seriously, it sounds like he's doing some fantasy booking and passing it off as fact. I'll believe it when I see it.

Marmaduke. Now there's a fucking political cartoon.

The return of Maria is the best part of this show so far. The con man? ..why?

Is Powerslam even printing new issues? The last one I saw was that one with Lesnar on the cover.
