I doubt anyone is going to get a rub from beating Jones, who everyone (mark, smark, adult, child) already knows sucks, or Morgan, who will have about two appearances before his first PPV match. And does anyone else think it is absurd that they will have Cena make the big save, with the face turn, and then get beaten down within 30 seconds.

Yeah, if I was the bachelor party guy I would have been pissed off at my girl. You can't mess with a man's bachelor party. It wasn't even like he was doing anything with the stripper, when she came in as the room service person. I didn't watch any other eps., because I thought the first was retarded enough.

I don't know, they gave away Lynne falling last year. She was a pretty big character, at the time, and they just gave away her exit. -
being 24 hours removed from a move that will make the Phillies contenders I would have to say <--------- as well.

From baseballamerica.com Two Cuban Stars Defect To U.S. By Kevin Baxter October 30, 2003 MIAMI--Cuban baseball stars Maels Rodriguez and Yobal Dueñas confirmed in a radio interview Thursday that they have defected with the goal of playing professional baseball in the United States. The pair, reported missing by Cuban authorities last Saturday, surfaced on Spanish-language radio station WQBA-AM (1140) in Miami. The players, along with Miami-based agent Henry Vilar, were interviewed by phone from an undisclosed location and are believed to be in El Salvador. Rodriguez, a 24-year-old righthander, would be the best big league prospect to defect from Cuba were it not for recent rumors of back and arm injuries. Rodriguez, whose fastball regularly reached 100 mph in the past, set the single-season strikeout record in Cuba, fanning 263 batters in 178 innings three years ago. In the 2001-02 season, he struck out 219 in 148-1/3 innings, going 14-3, 2.13 ERA. But in this spring's Cuban playoffs, Rodriguez pitched in 10 of 14 games for his Sancti Spíritus team and pitched complete games in two exhibitions. Cuban officials then left him off the Pan American Games and Olympic qualifying rosters, blaming arm and back injuries for the sudden loss of 15 mph off his fastball. "I'll demonstrate [i'm healthy]," Rodriguez said. "I'm going to demonstrate that I can still throw 100. These are things that they invent to cut a little off the careers of some athletes." Rodriguez, listed at 5-foot-11, 176 pounds during the 2000 Olympics, has had a strong international career as well, striking out 22 in 13 scoreless innings during the Olympics. One pro scout in Sydney rated Rodriguez' fastball an 8 on the scouting 2-to-8 scale, "because you can't go higher. "It's got velocity, it explodes, he's got command of it. That's as good as it gets." Even if the injury reports prove true, Rodriguez is young enough that he could return to have a long career. The only comparable previous Cuban defectors in terms of age have been Livan Hernandez and Danys Baez, and Baez had much less experience when he defected compared to Rodriguez. "I want to play the best baseball and that's in the United States," Rodriguez said. ‘‘It's a difficult step because you know how things are in Cuba. So when Yobal and I made this decision, it was the most important one in our careers." Dueñas, a 6-foot-2, 187-pound second baseman from Pinar del Rio, is a five-tool player and former Cuban stolen base champ who, at 31, is on the down side of a career that saw him debut in the Cuban national league at 17. Dueñas confirmed Thursday he was suspended by Cuban officials for his relationship with the family of Yankees righthander and former teammate Jose Ariel Contreras. "I never stopped seeing Ariel's family," he said. "He always treated me like a brother, and when he made the decision that I'm making now, I never turned my back on his family." Vilar said he arranged the players' escape from Cuba by boat. If the players seek political asylum or residency outside the United States, they will likely be declared free agents by Major League Baseball and be able to sign with whichever team offers the most money. Vilar's only other Cuban client, righthander Gary Galvez, defected to Miami a year ago but took up residency in the Dominican Republic in order to sign a free-agent deal with the Boston Red Sox. He reportedly ran into immigration problems after that, however, and remains in the Dominican, according to the Red Sox. Vilar did not address his next step during Thursday's interview and he did not return calls to his cell phone seeking comment. Kevin Baxter covers baseball for the Miami Herald.

