After watching last night, it is evident that Muhammad Hassan is a hypocritical, wannabe terrorist. But do you think that after six months of Hassan playing up that he was just like every other American that they'll try to go with this extremist character in an attempt to create even more offensive segments than the one last night for cheap heat? Or do you think the incident will be forgotten soon when the development of his character is overshadowed by his fear of the Undertaker (and we'll just have to assume that all Arab-Americans have terrorist ties). I think they're going with the latter, because while I do see Hassan going over at the PPV via underhanded tactics, I can't see them overshadowing a) Undertaker and b) the #1 contendership for the World Heavyweight Championship, with Mini-Hamas or whatever that shit was. Either way, it's Wrestlecrap.

This year: What's with the Huff nominations? That's some of the worst garbage I've ever seen. Hank Azaria must have paid them off. Conan O'Brien is going to lose (again) in a category he deserves to win (again) to the only mildly funny and captivating Daily Show. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition deserves to win the Reality Show category (again). Why it lost last year to "Queer Eye", I have no goddamn clue. While The OC sucked this year, Rachel Bilson surely deserves a nod over Blythe Danner. I can think of several episodes they could have sent showcasing her acting abilities. Boo Emmys.

When the title is a variation of "WWE News and Notes" I usually think "this doesn't sound like important news".

Michaels had a number one contender's victory back in November, and a pretty big return victory over Owen and Bulldog, but that's about it. He dropped the WWE title to a guy he was never able to beat, he couldn't beat Steve Austin in their rematch, lost the rematch to Vader, couldn't win a four way dance, tapped out to Bret Hart and had his leg broken. It's not like he's doing that bad, it's just that had he actually been booked in this manner in 1996-1997, he would have had a massive temper tantrum and possibly have quit or murdered Vince McMahon. BTW, I'm willing to assist with or even write the Raw results, if you guys don't have enough time.

No Mankind/HHH feud? Boo. I suggest you at least give them the cage match at Summerslam. Shawn Michaels has been jobbed out on PPV since dropping the title, the poor bugger. He needs a big win soon. Good stuff still. I love this thread.

Seriously, Punk doesn't need OVW fine-tuning and should be rushed out ASAP. Average show with two really good points.

Since I began watching wrestling, Shawn Michaels has always been my least-favourite wrestler, easily. But in recent months, my dislike for Michaels has worn off..and I'm actually starting to like him. I can't even remember why I hated him in the first place (other than that hideous entrance). I've even started to like his older matches, unlike before, when I would refuse to even consider that he put on entertaining matches. Considering I dislike spotty selling, have no remorse for drug addicts and I'm a homophobe Canadian, this is ruining my entire life. Please give me enough reasons to hate Shawn Michaels before the universe collapses on itself. Ah well, at least I still hate Jericho.

A big part of the crowd was pro-Flair during the series, though. It was backlash due to Steamboat's character being such a pussy. My favourite is still Breakdown '98, where Ken Shamrock gets monster heat while The Rock gets the babyface pop of the century.
