Dug it, bought it today. My only problem with it is by the time they get to the soldier storyline it feels like too much. At that point they are so far into the movie it just starts to feel like it drags by introducing a whole new plot line.

I get Benoit isn't Angle. I just got a little down on Lesnar after the WM match that was decent and the boring Ironman match. I am looking for him to show something now before buying into him against anyone. And calm down, RRR. Just think, in two and a half weeks you get GP finals goodness. You can hold on.
-
Side note. Is anyone else not really creaming over the idea of a Lesnar/Benoit match? A few months ago this was considered a dream match online. But after the disappointing matches Lesnar has had with Angle, I am just not believing the idea he can pull out a classic match, that this was hoped to be.
-
I can see that. So that will put the best match the WWF will put on this month, on next week's SD. Fuck SS.
-
Lesnar/Holly? That would be gold. See Lesnar break Holly's neck on PPV. That might get my 35 bucks.
-
So for SS we are looking at Goldberg/HHH Shane/Kane Cena/Angle Vince/UT Pointless 10 man Raw clusterfuck Albert/Benoit rematch Basham tag title match WHOOOOOOO! Saving 35 bucks baybee.
-
So do you think this is just a one time deal or are they going to make a sad attempt to get actual wrestling fans to buy SS by throwing Angle/Benoit in there?

I don't think there is revenue sharing in football. The main reason it is in place in baseball is every team makes their own local tv deals, I think. And that can cause wide gaps in revenue between teams. NFL, tv deals, are done for the whole league, not team by team. And the money is split up evenly amongst the teams. The NFL salary cap is a hard cap. No luxury tax if you go over arrangement. The thing that kills teams cap numbers are signing bonuses. If you sign a player the signing bonus is divided evenly along the length of the contract. But if you decide to trade/release the player, you get hit with the remaining part of the bonus the next year. That is why you don't really see too many trades. They recently made an exception, where you can sign a veteran for X amount of dollars, but it will only count as the league minimum (a much lower sum) against the cap. Because veterans were having a hard time getting signed, the veteran minimum was about 750 grand when you could bring in a rookie to do the same job for about 450 grand. I am not really sure what plays into the increase in the cap from year to year. I don't really know what else you want to know.

Looks like Randleman vs. Sakuraba As usual, stolen from the Sherdog MB http://www.boxingtime.com/randleman_interview.htm Interviewer - There has been a lot of talk on who you are fighting in Pride, who has been confirmed ? KR - Sakuraba. I - It’s confirmed ? KR - Yes they should be coming out with a PR in the next couple day‘s. -
Kevin Harvick wins Atlanta spring 2001, three races after Earnhardt's death. As a fan of Flyers, Phillies, and Eagles for 22 years I haven't been provided much else. And there is no excuse for a Braves fan complaining about being shortchanged in this thread.

You better be scared of HHH. After he put me over this week, I doubt he is going to be in a giving mood in the near future.
-
I would just grab Neil O'Donnell. He played decent backing up McNair and as long as the offense is centered around the QB turning around and stuffing the ball in #26's chest they'll survive.
-
I despised the 91 Pro Set Portraits series. I hated having to look on the back of all the cards to see who the people were.
-
In regards to the jersey. Part of me thinks it is a disgrace to chop up something like that. But on the other side, thinking of some kid who could never possibly own the real deal. To open up a pack and have a piece is pretty cool. Granted all of the cards will end up in the hands of collectors making the point moot, but there is some good in the idea.
-
Package Ratliff with Bibby or Miller. Trade to a guy who needs a center. Get a good rebounding forward. Maybe be able to steal Kirilenko from someone if they really need a center. He will help you in everything.
-
I still have all of my old cards. I was young when the rookie cards were at their peak, so I didn't want to sell them. Now that they have nose dived, it is worth just hanging onto them til they are considered classic/vintage. I have been debating setting up a database for them (30000+ cards). Ah, the life of the unemployed, let's you do stupid projects like that.

If RVD could adapt his style and turn in a decent match, then yes it would make sense to target his legs. But, again, HHH knew RVD couldn't work the match he wanted to use. So HHH went in with the idea that he wanted to expose RVD.
-
I was thinking Sable = Busy. While she wasn't as whorish as Sable, she is as she puts it a "make out slut". And that is all you see Sable do on SD.
-
I don't really recall HHH working anything different than your typical Main Event brawl style matchup before the RVD match. And again, those other workers are better-much better than RVD. You can trust them to work a different style of match. RVD couldn't HHH knew he couldn't HHH did anyway
-
These young punks getting picked too damn early these days.
-
Because he going into the match, he decided to work a match he knew his opponent couldn't work. I could understand, if in the middle of the match you changed things up a little or something. But to go into the match, working a style against your opponent, you are going into the match to make him look like an ass.
-
Every time I can remember, though, they seemed to put a shitty card last against the gum.
-
There were a couple of fuck ups there. But on that last play, with how long it was taking to develop, a veteran like Brown should have known to be in the endzone.
-
I can't believe Tim Brown would fuck up like that. He should know better.
-
I'm not saying who's a better worker. I'm saying that Booker was able to work that formula and have a good match. Most of Booker's offense is kicks and that Houston Hangover which turned into a somersault leg drop. It's not over who is better, it's illustrating that what HHH did wasn't horrible. RVD just couldn't do it and HHH shouldn't be blamed for RVD not knowing how to do the match. So essentially what you are saying is that Booker knew how to work a style that RVD didn't know how to? And how is that not saying Booker is a better worker. I would argue, though, that RVD is much more leg reliant than Booker. But the problem lies in the fact that HHH knew going into that match that RVD couldn't work that style. Everyone who knew wrestling could tell you that. So HHH decided to go into a match working a style he knew his opponent couldn't work. That is sabotage.
