    New JBL WWE.Com Column

Yes, I know it's perfectly fine to do the Nazi salute, because it was for "entertainment purposes." I read the sentence wrong and responded too quickly. I'm suprised he considered that for entertainment purposes though, because it's obvious there's not much entertaining about SmackDown, nor their house shows.

    Review of Flair's book

Of course this discussion of who was in the right to make any comments here turns into a debate of who had the better fight with a four hundred pound masked man named Leon.

CM Funk's Once a Day *IN DEPTH* Match Review

You can still get the RVD/Regal match, OR I can do another HCTP review. Will it be: RVD vs. William Regal- WrestleMania X8 OR Edge/Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle/Eddie Guerrero- HCTP, 2 out of 3 Falls?

    Wrestletrivia mania!

Yes Don Muroco did it to counter out of a Arm bar Orindorf had trapped him in for 3 minutes WOW. I have no idea how I guessed that. I'm gonna guess 6) is Kane, although Rocky is a good answer (he started using the Crossface and Sharpshooter to get more "technical").

    Review of Flair's book

Just finished. Great book that's a summary of an amazing career and has a happy ending. Flair says he's very happy, loves his job, has great kids and can't wait to be a grandfather (even though I'm pretty sure his oldest daughter has given birth since the book was written). He says Shawn's a great wrestler and a good guy. Michaels and Triple H have been boosting his confidence backstage. Doesn't say anything about Michaels being a draw or not. And Flair absolutely loves the Undertaker. He says he's one of his favourite wrestlers, he can work the crowd, wrestle(!), has one of the best gimmicks, is a phenominal athelete (specifically mentioning the ropewalk of doom), is a big draw and is the most respected man in the locker room.

    Review of Flair's book

Unless he mentions Bret in the last 14 pages, there's nothing else said about him. He does say he was a good wrestler, but not a great champion. And then he says something about him not drawing, but it shouldn't be taken to seriously as he also uses the non-draw putdown against Foley, Savage (kinda, he says he wasn't as over after Elizabeth left), Shane Douglas, Jeff Jarrett, Sid, Scott Steiner, and many others. He tears into Sid for cutting that shoot promo in WCW before. Didn't Steiner also cut one on DDP that led to a backstage brawl? Oh, and he says that Sid/Benoit at Souled Out 2000 was a great match.

    Review of Flair's book

Who says he used it as a way to "get back at Bret"? I heard plenty of people say the EXACT SAME THING for years. Yeah. He states that he sympathizes with Bret about the emotion and anger over losing a loved one, but states that he think Bret used his brother's death to continue the war with Vince, which he did. And which I think anybody in the same situation would do. So I don't really see Flair "taking a shot" at him, but Flair does say that he lost respect for him during this time due to Bret making this feud public.

the One and Only Smackdown thread 6/24

That match ruled so much it's going to take a grand total of TWELVE SmartMarks to complain about it to give it a bad name. That's a challenge. Of course, there's no doubt that Undertaker carried that to a **1/2 affair. That match + opening match + Booker T's commentary + Torrie Wilson being called fat= first watchable SmackDown in months.
  19. Alright, I'll check it out sometime soon under your recommendation. Thanks.

the One and Only Smackdown thread 6/24

..uh. Anyways, I'll stand by my claim that Undertaker is one of the best Heavyweight workers left on SmackDown. MMA 'Taker is worth more than your entire house.

the One and Only Smackdown thread 6/24

Hole-in-One Barry Darsow! *marks out* This show has actually been..okay for once. And by "okay", I mean "not early-2000 WCW". JBL looks okay now that he's groomed himself and I would buy him as champ of SmackDown. By that I mean a) SmackDown is already in the shitter anyways; I'm just waiting for the belt to be handed to Mordecai and b) I'm not going to actually "buy" anything, so it makes no difference.

    Review of Flair's book

Flair trashes DDP and Scott Steiner later on in the book, among others. Anyways, a very good read (I have one chapter left) and I reccomend it even if you disagree with Flair about what he thinks of Foley (which only runs about two sentences).
  23. Fight Club Scarface Taxi Driver The Shawshank Redemption What is the appeal of the Godfather? I found it to be a boring movie with wooden acting the first time around. Maybe if I gave it another shot, I might like it, but I dunno.. Goodfellas is better by a wide margin, in my book.

Paul Bearer likely done with WWE after PPV

Well, y'know, Undertaker tried to kill his brother in a fire, Paul Bearer watched and organized the attempted murder via arson of Undertaker at Royal Rumble 1998, Paul Heyman was involved in attempted rape/sexual harassment with Brock Lesnar and Undertaker's wife around No Mercy 2002 and the Dudleyz tried to break either Tazz or Spike Dudley's neck in a parking lot in Jan. of 2002. So it's not like they're first-timers.

Paul Bearer likely done with WWE after PPV

I assume Undertaker is going to win and then allow the concrete to be dumped on Bearer. Or something stupid like that.
