No team in this environment would give anywhere near that much to Manny or any player for that matter. And I figured 30 mil conservative. It would not shock me if a team asked Boston to take 45-50 of the deal, if they wanted any decent player/prospect in return.

I still don't get how MLB is going to let the Expos keep Vlad, just for selling value. The Expos have been on the market, for a while now with no takers, right? So obviously Vlad alone is not going to bring in a buyer. And the owners are not going to let the Expos spend 100 mil of their money just to keep Vlad off to the side, just in case someone wants the team. And a note on Abreu, he just makes it so damn easy to hate him. The way he looks on the field, just looks like he doesn't give a shit. Whether that is the case or not is a different story, but that is the appearance and that hurts in Philly. Plus there is still the season from a couple years ago, that made people think that he was a 30-30 guy moving into the 35-35 with a batting title class and that is not going to happen.

I think is a good idea to just put him on waivers. If they trade him they would probably have to pick up at least 30 million dollars on his contract. Maybe they would rather have that 30 mil than whichever players they got in return.

It is going to be one 10 minute round and one 5 minute round. Kind of off-topic: Was Gary Goodridge ever really any good? So far the only events I have seen were Pride 10,GP and the last two. The last minute of the episode was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I was dying for a good 5 minutes. This gives me good hope for this part season. It seems the first couple eps usually struggle before finding the flow. But I liked last week, loved this week, and next week looks like gold.

Yeah, I enjoyed that. Vince: Matt Hardy, you just beat everyone in my faction (Benoit,Eddie,Brock,Show,UT) in one match, but you aren't championship material. But this man is....Chris Benoit. WTF?!? Yes he couldn't get the job done with 4 faction members, so he is obviously in line for a one on one title match.

One fun thing about being someone small, like Hardy, is when you team with someone like Brock Lesnar. After not having really strong attacks or being able to lift big people, beating the ever loving shit out of someone with Brock is a good time. I am pissed though, that on Hardy's entrance they don't have a chyron so you don't see his name with the belt above it.

I also compiled the absolute worst faction in the history of video games. My first pick was Charlie Haas. I figured they would let me pick at least one more (Benjamin) and I thought me plus TWGTT would give a nice horseman vibe. Instead Albert wants to join. Since I am busy and don't want to feud with him I accept him, figuring three people still isn't a faction. Then they want a manager. So the only choice they give me is Sable. And that leads to the most dominant faction ever of Matt Hardy, Charlie Haas, Albert and Sable. I plan on doing better on that next season.

I am two weeks away from Mania with Matt Hardy as champ. I know now, never to have three titles at once again. It is a giant pain in the ass to wrestle that many matches. At least they didn't make me defend the CW title much. I have had it for 10 months and only defended it 5 or 6 times max. It is the CART season finale and with the championship already decided, I seriously doubt they will make the race up. And I think the Padres would just move if that happened. That is fate telling you a new stadium in SD is not meant to be.

Has anyone else thrown their controller, breaking it, from this game yet? I swear to god, I was John Cena facing Benoit in a match. And he countered every single thing I did. I got 5 moves in max, in about a 7-8 minute match. Please tell me this was an anomaly and that I won't put something through my TV because of this game.

If John Salmons, of the Sixers, ever get 35 minutes a game, he is going to be a stud.

It is the new ballpark syndrome. Unless you want to be a farce like the Pirates or Brewers, you need some players to field a quality team moving into a new building.

To even compare LT and Moe Williams is silly. First of all Williams isn't even getting 15 carries a game in the last month. And since week 3 his high game has been 70 yards. Throw in the fact that Minnesota scores through the air and that Michael Bennett's return is on the horizon. Since week one, LT has only had one week of less than 90 yards. And Edge, Faulk, and Dillon are not better than LT.

If the new owners don't cut payroll, the Dodgers are going to be some big players this offseason with Ashby and Jordan coming off. And it is hard to weep for baseball's supposed financial plight, when Eric Karros even has the words 9 million dollars anywhere in his contract.