There are a couple of cubans defecting this year, aren't there? If they are eligible, they are probably already on a plane to talk to George.
-
Brandon Claussen? Oh wait.... :runs from Yankee fan attacks:

I also think, for Raw, it makes it so they can claim more viewers. Have you ever seen the ads where they claim that 30 million (whatever the number) people watch Raw? Well basically this lets them count everyone who watches all of Raw twice (ex. Vince McMahon will tell you 6 million+ people watched wrestling on Monday).
-
If they lose Wells and Pettite, I would be shocked if Colon or Vazquez wasn't in their rotation. I can't see George settling for that type of rotation, no matter what the price.
-
I would imagine the Yankees assume they can get Wells for less than 6 mil. It is a gamble.
-
I wouldn't mind getting Wells. If Vazquez and Schilling end up too expensive, I would not be upset if Wells was their next option. He will probably be the cheapest good pitcher on the market, make a deal incentive heavy, and just kill a year or two until the kids in the minors are ready to go. I would rather get him for a year or two than a second tier FA who will want a 4-5 year deal.

I was guessing smaller scale on the doctor. Like she did abortions or something and he ends up very pro-life. I am kind of hoping it is just small, because I don't like the idea of having every single person be involved in something bigger. Unless she was a plant by Hector, which seems possible. He did specifically mention the President's debate, like he doesn't want it to go down. Maybe she is his insurance policy. That I'll buy, but an unrelated involvement is too much. -

The last clip was the mom flushing the virus down the toilet. Unless they have some mega swerve where they shut off the water in time or that wasn't the real bag it is fucking ridiculous. -

Whoever makes the teasers for the next week's show needs to be shot. There is no excuse for what they showed in the clip. -
CroCop vs. Goldberg - Revenge for Bret Fedor vs. Michael Cole - RRR dream match, punishment for Pound and Ground
-
I at least give them credit for not even pretending it is performance related anymore, when it comes to votes. And I am thinking next week we get a Trishelle vs. Coral showdown to see who can get the most support. I think Mike will want to go after Elka, but Coral will start some shit making everyone choose a side.

Sarah is getting so fucked over in this deal. It is all Darrell and Rachel thinking "Oh man, she sucked before she must still suck." And you had to know Matt's time was coming. He was pissing off too many people. Once he nominated Elka, after she had won them the only check they had (at the time), he wrote his ticket out of there. I would would be willing to guess it is going to be 50-50 odds that Sarah gets put up again within two weeks. Personally I would get rid of Veronica, because she always seems to be some sort of cancer and can't carry enough weight to balance it. And it was ridiculous that Irulan (?) went over to fuck with Sarah and then got pissed when Road Rules reacted to it. If you go into enemy terrain you better be prepared to deal with the consequences.

I love cheap, hail mary INTs. That last second INT got me a tie in one of my leagues.
-
FUCKING BATISTA?!? After the whole deal with Jericho, Batista is the one to attack Austin without giving a shit about repercussions. He isn't even in the god damn angle. That shall spell the end of Raw for me for a while.
-
I think his HR rate stems from the fact he gets in hitter's counts way too often and then has to groove one. And Duckworth worrieD me. Not my problem anymore. WHOOOOO. I was hoping, going into the offseason, that Montreal would be the team to overvalue him and make him a big point of a Vazquez deal. This works though.

I don't see it. His K's were down and he has some trouble throwing strikes. He really doesn't seem to have the closer mentality either.

I got UT as the constant opponent. I kept respecting him after the match, hoping he would stop fighting me. -
edit: nevermind. One year left for Hidalgo at 12 mil with a team option for 15 mil in 2005 with a 3 million dollar buyout. If any team takes that they are retarded.

The old strong man competitions ruled. Who was the one guy Bruce something or other? He looked like an average guy. At least the ones today look huge, that guy just looked like my neighbor.

Lord knows we have to bump WSOP for a 39th hour of SC. This thread had me thinking about the old days when ESPN2 first started. Remember when they would constantly air street hockey tourneys and stuff that only three people would watch. I miss those days.
